U.S. Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told The Kyle Olson Show this week that a senator will object to the electoral college vote, which will trigger debates and votes in both the House and Senate next week. In a segment that will air on Michigan radio stations Saturday — the day before her wearing in — Greene said a number of representatives will object to the electoral votes from six states on January 6. Greene said she reviewed affidavits from witnesses in states like Michigan and called President Donald Trump to say she wanted to meet with him and any...

Come 8 a.m. Monday, restaurants and bars can reopen for indoor dining at a quarter or half of their occupancy. Bowling alleys, hair salons, museums and casinos can open their doors up to 50% capacity. And other in-person businesses can operate up to 75% capacity. Hearing that Gov. Tom Wolf announced on Wednesday he is lifting these stricter time-limited COVID-19 mitigation orders he first imposed on Dec. 12 is a relief to hard-hit businesses across the commonwealth. Wolf said his decision to not extend those orders and returning to the ones in place as of Dec. 11 is based on...

Radical ‘Black Panther’ Sasha Johnson has called for the creation of a “race offenders’ register” that would block people from securing work if they have been found to have made “microaggressions” and demanded that black people in the UK receive “Holocaust-style” reparations. The radical activist first rose to prominence in July after a Breitbart London viral video showed Sahsa Johnson proclaiming that British police are “no different than the KKK” and calling for the establishment of a “Black Militia” to fight racism in Britain.

I posted the replay of the entire hearing. It is SO worth watching. At the conclusion, they voted for a forensic analysis of mail in ballots and I believe they voted to allow Jovan Pulitzer to be a part of it or lead the audit. This is great news and I'm surprised it's not got legs.

January 6 is the day we learn whether our Constitution will hold and whether congressional Republicans care. The 2020 presidential election was, in several targeted battleground states, an unconstitutional electoral exercise. Even putting aside evidence of significant fraud, virtually none of which received a hearing by our courts, events leading up to and including the November national election constituted a radical and grave departure from the federal electoral system adopted by the framers of the Constitution and the state ratification conventions. Now, let's be clear: None of this matters to the Democrat Party, since it and its surrogates perpetrated these...

Vice President Mike Pence has often pledged loyalty to the Constitution, and on January 6 he should stand up for it and the unborn. Under the Twelfth Amendment, Pence, in his role as President of the Senate, is responsible for deciding the integrity and validity of the Electoral College votes for president.“The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted,” commands the Twelfth Amendment. Under this provision of the Constitution, the congressmen and senators are to be assembled as mere witnesses, with...

Nearly half of those in intensive care units (ICU) due to complications from the Wuhan coronavirus across Sweden are from migrant backgrounds. A total of 46 per cent of those in ICUs in Sweden are from migrant backgrounds according to a report. Given that Sweden’s foreign-born population is around one-fifth of the total number of residents of the country, the figures suggest that migrants are serious over-represented in coronavirus statistics.

I don’t know when it happened, but at some point we—as a society—decided that it was indecent to consume a carbohydrate on or in another carbohydrate. There are some exceptions, such as Taco Bell’s now retired spicy potato soft taco and the UK’s chip butty, but in most circles, carb-on-carb is a fairly rare configuration. Potatoes are the easiest to get away with. Both the taco and butty (which is British for “odd little sandwich”) I mention above use potato as the “filling carb,” and a wheat-based carb as the delivery system. Getting two wheat-based carbs involved, on the other...

There may not be a magic pill for curing racism, but scientists have found that dropping lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), magic mushrooms, ecstasy and other psychedelics can potentially alleviate the trauma caused by racial discrimination. “Currently, there are no empirically supported treatments specifically for racial trauma,” said Dr. Monnica Williams of the University of Ottawa. “This study shows that psychedelics can be an important avenue for healing.” She co-authored the trippy research published in the journal Drugs: Education, Prevention and Policy. To test out the mind-bending theory, Williams and other researchers enlisted 313 people who reported taking a psychedelic drug...

Acting Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen has released the following statement: “We understand that Pakistani authorities are taking steps to ensure that Omar Sheikh remains in custody while the Supreme Court appeal seeking to reinstate his conviction continues. The separate judicial rulings reversing his conviction and ordering his release are an affront to terrorism victims everywhere. We remain grateful for the Pakistani government’s actions to appeal such rulings to ensure that he and his co-defendants are held accountable. If, however, those efforts do not succeed, the United States stands ready to take custody of Omar Sheikh to stand trial here....

We are what we eat. While it may sound like a corny phrase, it’s very true. Our diets have an impact on everything in our lives, including our social interactions, appearance, health and even psychological condition. Food does more than provide fuel for our bodies. It can comfort us, add happiness and help create memories, traditions and unique experiences. Punta Gorda-based Registered Dietician Nutritionist Gisela Bouvier said, “Food is one of the greatest pleasures in life … it feeds us in many ways …” But food can be our friend or foe. While healthy eating habits can contribute to longevity,...
