The powers that be in California’s Santa Clara County have forbidden contact sports—including San Francisco 49ers games, which will be held in Arizona—for the remainder of the season, due to rising Covid-19 cases. Such overreach in California’s sixth-largest county, justified by claims to enhance public safety, is ironic, given Santa Clara’s lax sanctuary policies, which have recently resulted in tragic deaths. Last month, a thrice-deported illegal immigrant with a long history of violent crime stabbed five people, killing two, John Paulson, 45, and Kimberly Susan Fial, 55, at the Grace Baptist Church in San Jose. The suspect, Fernando De Jesus...

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows made a surprise appearance at Georgia’s audit of absentee ballot envelope signatures Tuesday afternoon. The former Republican congressman from North Carolina was flanked by Secret Service agents as he arrived at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, where state officials were in the process of conducting signature verification on absentee mail-in ballots. He was not allowed in the room where officials were inspecting ballot envelopes, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Meadows had previously made headlines with a tweet Monday evening vowing to “fight back” against President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

The video is shocking. As Americans only begin to wake up to the reality of just how severely compromised their political leaders are by a communist superpower, Arizona Republican Gov. Doug Ducey’s alarmingly frank language resounds like thunderclaps. “We just had a great meeting with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce just now. And, very exciting, lots of opportunities, including public-private partnerships. I’ve mentioned semiconducters, electronics, aerospace, our defense industry, mining and ores that we do…. So I think from the franchise business to the aerospace and defense business, we would like to do more business with China, with Chinese business...

Speaking in West Palm Beach, Florida at a Student Action Summit organized by Turning Point USA, a major pro-Trump and conservative youth advocacy group, the vice president urged the crowd "to stay in the fight in our election." As our election contest continues, I’ll make you a promise, we’re going to keep fighting until every legal vote is counted. We’re going to keep fighting until every illegal vote is thrown out," Pence said, repeating a line he has used frequently as he has campaigned in recent weeks in the Georgia Senate runoff elections, where the Republican Senate majority’s at stake....

Stranded lorry drivers have clashed with police officers at Dover after the border with France was reopened this morning. Police and lorry drivers were said to be in a "stand-off" on Wednesday morning as tensions ran high at the port. Drivers were filmed jeering and booing at police and there were some scuffles after reports of delays to the border reopening. The Calais-Dover crossing was shutdown on Sunday evening over fears of a new highly-infectious Covid strain, leaving thousands of lorry drivers stranded before Christmas. More than 2,800 lorries have been stuck at the port after France stopped them crossing...

This past year was full of adversity and hopelessness for many around the world. But for we Palestinians, it was even harsher – we were forced to face a deadly pandemic in an apartheid state, amid a collapsing economy, and a general feeling of hopelessness and abandonment... In the second half of the year, a series of Arab states added to our collective misery by announcing their decision to normalise their relations with Israel. By effectively abandoning their supposed commitment to supporting Palestinian self-determination for money, weapons and a few short-term political gains, they sent us a clear message that...

CARACAS (Reuters) - The hush over Venezuela’s parliament at the start of proceedings last week was broken by background noise that would last throughout the session - the clatter of construction equipment remodeling the park where the legislature had convened. The Caracas park is among the few places opposition lawmakers can meet without being harassed by President Nicolas Maduro’s government, which not only banned them from congressional headquarters but pushed dozens of lawmakers into exile. The opposition legislators’ terms expire in two weeks and a new congress will convene after Maduro allies swept a Dec. 6 parliament vote boycotted by...

1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him...

On Monday, the British government confirmed to The Telegraph that Professor Ferguson is still advising the government after his name appeared on a list for a meeting of 15 members of the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (Nervtag) on December 18th. The Nervtag meeting attended by Ferguson concluded that a supposedly new variant of the Chinese coronavirus — which is believed to have been...

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) revealed Tuesday on MSNBC that she would like to see President Donald Trump “marched out” of the White House by either the military or Secret Service. Anchor Ayman Mohyeldin said, “I know there is a lot of Democrats counting down the ways. I wanted to read something Speaker Pelosi said about Trump. She said she’s counting down the hours until he’s gone. ‘I plan to pull him out of there by his hair, his little hands, and his feet.’ I’m curious to get your thoughts. Is that what a lot of Democrats are thinking right now...

President-elect Joe Biden outlined the priorities of his future administration on Tuesday, promising to unite Congress to address major challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic. “I think with Donald Trump not in the way, that will also enhance the prospect of things getting done,” Biden said at a press conference on Tuesday, suggesting that Republicans would be more willing to deal with him after he took office. Biden pointedly noted that he would take the opposite political tone that Trump did while trying to force Congress to pass important legislation.

Director of the bureau Christopher Wray and former head of DHS's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Chris Krebs were two of those singled out. Their pictures and addresses were posted to the 'Enemies of the People' site with targets placed over images. Others say they have received death threats.

President-elect Joe Biden said he still believed that the stories about son Hunter Biden's laptop were a Russian disinformation scheme, as he mocked the Fox News Channel reporter who asked about it. Fox's Peter Doocy yelled up to Biden after he took questions from more favorable outlets onstage at Wilmington's Queen theater Tuesday: 'Do you still think that the stories from the fall about your son is Russian disinformation and a smear campaign, like you said?'

Fox News host Tucker Carlson exclusively obtained shocking bodycam footage of police responding to an altercation between Georgia Democrat Senate candidate Raphael Warnock and his now ex-wife. The Georgia twin senate runoff is two weeks away and the public is just now seeing this bodycam footage from March of this year. Warnock’s wife is seen making an emotional plea to police officers, “I would like to file a report.” Warnock’s wife accused her estranged husband of running over her foot during a heated argument while he was trying to leave with their young children in the back seat. “This man...
