resident Joe Biden focused on the theme of unity in his inaugural address. "Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: bringing America together, uniting our people and uniting our nation," he said. It sounds so nice. But only a career politician can be this disingenuous and speak the words as if he were so, so sincere. If Biden's top priority were really unity, would he really have allowed a trial of former President Donald Trump to move forward in the Senate? Or immediately signed 30 executive orders in his first three days in the Oval Office,...

Armed and ready to go, Taiwan air force jets screamed into the sky on Tuesday in a drill to simulate a war scenario, showing its fleet’s battle readiness after dozens of Chinese warplanes flew into the island’s air defence zone over the weekend. Taiwan, claimed by China as its territory, has been on edge since the large-scale incursion by Chinese fighters and nuclear-capable bombers into the southwestern part of its air defence identification zone on Saturday and Sunday, which coincided with a U.S. carrier group entering the South China Sea. The base in the southern city of Tainan, home to...

I have a fairly new tower computer with a built-in network RJ45 port. The motherboard has a Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller built in that is supposed to get speeds up to 1GB but in the device manager it only says 100MB/100MB up and down. I have a fiber connection that was 600MB Full Duplex but is being upgraded to Gigabit fiber soon. Since my computer is upstairs I use a TP-Link R305 range extender that is supposed to be capable of up to 1.2GB. The signal is strong and I connect directly from that to my PC with a...

The new White House press secretary, Jen Psaki, came to the briefing room on Tuesday with domestic policy adviser Susan Rice. This came two days after CNN's Brian Stelter celebrated the "refreshing" arrival of "transparency and truth" at the briefings. Rice is best remembered in conservative circles for spewing falsehoods on five Sunday talk shows on Sept. 16, 2012, when she was White House national security adviser: She claimed the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans was a "spontaneous reaction" to an Islamophobic YouTube video, not a terrorist attack. "Protesters" showed up with rocket-propelled...

Republicans are questioning the timing of Democratic governors and mayors easing their coronavirus restrictions. While these state and local officials point to data and pre-set benchmarks to justify their reopening decisions, critics of the lockdowns that have hurt businesses over the past year suspect former President Donald Trump leaving office has something to do with it. Rep. Jim Hagedorn told the Washington Examiner the timeline is suspect given President Biden's inauguration was last week, saying, "It is no coincidence" that Democratic leaders are lifting restrictions now. .... because Democrat politicians put their party’s political interests ahead of ... their constituents,"...

It’s just the flu, bro. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ Cases are dropping. I don’t know what this means. I don’t see the rhetoric from lefties changing. But it might embolden a brave GOP Governor from following the lead of Desantis’ in Florida and end a lockdown. Democrats are in a tough situation. They really want to control our lives and they also want to be seen as rescuing people from the Coronavirus. The only thing I can think of so they get the best of both worlds is for them to say they saved us from the Coronavirus, but mandates and lockdowns must...

Before shelling out more money for coronavirus vaccinations, the federal government should urge states to claim their share of $200 million doled out by the Trump administration four months ago, on top of $140 million for regular flu vaccines provided in early summer, according to former Trump aides. Sharply disputing, with proof, claims by the Biden administration that there was no vaccine plan in place on Inauguration Day, the officials said the money is there for states to kick-start their vaccination programs if they’d only take it. And one official noted that the $340 million came on top of $3...

It was just over four years ago during the lead up to President Donald Trump’s inauguration when a FedEx driver from rural Illinois who had volunteered for the campaign borrowed a suit and trekked to Washington for the event of a lifetime. Trump was so impressed with the story he ended up meeting Shane Bouvet the night before Inauguration Day. Speaking alone, Bouvet told the incoming president about his father, a military vet, suffering back home from bladder cancer....Trump’s response? He provided a $10,000 check and a signed Inaugural ticket — No. 13. Alexander President Bill Panagopulos told Secrets that...

National Guard troops stationed at the Capitol famously have had to nap on the building’s marble floors, but that’s not the worst thing about their working conditions. The food is. The reason: The National Guard Bureau hired a food contractor to feed the troops, but the contractor simply messed up. Here’s a picture of today’s “breakfast” as passed along to me. Some of the troops didn’t get this filling breakfast of an apple (at least it looks like a good apple!) and a gross chocolate chocolate-chip muffin in a brown bag until after 10 a.m. Here’s another meal, supposed to...

After Joe Biden's inauguration, he ordered everyone on federal lands to wear a mask. That night, he and his family posed for pictures at the Lincoln Memorial -- none of them wearing a mask. California Governor Gavin Newsom told Californians it's "essential" to avoid "mixing with people outside of your household." Then he had dinner with lots of people outside his household, without masks. You can see the mask-less governor and the Biden family in my new video. Newsom did apologize for attending "a friend's birthday party." Maybe you heard about that. But you might not know that the restaurant...

This list is based on the availability of the Sacraments in the traditional rites, homeschooling laws, and coronavirus regulations. As the Biden regime teases another national lockdown and Americans worry about their civil liberties and the basic right to peaceably assemble, the divide between blue and red states is becoming increasingly obvious. The following is a list of what I think are some of the best and worst states for pro-life Catholics and freedom-loving Americans, based on the availability of the Sacraments in the traditional rites, homeschooling laws, and coronavirus regulations. These rankings are based on publicly available data and...

It turns out that Americans felt more satisfied under the Republican than the Democrat. Deep in a new survey about dissatisfaction most Americans feel today, Gallup revealed that they were more satisfied during Trump’s four years than both of Obama’s terms and former President George W. Bush's second term. That is 16 years. , “Average satisfaction during Trump's overall term turns out to be at least marginally higher than the averages for each of Obama's two terms (23% and 26%, respectively) and George W. Bush's second term (28%).” Despite the election of President Biden, satisfaction in the United States is...

The judge granted a 14-day temporary restraining order until the case could be further examined, following a request by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. A near-complete suspension of deportations would only serve to endanger Texans and undermine federal law," Paxton said in a statement. On his first day in the White House Biden signed a moratorium on the deportation of undocumented migrants who arrived in the United States before November 1, 2020, thus fulfilling a campaign promise. Paxton, a close ally of former president Donald Trump, immediately appealed the order. "I commend the Court for prioritizing the law and safety...

President Joe Biden has already shown that racial equity and Critical Race Theory will play a key role in the ideology of his administration. Essentially, Critical Race Theory holds that certain races have malign characteristics intrinsic to their skin color. Some races use racial privilege and power to oppress other races. This theory is not new; indeed, it has been a major stream in Western thinking for over a century. A version of Critical Race Theory was implemented as the core ideology of the German State between 1933 and 1945. In the German version of Critical Race Theory, it was...

A plainclothes NYPD cop investigating a past shooting was shot while chasing a man in the Bronx on Tuesday night, police and sources said. The 31-year-old male officer, with the department’s gun violence suppression unit, was struck in the back near Lafayette Avenue and White Plains Road in Soundview at about 10:30 p.m. police and sources said. He and three fellow officers were driving near the intersection when the 24-year-old suspect — who is known to the department — fled after he realized they had spotted him, the sources said

Former Executive Director of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Florida, Hassan Shibly (pictured) has literally taken what the Qur’an says about beating your wife and applied it to his own family. Verse 4:34 in the Qu’ran allows for Muslim men to “strike” their wives, and that is exactly what Hassan Shibly did to his wife Imane Sadrati, who has accused him in a fundraising video of beating her in front of her children, causing her living situation with Shibly as “unbearable.” “My children and I are in desperate need of your help,” stated Sadrati. “For years I’ve...

President Joe Biden was inaugurated yesterday, but another former presidential candidate got the internet talking: Bernie Sanders. The Vermont senator had everyone talking about his outfit, specifically his mittens. **SNIP** While Bernie fans may be disappointed that his mittens are not for sale, they should know that they can get the next best thing: Bernie Sanders mittens merch. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has created a Bernie Sanders Inauguration Day bobblehead, which is available to preorder for $25 now, and is expected to ship in May 2021. As well as the Bernie bobblehead, the National Bobblehead Hall...
