A Nevada hospital has resorted to treating coronavirus patients in its parking garage — as hospitalizations soar in the state.

Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno converted two floors of its parking garage into an alternative care site in early November to handle an overflow of COVID-19 patients if necessary.

Misleading headline. IF NECESSARY. Those beds do not like used. Guess this was for us being naughty on Thanksgiving and not staying in the bedroom with the door closed.

I don’t get the ‘surge’ in hospitalizations. What are people being hospitalized for? Do they get diagnosed and then run to the hospital? What are they suffering from (symptom wise) that requires hospitalization?

They never stated if they are actually used.

They do mention they’re for less sever cases. Implying people who seem sever will be in the hospital, and maybe mild cases briefly put in garage.

Reno Gazette reported a couple of weeks ago that four patients were being treated in the Renown overflow. The South Meadows Renown facility has adopted part of the third floor as the overflow for ICU.

If necessary which means not really. But maybe in the future. Let’s spend lots of money being ready so we can shear the sheep when they arrive. If they arrive.

As I understand it, $30,000.

You'd think the hospital would be generous to split some of that with the patients, but nooooooo. Greedy bass turds.

Normally, these questions would be the first sorts of things answered by someone performing journalism. However, what we're seeing isn't journalism - it's propaganda. Therefore, very little of it will make sense to the discerning individual. Too bad most people aren't very discerning.

No. We just haul the bodies to the nearest volcano caldera and drop them inside.

It is a tribute to Xenu the Scientology god.

He was unanimously chosen as the COVID-19 god of financially profitable diseases.

“Misleading headline. IF NECESSARY. Those beds do not like used. Guess this was for us being naughty on Thanksgiving and not staying in the bedroom with the door closed.”

I live in Reno, about 5 miles from Renown, where they converted part of their parking garage for supposed sick people. I know people who work there on a daily basis, and they basically said, the hospital does not want people coming inside their hospital if suspected with infection. So they set this makeshift garage up, and little to no one is in their garage. This is all to create fear and hysteria, and maybe the hospital is also making some extra dough from this! Pathetic!

“I don't get the ‘surge’ in hospitalizations. What are people being hospitalized for? Do they get diagnosed and then run to the hospital? “

http://market-ticker.org/cgi-ticker/akcs-www?post=240832

” this is the very same government that has not one, not two but three separate agencies — the CDC, FDA and NIH — that all state there is no effective early intervention therapy or prophylaxis for , if you get sick you should go home and wait until you choke before doing anything more than eating chicken soup despite that being a well-documented lie too.” They never clarify what the actual hospitalizations are for. Could be flu-related pneumonia, cardiac conditions that were never treated or even medical mistakes. All that counts is the BS PCR procedure turns up a "positive " and its CV-19. Once the condition worsens to require hospitalization then its all about the $$$ rather than trying early intervention or confirming it with a IgG/IgM test. People are being killed for political reasons.

What people do not understand that the number ICU beds in hospitals are restricted and it does not take much for capacity to be reached. A huge surge is not required for that to occur. Why are they restricted? I do believe “Certificate of Care” requirements play a role in this.

I think in some cases patients who are deemed high risk and who have symptoms (even before confirmation by testing) are being admitted to ICU where they can be better monitored and there is a lower patient nurse ratio.

Are you sure they don’t? Would guarantee a full house.

There are indeed prophylaxis and early pre hospitalization treatments for the virus. Why these are not expanded on when giving information to the public is downright criminal.
