Miguel renounced everything for Christ his King and entered the Jesuit novitiate in El Llano, Michoacan in 1911. He studied in Mexico until 1914, when a tidal wave of anti-Catholicism crashed down upon Mexico, forcing the novitiate to disband and flee to the United States, where Miguel and his brother seminarians treked through Texas and New Mexico before arriving at the Jesuit house in Los Gatos, California. For some inexplicable reason, conservatives rush towards fratricide with the same kind of urgency that drives lemmings over the cliff. It’s what they do, even when it’s counterproductive and costly. Conservatism wasn’t made better off by the four-year campaign waged against Speaker Newt Gingrich by some House conservatives who considered him ideologically unreliable. It wasn’t helped by John Boehner’s premature departure from Congress, brought about by political headaches caused by House Republicans on his right flank. A small group of so-called purists on the right even crossed swords with President Ronald Reagan, without whom modern conservatism would have emerged stillborn...

The U.S. military is developing Navy destroyers to take out hypersonic missiles and a ship off the coast of Hawaii has successfully tested the potential innovation, according to Warren Maven editor Kris Osborn on Fox News. An “engage on remote” intercept of an ICBM test Nov. 16 was successful from ship-fired SM-3 IIAs, Osborn reported. “In this developmental test, the destroyer used engage-on-remote capabilities through the Command and Control Battle Management Communications network as part of a defense of Hawaii scenario,” a Missile Defense Agency statement read, per the report. “After receiving tracking data from the C2BMC system, the destroyer...

Harrison Ford, who has spoken publicly about the perils of climate change, was reportedly seen landing his private plane to pick up his son ahead of Thanksgiving. The Raiders of the Lost Ark star was snapped disembarking from the plane in the Boston area on Saturday to pick up his son Liam from college for the holiday break, according to a report from the Daily Mail. The actor appeared to disregard the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation that Americans avoid traveling for Thanksgiving due to the coronavirus.

Due to the irregularity of this current 2020 Presidential Election, this is a crowdsourcing tool for organizing anomalies and legal issues. Our desire is that more of the election process would be made transparent so there would be unquestionable confidence in our voting systems. This is for aggregating publicly available items of evidence that would be admissible in court, not general election news stories or updates.

Ray Charles might have sung “Georgia on My Mind,” but Georgia has been on everybody’s mind from Election Day on. Following a hand recount of presidential votes, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp certified the election results late Friday. The hand recount affirmed Georgia’s election results, and as reported by the Associated Press, “No individual county showed a variation in margin larger than 0.73%, and the variation in margin in 103 of the state’s 159 counties was less than 0.05%, a memo released with the results says.”Georgia’s certified results showed Biden beating Trump by 12,670 votes out of about 5 million cast, or...

A man accused of breathing on anti-Trump protesters outside the president's golf club in Sterling, Virginia, was charged with misdemeanor assault. Kathy Beynette told News4 that she and another woman were protesting President Trump outside the Trump National Golf Club on Saturday. Across the street, a group of Trump supporters were counter protesting. "Then, quite out of nowhere, the guy came over from across the street, came charging across the street,” Beynette said. She captured video of the man, wearing a Trump t-shirt and a pool float with Trump's likeness around his waist, confronting them. In the video, a woman...

They're headed straight for the Australian outback, and they're due to land on Sunday, December 6. They've come from an ancient asteroid, older than the planets themselves, and in past eras, objects like it helped make the Earth into the living planet it is today. Those pieces of an asteroid are safely stored inside a spacecraft, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Hayabusa2. If all goes to plan, their impact onto the Woomera Testing Range will be a gentle one. It will be the second time anybody has successfully returned a sample from an asteroid, and the first time one...

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for a "global mechanism" that would use QR codes to open up international travel."We need to further harmonize policies and standards and establish 'fast tracks' to facilitate the orderly flow of people," he said. The codes will be used to help establish a traveller's health status. But Human Rights advocates warn that the codes could be used for "broader political monitoring and exclusion".

Romero said people who have been vaccinated will be tracked. “Every person that gets immunized will get a card, and they will be entered into our vaccine registry database. We will be able to follow them and know who has been vaccinated and what vaccine they need to receive in the second dose,” Romero said. https://twitter.com/i/status/1330163081624817664

I'm working family genealogy and found a photo of my great grandparents and family. That's my grandfather at upper right. The little girl between great grandma and great grandpa was born January 1924 and she appears about 4 or 5 years old here, so I'm guessing the photo was taken in the summer of 1928 or 1929. Can you help me figure out what their automobile is? I'm guessing it is a 1928 - 1931 Ford Model A Slant Windshield because of the three windows on the side and the suicide door hinges. Here's somebody's 1931 Ford Model A Slant...

By Olivia Gans Turner, President, Virginia Society for Human Life (VSHL) For months VSHL has being alerting you to the very real threat of a “Right to Abortion Amendment” working through the General Assembly process. Well now we have learned that Virginia is not the only target state for the pro-abortion groups’ plans to create “safe haven” states where they could perform abortions with no life-saving regulations of any kind in the future. On October 20th a similar version of the bill was introduced by pro-abortion legislators in the New Jersey Assembly. The bill is every bit as radical in...

While we wait for final vote counts in the race for President and several House races too close to call, it’s clear that the Senate will be a crucial firewall for the pro-life movement to block the pro-abortion agenda that would be pushed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats and promoted by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, if this pro-abortion duo wins the election. As it stands, Republicans will hold 50 seats to the Democrats’ 48. These numbers underscore the critical importance of the two Georgia Senate runoff elections. Under Georgia law, if a single candidate does not secure...

President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn Democrat Joe Biden's vote totals are "inconsistent with our democratic process," Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowki said on Sunday, emphasizing that "it is time to begin the full and formal transition process," Axios reported. The Alaska senator became one of the few congressional Republicans to acknowledge Biden as the "president-elect," as the Trump campaign continues its legal efforts to challenge the results in key swing states that gave the former vice president the victory in the election.

Chicago, IL – The Near North Planned Parenthood in Chicago, Illinois, has once again demonstrated just how unsafe abortions really are. For the twenty-second time in the past five years an ambulance was called to that Planned Parenthood facility, located in an urban minority neighborhood on North LaSalle Drive. The most recent known incident took place on July 10, 2020, according to a 911 call recording and Computer Aided Dispatch printout provided to Operation Rescue by the Pro-Life Action League. “You know what? We have a patient here who’s just bleeding excessively,” the Planned Parenthood caller told a 911 dispatcher...
