On Thursday’s Morning Edition, National Public Radio touted their Jen Psaki interview with the headline “Biden's Incoming Press Secretary: Briefings Won't Be A Platform For Right-Wing Spin.” As usual, NPR thinks “right-wing spin” is the opposite of their reportage….which is “objective.” Not left-wing spin! Morning anchor Steve Inskeep had asked about how Team Biden would handle Fox, since Obama had a fairly hostile relationship. Psaki pointed out she granted an interview to Chris Wallace, but would never do so for Sean Hannity. But which type represents the Fox reporters at the White House? Psaki insisted she’s no pushover for right-wing...

The driver, Max Torgovnick, 36, recounted the harrowing ordeal that he and his mother experienced in an interview with The New York Post. "That’s something like you would see on the streets of a war zone," said Torgovnick. "I never thought New York would get this bad." According to Torgovnick, he and his mother, in her 70s, had just dropped off a donation to a nonprofit group working to address homelessness and the AIDS crisis when a bicycle gang of about 50 or so teenagers surrounded his vehicle. "I slowed down to let them go by, but then they started...

Facts matter, but to allow left-wing institutions to monopolize their definition does more to undermine the truth than any kind of misinformation making waves on the internet. In July, USA Today issued a “fact-check” that promoted a left-wing conspiracy theory asserting the Donald Trump campaign’s use of an eagle on memorabilia featured imagery of Nazi Germany. The claim: Trump campaign shirts feature imperial eagle, a Nazi symbolOur ruling: True https://t.co/3eCiYdgQvK— USA TODAY (@USATODAY) July 12, 2020“President Donald Trump’s campaign website recently unveiled a T-shirt that has come under fire because of design similarities between its logo and a Nazi symbol,” the “fact-check”...

When Fox News' Peter Doocy asked about Rev. Raphael Warnock's various controversies, Ossoff used the opportunity to flip the script and push the lie that she campaigned with a former member of the Klu Klux Klan. "Here's the bottom line: Kelly Loeffler has been campaigning with a klansman," the senate hopeful said. "Kelly Loeffler has been campaigning with a klansman and so she is stooping to these vicious personal attacks to distract from the fact that she's been campaigning with a former member of the Klu Klux Klan. I mean, we deserve better than that here in Georgia."

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said that about 100 Republican lawmakers might vote to object to Joe Biden’s Electoral College votes when the Joint Session of Congress convenes on Jan. 6. “I hope I’m wrong. I’m guessing it will be upwards of 100,” Kinzinger, a frequent critic of President Donald Trump, said on “The Bulwark Podcast.” “I think you’re going to have some people that come out and take a strong stand,” he said, adding that “I’m not going to be surprised if it approaches three figures.” In the podcast interview, Kinzinger said that he does not support the initiative to...

As we bid farewell to 2020, a year overloaded with the ridiculous and the outrageous, full of comfortable lies and unacceptable truths, I find myself pondering death. Not so much the death of 350,000 who, we are told, succumbed to a plague unleashed from China, but the otherwise unheralded death of our dear Uncle Sam. Admittedly, the patient had been declining for some time. Since the 1960s, the elderly gentleman had ceased making the really hard decisions in his deliberative centers. In the early stages of his dementia, he devolved all of the truly difficult, unpopular, and detrimental decisions onto...

During a Thursday appearance on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) weighed in on the standoff over the stimulus check amount sent out to individuals in the latest coronavirus relief bill. President Donald Trump and some in the GOP are pushing for the checks to be $2,000, but others want the amount to be $600, which was agreed upon initially. Graham said he is “with the president” on the check amount but acknowledged getting a vote by January 3 is not possible. He urged Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to hold a standalone vote on increasing the...

“Where are the missing military ballots in Georgia?” President Donald Trump asked right after the election night on Twitter. “What happened to them?” In Georgia, a state official answered: There are no missing military ballots. Urban and suburban counties where Biden has allegedly outperformed Trump had the most military ballots outstanding, including Fulton with 956, DeKalb with 802, and Gwinnett with 741, according to data released on November 4th. Those could include service members anywhere in the world who are still registered in Georgia. But some strange stuff did happen in Georgia as all 900 military ballots in Fulton County...

-- abstract -- We investigate the consequences and predictors of emitting signals of victimhood and virtue. In our first three studies, we show that the virtuous victim signal can facilitate nonreciprocal resource transfer from others to the signaler. Next, we develop and validate a victim signaling scale that we combine with an established measure of virtue signaling to operationalize the virtuous victim construct. We show that individuals with Dark Triad traits—Machiavellianism, Narcissism, Psychopathy—more frequently signal virtuous victimhood, controlling for demographic and socioeconomic variables that are commonly associated with victimization in Western societies. In Study 5, we show that a...

Olivia Troye, a former aide to Vice President Mike Pence, claims she is “very concerned” about violence taking place on January 6th. Troye, who made the assertion during an appearance on MSNBC’s Deadline, added any violence that might ensue would take place because President Trump is encouraging it. “I’m actually very concerned that there will be violence on January 6th because the president himself is encouraging it,” she fretted. “This is what he does,” Troye continued. “He tweets, he incites is, and he gets followers and supporters to behave in this manner, and they believe they are being patriots because...

In his December 13, 2020 column in the London-based Saudi daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, senior Lebanese journalist Hazem Saghiya defends the countries that recently normalized their relations with Israel. These countries, he says, have crucial existential concerns and national needs of their own, and they cannot be expected to sacrifice them for the sake of the Palestinian cause, "to which nobody ascribes much importance any longer." He stressed that, although everyone recognizes the Palestinians' right to an independent state, their cause is no longer consistent with the national interests of other Arab states, and sometimes even contravenes these interests. He adds...

A researcher at the Department of Justice on Tuesday released a 25-page report indicating a high probability of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. World-renown economist John Lott Ph.D., examined election results from Pennsylvania and Georgia, as well as potential election fraud in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin. “This paper’s approach allows us to quantify how large a potential problem vote fraud and other abnormalities might be in the 2020 election,” Dr. Lott wrote. White House advisor Peter Navarro heralded Lott’s study results on Twitter:

In all Trump gave us — the good, the bad, the hilarious, and the unsettling — his administration brought much-needed clarity to the GOP and the country. At the end of his second term, amid the early retrospectives about his presidency, George W. Bush reportedly remarked, “the true history of my administration will be written 50 years from now.” It was a wise reminder that the passage of time generally yields a more honest, dispassionate analysis of events than is often allowed by the heated political present. While we are left to wonder how history will judge the last four years of...

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Becky Hammon became the first woman to direct a team in NBA history, taking over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers following Gregg Popovich’s ejection in the first half. Popovich was ejected by official Tony Brown with 3:56 remaining in the second quarter. Popovich screamed at Brown and entered the court following a non-call on DeMar DeRozan’s attempted layup and a subsequent attempted rebound by Drew Eubanks. Popovich was applauded as he exited the court by several of the team’s family members that were in attendance at the AT&T Center.

Meanwhile, I’ve been authorized to release the transcript of a July 15, 2020 deposition of Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist Sy Hersh, wherein Mr. Hersh is forced to admit that he did speak with a senior intelligence official about an FBI report...
