Giuliani, Ellis, and others held a hearing in front of Pennsylvania State Republican senators on earlier, where they argued that the state legislature should take steps to reclaim the ability to appoint electors to the Electoral College. Witnesses who claimed they saw allegedly illegal or irregular vote-tabulation efforts in the Keystone State also offered statements. According to GOP members of the Arizona State Legislature, the hearing is designed “to gather the evidence that justifies...

============================================================== Little-understood black hole phenomena could be string-theory "fuzzballs," scientists say. The math is still emerging, but the right instruments could maybe detect the fuzzballs. Black holes are enigmatic and require a different kind of thinking in the first place. ============================================================ What if string theorists have been right all along, and black holes are just balls of yarn? These celestial rat kings, scientists say, represent a place where a huge bunch of fundamental strings have tangled together and can’t be extricated. This sounds far out, but we don’t understand a great deal about how black holes work to begin with....

More than a quarter of this censorship occurred between November 30 and December 7. A fresh study into Twitter’s mass censorship of President Trump over the last couple of years has revealed that tweets from Trump and his campaign have been restricted a staggering 436 times between May 31, 2018 and December 7, 2020. Many people in the UK are fearful of the imposition of WTO-allowed tariffs on future UK exports to the EU. As an American, this is somewhat of a mystery as American exports to the EU are already subject to EU-imposed WTO-level tariffs. There is no audible bellyaching whatsoever in the USA about EU-imposed WTO-level tariffs on American exports to the EU. To allay UK fears, I wish to point out that the effect of EU tariffs on the incomes of UK citizens could be offset by UK Treasury compensatory payments to impacted UK citizens paid out when they retire, financially...

I wish every American could attend a Trump rally. I attended a couple of them in Central Florida as a local media personality, but the Valdosta rally was the first time I got to hang around with with my people in the crowd. It was one of the most exciting and unique experiences you can imagine. Here’s what happened: On Sunday afternoon a friend of mine joined my wife and I on a road trip to Valdosta, Georgia, for the Victory Rally, featuring President Trump and Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. Both senators are in runoff elections against...

-- With numerous cruise lines suspending their 2021 seasons into spring – and in some cases, beyond -- is it possible that the companies are simply waiting to restart operations until a COVID-19 vaccine is widely available? It's a plausible theory, although no cruise line executive has said that publicly. As of early December, numerous lines have cancelled voyages into March and April, while some have postponed sailings into June and even the fall for select vessels. While the lines have cited the restart regulations put forward by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as the reason for...
