Nick Loris, an economist with the Heritage Foundation, spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Samantha Renck about President Joe Biden’s executive orders on energy and the environment, what impact they might have, and more. “The Paris Climate Accord was kind of doomed from the start” Loris, who published the report “Assessing Themes in the Biden Energy and Environment Platform,” said. “It would impose huge costs on American families and consumers and businesses in terms of higher energy prices and really be devoid of any meaningful climate benefit.” Loris also discussed how rejoining the Paris Climate Accord could impact fracking...

President Biden is making an early bet that after years of stalemate the moment for comprehensive immigration reform has arrived. But lawmakers in both parties caution that Mr. Biden’s effort is likely to face some of the same headwinds the plans of the last three presidents did. On his first day in office, Mr. Biden proposed a broad immigration bill that would create an eight-year path to citizenship for the 11 million immigrants living in the country without a permanent legal status. It would have an expedited pathway for farmworkers and the young immigrants known as Dreamers, along with changes...

Stated many times thru the years we personally know (and work) with Nielsen ratings people here in L.A. as we need the ratings for our production & studio work. Got confirmation from at least 1 person high up the food chain from Nielsen whom we've known for a very long time that the "39 million" number was BULLCRAP. It was made up just to embarrass Trump's 2016 numbers. The true numbers were 20-24 million TOPS. 39 million are not even close to NFL playoff numbers and for some dementia-ridden child-molester who could not even get 100 people to his rallies,...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on Friday stated that Democrats cannot “indefinitely” reach out to Republicans, mere days after Democrats took control of the White House and Senate. “We cannot reach out to Republicans indefinitely. If they choose not to come on board to help the American people now, we have the majority. We should use that majority,” Sanders said alongside a clip of his recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, in which the Vermont senator reiterated the same sentiment. “Look I think we should do our best to reach out to Republicans, who represent communities that were suffering...

Joe Biden signed 15 Executive Orders on Wednesday alone. Biden signed additional executive orders on stimulus checks, food stamps and minimum wage on Friday. President Biden signed two executive orders, one of which would increase federal food assistance and streamline the delivery of stimulus checks. Some internet sleuths allege that while signing the orders Biden said: “I don’t know what I’m signing” Video below: LinkLinkIt doesn’t mater if you are a fan of Biden but until we find a video with even clear sound we can’t tell for sure if he is saying: I don’t know what I’m signing or...

Former U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan said President Joe Biden made America less safe within hours of being sworn-in on January 20. He said the new president’s executive orders ending the Trump administration’s Migrant Protection Protocol and stopping construction of border wall systems places Americans’ lives in danger. “With the stroke of a pen, President Biden made this country less safe,” Commissioner Morgan told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. “It’s pure politics over public safety.” Morgan said he was amazed at how quickly he transitioned on these issues without taking the time to talk to the...

Politico on Friday broke the news that our newspaper of record has opted to jettison “freelance columnist” Willie Brown at month’s end, putting a belated conclusion on an inexcusable and, frankly, inconceivable situation. And it only lasted 12 years. Less time than the Central Subway project or Geary BRT - but an embarrassingly long stretch for something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Brown, former mayor and Assembly speaker, and still very much a mover and shaker, high-level information peddler, and registered and unregistered lobbyist in this town, should never have had a column in the San Francisco...

Former President Donald Trump flouted the limits of presidential power unlike any of his recent predecessors, leaving behind a legacy of unmatched abuses that range from violations of longstanding norms to potentially criminal behavior. Donald Trump wearing a hat© Provided by CNN It was hard to keep track amid the daily deluge of controversial tweets and distractions that were a hallmark of the Trump presidency. And some of the most egregious abuses of power weren't clear at the time but came into focus after exhaustive investigations. To chronicle Trump's most consequential abuses of power, CNN spoke with a politically diverse...

WYLIE, Texas — A Texas man identified as one of the Trump supporters who stormed the U.S. Capitol earlier this month is accused of threatening to shoot his children if they turned him in to federal authorities. Guy Wesley Reffitt, 48, of Wylie, is charged with obstruction of justice for the alleged threats. He is also charged with knowingly entering a restricted building without lawful authority in connection with the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on Sunday declared there was a “great deal of evidence of fraud” and illegal election law changes that merit a “thorough investigation.” In a contentious exchange on ABC News’ “This Week With George Stephanopolous,” Paul called the host “a fool.” “You're forgetting who you are as a journalist if you think there's only one side," he scolded. “In Wisconsin, tens of thousands of absentee votes had only the name on it and no address,” Paul said. “Historically those were thrown out, this time they weren't. They made special accommodations. It's a pandemic. They changed the law...

MADISON, WI — Tax and spend Tony does it again — this time looking to tax the small businesses his administration has driven to the brink of extinction with lockdowns and other COVID-19 health edicts. Gov. Tony Evers’ Department of Revenue last week quietly issued guidance that ignores federal COVID-19 relief legislation language on tax liability and aims to tax tens of thousands of Wisconsin businesses that received funding through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). “Gov. Tony Evers and the DOR are looking to skim the federal money that came down to our small businesses so they can grow the...

HBO host Bill Maher on Friday likened former President Donald Trump’s rumored new “Patriot Party” to Adolf Hitler’s Brownshirts. “First of all, that sounds like Nazis to me,” Maher said regarding Trump’s alleged future venture. “And not like the ‘killing all the Jews Nazis,’ but like fascism come to America, Patriot Party, whenever you are that blatant about ‘We’re the Patriots, we’re the good people.’”

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a U.S. Government funded database [1] that tracks injuries and deaths caused by vaccines. A 2011 report by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Inc. for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) stated that fewer than one percent of all vaccine adverse events are reported to the government: Although 25% of ambulatory patients experience an adverse drug event, less than 0.3% of all adverse drug events and 1-13% of serious events are reported to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Likewise, fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. Low...

“. . . Showing forbearance to one another in love” (Ephesians 4:2). In order to walk worthy, we must forgive our enemies and love them. The term forbearance is not often used today and is therefore unfamiliar to many of us. The Greek word translated “showing forbearance” means “suppressing with silence.” It carries the idea of throwing a blanket over sin. First Peter 4:8 says, “Love covers a multitude of sins,” and Proverbs 10:12 declares, “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all transgressions.” A forbearing person doesn’t trumpet other people’s sins but rather forgives them. Forbearance has room for...

Earlier this month, a pro-Trump mob unlawfully breached the United States Capitol, hoping to “stop the steal” by interfering with the Electoral College vote count. In a positive deviation from the norm, Americans are coming together to denounce political violence, calling for the swift arrests of the perpetrators. What’s troubling, however, is law enforcement’s use of the same invasive technologies that, just a few months ago, caused a wave of backlash and prompted big tech to terminate government contracts. While Americans rally around this national manhunt, they should keep a watchful eye on their Fourth Amendment rights. Sure, the rioters...
