....“We discovered that it is quite simple to kill the coronavirus using LED bulbs that radiate ultraviolet light,” said Prof. Hadas Mamane, head of the Environmental Engineering Program at Tel Aviv University’s School of Mechanical Engineering, who led the study with Prof. Yoram Gerchman and Dr. Michal Mandelboim. She said that the UV-LED bulbs require less than half a minute to destroy more than 99.9% of the coronaviruses. The study is the first of its kind in the world. An article about it was published earlier this month in the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology B: Biology. TRUMP TOLD THEM,...

THIS DECEMBER, MARTIN LERSCH, A Norwegian chemist and a passionate cook, rolled out his homemade gingerbread dough and got to work. He flipped his cookie cutter to and fro repeatedly, creating a quilt of cookies in the shape of Christmas trees. But Lersch’s main goal wasn’t simply a batch of delicious holiday cookies. He wanted to bake mathematically perfect ones. For the last few years, Lersch has attempted to solve a problem that often bedevils cookie bakers. “You want to make best possible use of the dough without having to collect all the in-betweens and knead it together and roll...

Stop waiting for a miracle drug: A Boston University doctor says a sufficient amount of vitamin D can cut the risk of catching coronavirus by 54%. “People have been looking for the magic drug or waiting for the vaccine and not looking for something this simple,” said Dr. Michael Holick, professor of medicine, physiology and biophysics at Boston University School of Medicine. Holick and his colleagues studied blood samples from Quest Diagnostics of more than 190,000 Americans from all 50 states and found that those who had deficient levels of vitamin D had 54% higher COVID positivity compared to those...

With this presidential election, American history is hanging in the balance, but not as in the past, where we perceived the implementation of unwanted policies if the wrong candidate should win. In this post-election scenario, a Biden administration is much worse than "unwanted" or "wrong-headed" policies. To this writer, we are facing a collapse of natural rights as depicted in the Bill of Rights, the curtailing of individual mobility — upward socio-economic mobility and literally restricted travel mobility (to protect the environment under Green New Deal restrictions). If we have a new administration, we are also facing forced vaccinations and...

....Volz’s colleague, Neil Ferguson, also played a key role in promoting the need for more restrictive lockdowns due to this new genetic variant. Ferguson was caught in May breaking the rules of previous lockdowns he had heavily promoted and arguably orchestrated in order to visit his lover. He has also previously attracted heavy criticism for a history of producing flawed models, particularly his wildly inaccurate predictions regarding the anticipated COVID-19 death toll that were largely used to justify earlier lockdowns in the UK. Despite his relatively recent fall from grace, Ferguson remains part of NERVTAG and was also part of...

The best funny text messages are always the text messages meant to be completely normal but wind up being something much different thanks to the often cursed auto-correct.

So Trump has Mnuchin negotiate the Covid bill with his blessing, and in full coordination with McConnell and Loeffler.....then at the last minute, sides with Pelosi and hands GA Dems a huge gift by blowing up the bill and undercutting the position of the GA Repubs running in that race (again with Trumps full blessing BEFORE the bill was agreed to). Now Ossof and Warnock are seizing on Trumps veto threat to attack Loeffler and Perdue. Its a Trump/Ossof/Warnock alliance to spend more money. Maybe I’m missing the “brilliance” of this strategy.

It’s carnage out there for Fox News. – Since the moment Fox News decided to issue a premature call of Arizona for China Joe Potato Head Biden on Election Night, the cable news channel has seen its ratings take a massive slide. As Daily Wire reports, “Between the dates of November 2nd and November 11th, viewership dropped by 40% for Neil Cavuto, 40% for Bret Baier — who hosted one of the presidential debates between Trump and Biden — 40% for Martha MacCallum, 36% for Laura Ingraham, 33% for Sean Hannity, and 29% for Tucker Carlson.” Yes, Fox remains the...

I have to ask, “What’s the point of having police and a judiciary?” when I read about this case from Chicago, a city world-renowned for the level of lethal criminality its residents endure . .. An accused serial burglar and thief has been sentenced to probation for a burglary in Lincoln Park last year — even though he was already on probation for two burglaries at the time of the alleged break-in. Jonathan Hernandez, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of theft in exchange for an 18-month probation sentence in the latest case, according to court records. He has been...

Four suspects, including an Arkansas journalist, have been charged for firebombing police vehicles over the summer. Fox News reported that Renea Baek Goddard, 22, was part of a group that broke into a police compound in late August and threw Molotov cocktails at Little Rock Police Department vehicles. Outside the compound, protesters demonstrated as part of the racial protests that broke out after the May 25 police-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The Department of Justice issued a press release on December 17 announcing the charges following a months-long investigation into the incident.

President Trump on Saturday ramped up his criticism of Senate Republicans over their unwillingness to aid his efforts to overturn the election, pressing them to “fight” before President-elect Joe Biden is sworn into office. Trump called out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and other Republicans, asserting they are doing "NOTHING" as Congress heads toward a vote early next month to certify the Electoral College results. “If a Democrat Presidential Candidate had an Election Rigged & Stolen, with proof of such acts at a level never seen before, the Democrat Senators would consider it an act of war, and fight...

A look at the experts and the arguments that persuaded a government agency to prioritize 'equity' over saving lives. In 2015, Dayna Bowen Matthew, the dean of George Washington University Law School, published a paper concerning racial disparities in health care. She traced those disparities back to the Founding Fathers and argued their persistence today reflects the "structural violence" of American society. Matthew was 1 of 11 people who helped draft the Centers for Disease Control's ethical framework for allocating COVID-19 vaccines. She is also listed as a "health equity" consultant to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which voted...

Rush Limbaugh lamented on Wednesday that despite thirty years of unprecedented success on the radio, he has failed to persuade a clear majority of our countrymen of the correctness of the conservative philosophy. In fairness, he has created an army of converts. Rush also admitted that there is compelling evidence that this presidential election was stolen and that conservatives had an otherwise successful election cycle. His introspection followed a self-described Debby Downer caller. She asked the troubling question, what have all of our efforts really accomplished? It appears all is lost. It is a question we all ask occasionally. Particularly...

Doctors in the Netherlands are now permitted to secretly sedate patients who have dementia before euthanising them. New regulations say that in those cases where a patient has dementia and has previously requested euthanasia, “it is not necessary for the doctor to agree with the patient the time or manner in which euthanasia will be given.” The regulations are the result of a murder trial against a Dutch doctor, Marinor Arends, who gave her dementia patient sleeping pills without the patients knowledge, to stop her resisting, before administering a lethal injection. Before her dementia deteriorated, the patient had told medics...

What happened to the wood that made it that way in the beautiful petrified trees in the forests of Arizona? They believe that petrified wood is so old that in the prehistoric period it has emerged. But do you know how petrified wood was made? This guide will show you how. What is petrified wood and how is it formed? Fossil wood is considered to have grown when the material of the plant is buried by sediment. When the wood is buried deep in the muck, it is protected from decay caused by exposure to oxygen and organisms.

Polling suggests that 80% of those who voted in October’s assisted suicide referendum in New Zealand misunderstood what the law would actually do.In October, the ‘End of Life Choice Act’ became law through a binding referendum where 65.2% of voters supported the Act. New Orleans Police say a man walked into the store around 9:30 p.m. Hingel says soon after, shots flew. "The customer walked in, went over to the coolers, walked over and started coming behind the counter," he said. "Apparently the girl didn't get the money out fast enough and started shooting." However, another employee stepped in. "The cooler man pushed the girl on the ground and went behind the wall a bit and came out and told the man get on the floor," said Hingel. "And the guy started shooting at him again." The armed robber, who's name isn't yet...

We the People must take to the US Capitol lawn and steps and tell Congress #DoNotCertify on #JAN6! Congress cannot certify this fraudulent Electoral College. Our presence in Washington D.C. will let Members of Congress know that we stand with Rep. Mo Brooks and his colleagues in the House of Representatives who will bravely object to the certification of the Electoral College. We're in need of at least one Senator. We've identified six (seven including Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville) that could join our cause. StopTheSteal.us is working closely, whipping the vote up, with patriots in the Congress.

Source: Myra AdamsOur Bible study this Christmas Sunday concludes the “reason for the season” mini-series. We began with “Why Simeon Meeting the Baby Jesus Is So Profound,” Then stepped back and discussed, “Mary and Elizabeth, Both Miraculously Pregnant, Have a Visitation,” Followed by last week’s “Isaiah Foretells the Coming of Christ,” And now, “Why Jesus Was Born Jewish” – a “controversial” topic that necessitates me donning extra-strength body armor. But before some readers unleash poison arrows through cyberspace, here is a personal Jewish Christmas story that might help reduce the castigation and vitriol heading my way. As loyal readers know,...

Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, is grieving over, as CNN reporter Dana Bash put it, President Trump's "very firm grip on the Republican Party." Bash recently asked Romney whether he fears the party won't "be able to overcome Trumpism in the near future." Romney didn't object to Bash's negative characterization of Trumpism. He merely responded that he believes "Trump will continue to have a substantial influence on the party" and that those other than Trump who are rumored to be GOP presidential candidates in 2024 "are trying to appeal to kind of a populist approach."
