Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced new coronavirus restrictions Thursday and urged people of faith to stay out of their churches during the Christmas season. “This year, we need to think about what is truly the most important thing. Is it the worship or the building?” Northam said at a press conference. “For me, God is wherever you are. You don’t have to sit in the church pew for God to hear your prayers.” He urged faith leaders to “lead the way” and “set an example” for their communities.

It’s now clear that the Hunter Biden story was real, with Hunter himself acknowledging a federal probe into his taxes — one that reportedly began in 2018. Really, it was always clear. Yet, when The New York Post broke the details, virtually the entire journalistic establishment and left-wing punditsphere defamed the newspaper, claiming it was passing on Russian “disinformation” or partisan fabrications. The political media quickly began pumping out process stories about the alleged discord in The Post’s newsroom and about the problems with the reporting. In so doing, of course, they did practically no reporting on the substantive allegations...

Documents necessary to establish the chain of custody for more than 83% of the estimated 600,000 Georgia absentee ballots placed in drop boxes by voters and subsequently delivered to local election officials still have not been produced by state or county officials. Ten counties told the newspaper...

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney exchanged heated words Thursday after the senator held up the passage of a $740 billion defense bill over language that could delay the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Paul opposes a provision that would limit the president’s ability to withdraw troops deployed overseas, arguing the bill would create “535 commanders in chief.” The senator took aim at Cheney during a lengthy speech on the Senate floor, accusing the House Republican Conference chair of supporting executive power to start military conflicts but not to withdraw from them. “The neoconservative philosophy...

Most of them — but by no means all — have D’s after their names. December 10, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — Last night I went on Laura Ingraham’s show to talk about the Chinese spy who helped her lover get elected to Congress. It’s a spy story right out of the pages of Red Sparrow, the novel, later made into a movie, about Soviet-era sexpionage. The operative in question went by the name of Fang Fang which — fittingly, given her occupation — translates into “Fragrant” Fang. Axios reported that Fragrant was sent by the Chinese Ministry of State Security to...

A group of cyclists were riding and had a Subaru hatchback "safety car" assigned to trail them when they were hit about 9:30 a.m. on southbound U.S. Highway 95 near Mile Marker 36, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Travis Smaka. A southbound truck "entered into the group of bicyclists, some of them were traveling behind the safety vehicle, they were struck, the safety vehicle was also struck as well as some the bicyclists in front of the safety vehicle," Smaka said. The five cyclists were pronounced dead at the scene, south of Boulder City and north of Searchlight. One...

A judge on Thursday disqualified the St. Louis prosecutor and her office from the case involving Mark McCloskey, who along with his wife pointed guns at racial injustice protesters marching on the private street near their home in June. Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II dismissed Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, citing two campaign fundraising emails around the time she filed felony gun charges against the couple in July. “In short, the Circuit Attorney’s conduct raises the appearance that she initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes,” Clark wrote. The order applies only to Mark McCloskey and not his wife, Patricia, who...

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are Time’s 2020 Person of the Year, the magazine announced Thursday night. The President-elect and Vice President-elect beat out Donald Trump again, among other finalists. “Together, they offered restoration and renewal in a single ticket,” Charlotte Alter writes in Time’s piece about Biden and Harris. “And America bought what they were selling: after the highest turnout in a century, they racked up 81 million votes and counting, the most in presidential history, topping Trump by some 7 million votes and flipping five battleground states.”

TLM strength yet again recognized by New York Times It is always encouraging to see mainstream media observe the beauty and vibrancy of the traditional Latin Mass and its communities. The New York Times, which has previously cited the strength of the traditional Latin Mass in France, has done so again, this time within an observation that churches there are the only places to hear live music during coronavirus shutdowns:Every Sunday, St.-Roch, known as the “church of artists,” celebrates a Tridentine Mass, the traditional Latin Mass that was standard until the introduction of services in vernacular languages in the...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal judge Thursday cast doubt on President Donald Trump’s lawsuit that seeks to overturn Joe Biden’s win in Wisconsin, declaring it “incredible” that Trump didn’t raise the issues before the election and that siding with him would be “the most remarkable ruling in the history of this court or the federal judiciary.” Trump is pursuing extraordinary attempts to overturn Biden’s win with a pair of lawsuits in Wisconsin, in federal and state courts. In the state case, Trump wants to disqualify more than 221,000 ballots and in the federal case he wants to give the...

Rush Limbaugh has warned that the US is 'trending towards secession' because 'there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life' in one nation. The conservative radio host, 69, predicted that some states may soon break away from the rest of the US and declare independence, sparking the same set of circumstances that led to the American Civil War. His comments come as 18 states have joined Texas in launching Supreme Court legal action to toss out millions of votes in four battleground states in support of Donald Trump.
