It turns out that when you rake in millions from the ChiComs and crooked Ukrainian gas companies and don’t properly report it to the IRS, it actually raises some eyebrows. – Who could have known that? Certainly not Hunter Biden, who no doubt has just assumed that the fact that his Pop (you know, The Big Guy) is a card-carrying member of the DC Swamp, he’s grandfathered in under that same umbrella and thus immune to any action being taken against him by our fat, lazy Attorney General, William Barr and his do-nothing Department of Justice. And hey, no one...

More state attorneys general from other states are likely to join Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawsuit against four states – filed with the U.S Supreme Court on Tuesday – if the court agrees to hear the election-related case. Seventeen states filed a motion Wednesday backing Texas’ longshot legal effort to get the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn election results in four states that helped deliver the presidency to Democrat Joe Biden. Missouri’s attorney general filed the amicus brief in support of Texas, joined by counterparts from 16 other states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North...

The state of Ohio is placing an unofficial moratorium on capital punishment. In an interview Tuesday, Republican Gov. Mike DeWine (R) said he’s banning capital punishment until lawmakers find a more practical alternative to lethal injection. There are currently 136 inmates on death row in the state of Ohio. Twice in the past month, opponents of the death penalty have called on Ohio lawmakers to end the practice altogether.

Lee’s bill would close several fraud loopholes in the H-1B program, but it would also create a novel class of half-immigrants who will have permanent legal permission to work in the United States — but only temporary, short-term, permission to live in the United States. These non-resident workers are created by a clause in Lee’s bill that allows visa workers to get lifetime work permits just two years after their employer sponsors them for green cards. The visa workers could get the lifetime work permits just two years after starting a U.S. job — yet those work permits do not...

This is all happening so quickly, it is hard to keep up with everything. From another thread, I found that 17 states had joined the Texas lawsuit. What is the current count? Maybe we can keep track of them all in one place: Please post other states as they join. Here's what I have found so far: TEXAS, plus Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri,Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia

The garbage pile that is Fox News just lost for the first time to Newsmax TV. It was only one metric, during one day, during a single hour. What matters, though, is that had you predicted such a victory was possible even six weeks ago, you would have felt the hot breath of laughter in your stupid face. Well, who’s laughing now? LOL! The answer to that question has to be especially humiliating for the garbage pile that is Fox News, because who’s laughing now is Newsmax TV, me, and CNNLOL’s Brian “Tater” Stelter, who is laughing all over the...

Face shields aren’t really shielding much. A new study is the latest science casting doubt on plastic face shields in the fight against COVID-19. The study included a video to illustrate how a sneeze from a person infected with the coronavirus carries “vortex rings” of contagious particles under a face shield, rendering the PPE useless, according to the findings published by Fukuoka University researchers in Japan in the journal Physics of Fluids.

SEATTLE - Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan will not seek re-election, prompting what will likely be significant political posturing for the position and a 2021 city campaign season like no other. “I've decided that I will not seek a second term,” Durkan told KING 5. “2020 has just been a brutal year, but we have some really tough months ahead of us. We still have to fight COVID, we've got to deliver a vaccine, and we're gonna have a really hard job of rebuilding our economy, our downtown and continuing all the work on equity. Black Lives Matter-Antifa and other left-wing extremists have repelled police and created a new "autonomous zone” in north Portland to protect a house being illegally occupied by squatters. The protest erupted after police raided a house on Mississippi Avenue around 5 a.m. on Tuesday. For months, radical left-wing activists had been occupying the property known as the “Red House” to protect squatters who were legally served multiple eviction notices. The Portland Police Bureau assisted the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office this morning in initially clearing out the property. Police encountered resistance, including from a person with a firearm who was taken...

'Just because you're offended, it doesn't mean you're right' British comedian Ricky Gervais recently sounded off on cancel culture again, but vowed never to fall victim to the online shaming practice. The former Golden Globes host — who famously roasted Hollywood liberals during his opening monologue at the 2020 awards show and then refused to cave when the woke mob came for him — opened up about the dangers of cancel culture during an interview for the podcast, "SmartLess." At the start of the conversation, he expressed frustration with how comedians can have their livelihoods destroyed just because they say...

Natalie Portman is one of the few child stars who managed to stay on a good path and transition to a successful acting career as an adult. Being sexualized by Hollywood at a tender age, however, left the Oscar-winning Best Actress with scars according to a candid chat with Dax Shepard of “Parenthood” fame. In a new interview, the Black Swan actress reveals how coming of age in Hollywood – and coming out healthy on the other side – was far from easy for her. Natalie Portman says that being “sexualized as a child” actress by the media took a...
