VIDEONever in the history of American politics has someone sold out his supposed principles so easily as Bernie Sanders. In fact, Sanders sold out so easily that it is laughable. Even most on the left, rather than laughing about it, are outraged at the complete selling out by their erstwhile hero. At least in 2016, Sanders got a beach house in exchange for selling out. This year he didn't even get as much as a tool shed for that beach house. All Bernie got in exchange for selling out was a bunch of completely empty promises by Joe Biden's handlers....

FRiends, a year ago at this hour I was reporting live from the Remembrance Day observances at Pearl Harbor. This year... well... you know. But let’s take a moment to remember the tragedy and the courage that unfolded at Pearl Harbor 79 years ago today, and the triumph that ultimately ensued. As I do every year, I offer for your viewing my son’s 2017 Eagle Scout project video biography of USS Arizona survivor Lou Conter. Now there are only two. I’m happy to report our friend Mr Conter is hale and hearty and recently celebrated his 99th birthday. He vows...

FIRST SUPERSEDING INDICTMENT LOS ANGELES – In a superseding indictment unsealed today that adds new details to the criminal case alleging a widespread corruption scheme led by former Los Angeles City Councilman Jose Huizar, a federal grand jury has added five defendants, including former Los Angeles Deputy Mayor Raymond Chan, to the racketeering case that accuses Huizar and his close associates of illegally obtaining financial benefits from developers who, in exchange, sought favorable treatment on pending real estate development projects. After being arrested in June pursuant to a criminal complaint, Huizar, 52, of Boyle Heights, was charged in July in...

Today, we celebrate the ratification of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which abolished slavery in our country. One hundred and fifty-five years later, we remember the millions of souls unjustly subjected to the oppressive institution of slavery and recommit to pursuing the enduring promise of our Nation that all people have the God-given right to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” On December 6, 1865, Georgia became the 27th State to ratify the 13th Amendment, forever enshrining the end to slavery and all of its badges and incidents into our foundational governing document. This landmark moment in the...

President-elect Joe Biden has selected California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, The New York Times reported Sunday evening. Becerra emerged as a surprise frontrunner for the post in the past few days, sources familiar with the Biden transition told the Times. Multiple recent reports had listed New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy as leading contenders, but Grisham reportedly fell out of favor with the transition and Biden’s team announced last week that he would nominate Murthy to return to his old post.

Donald Trump plans to upstage Joe Biden's inauguration by exiting the White House via Marine One and flying on Air Force One to a rally in Florida where he will announce he is running for president again in 2024. The final use of presidential air travel and Florida rally would take place January 20, 2021, sources told Axios in a Monday report, the same day of Biden's inauguration. If carried out, this means speculation is true that after Trump snubbed Biden by refusing to concede the election, he then plans to further diss the former vice president by not attending...

A federal judge in Michigan has issued yet another withering opinion dismissing an effort by legal allies of President Donald Trump to overturn millions of votes in battleground Michigan. In a 36-page ruling, federal Judge Linda V. Parker finds the suit filed by Sidney Powell as part of her 'Kraken' lawsuits, lacks standing, proposes a remedy it is far too late to enforce – and critically undermines 'faith in the democratic process.' 'For these reasons, the Court finds that Plaintiffs are far from likely to succeed in this matter,' she wrote in a scathing concluding passage.

Biden said he urged Obama to 'follow your instincts on this one' despite initial hesitation President-elect Joe Biden came under fire earlier this year for denying his opposition to the 2011 raid that killed Usama bin Laden after previously claiming that he advised then-President Obama against it. But a new documentary appears to show Biden contradicting his original story again, with the former vice president claiming that while he suggested doing "one more pass" over the compound, he urged Obama to move forward with the raid and trust his instincts. "When it came time to go or not go, the...

The Republican poll watchers’ story matches this election night reporting perfectly. And it wasn’t just ABC that reported counting was being delayed. Many media outlets reported on counting delays. See, for example, “Fulton County stopped counting absentee ballots for the night.” Local NBC journalists on site that night independently confirmed “they were told counting was done for the night” and given no indication it would continue before the next morning. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution even reported of a “plan” to stop scanning ballots at the same time the poll watchers said things were shut down:A Big Tech-backed 'fact' 'checking' outfit claimed...

There are very few sightings these days of mountain lions, which once roamed all over the state, but evidence has convinced experts this is the first ever in Dallas County in modern history. For those who have long pooh-poohed the idea of a mountain lion roaming around North Texas, chew on this. A Rowlett woman recently posted on her Facebook page a trail camera video of a mountain lion walking down a dirt road at night. The spooky image showed a big cat with a long tail that touched the ground, a feature that distinguishes it from a bobcat for...

Time is running short for President Trump to claw back the fraudulent results of the rigged election and so far, he has been hung out to dry by the Justice Department. With each new irregularity, each damning video, and each wrenching piece of eyewitness testimony, the evidence piles up that the election was stolen, just as Trump said that it would be. In normal times, such fraud would be under the purview of the attorney general but these are not normal times, and William Pelham Barr has done a Jeff Sessions style disappearing act.....

The Las Vegas Raiders defeated the New York Jets 31-28 on Sunday afternoon. Up 28-24 with less than a minute remaining in the outing, New York punted the ball away to the Raiders. Las Vegas started off at their own 39-yard line with 42 seconds left and zero timeouts. First quarterback Derek Carr delivered a 15-yard strike to tight end Darren Waller, who subsequently spiked the ball. Then came an incomplete pass, which halted the proceedings. Finally, Carr found wide open rookie receiver Henry Ruggs to take a 30-28 lead. One extra point later and the Raiders found themselves walking...

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was shot dead in a convoy outside Tehran on 27 November. Brig-Gen Ali Fadavi told local media that the weapon, mounted in a pick-up truck, was able to fire at Fakhrizadeh without hitting his wife beside him. The claim could not be verified. The Iranian authorities have put out conflicting accounts of how the scientist was gunned down as he travelled in a car through the town of Absard. On the day of the attack, the defence ministry said there was a gunfight between Fakhrizadeh's bodyguards and several gunmen. In a speech at Fakhrizadeh's funeral, the head of...

Allies of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro won a majority of votes in a parliamentary election that saw scant participation due to a boycott by the opposition, which said Sunday’s event was a farce meant to consolidate a dictatorship. The elections council said that 67.6% of the 5.2 million votes cast in Sunday’s election went to an alliance of parties called the Great Patriotic Pole that backs Maduro – but that only 31% of eligible voters participated. Voting centers were left barren in an embarrassment to the ruling Socialist Party, but the results nonetheless return congress to Maduro’s control despite an...
