First, my qualifications. I've written over a million lines of code in the last 42 years, including nationwide systems for companies whose names you would recognize instantly. I have been granted quite a few patents on systems containing software and algorithms for solving real-world problems. This is my job and life, and I do it five or more days a week, sometimes lying awake at night designing those systems and algorithms in my head while the hours tick by. Ask my wife. There are many, many engineers like me in the U.S., engineers who do this because they love it....

In a late-night twist, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers unanimously agrees to certify the results, on the condition Secretary of State’s office conduct a comprehensive audit of the unexplained, out-of-balance precincts across the county. Wayne county certifiers refused to sign off on election results but changed course because within minutes they were doxxed, threatened, and CNN/Politico labeled them racists. I'm a conservative, and I guess I should be writing a column about my great distress resulting from this election. But I'm not going to write that column, because it's not what I feel. I'm actually quite upbeat and optimistic about the country that I love. With all my genuine, and legitimate, concerns about the chaos and violence that have ravaged many of our urban areas, about the strident rhetoric dominating our media, with its grossly distorted message about what is happening in America, when it came time to vote, American democracy prevailed. Not only did Americans vote in turnout...

Has anyone else noticed this? Most likely insignificant, but does set my spidey senses tingling. Just add it to the list of odd occurrences related to this election.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17 (King James Version) For four years America heard from the Establishmedia and their partners in the Communist Party about the sanctity of the vote and how Trump had stolen the election. They cried about the stealing of the election with the aid of Putin and the Russians how they convinced Hillary voters to vote for Trump through some inferred force they had over the American people. There never was a stitch of evidence other than the fake dossier Hillary paid for saying prostitutes peed on a bed Barak slept...

Johannesburg, South Africa - A massive ship called the RV Polarstern spent 389 days drifting slowly across the Arctic, trapped in ice. It was a scientific mission on an unprecedented scale, and the people who took part say their findings should serve as a warning that if action isn't taken, humans in every corner of the world will pay the price. Just before she set sail more than a year ago, Rhode Island native Dr. Alison Fong told CBS News that she and her colleagues on the Polarstern were "looking at creating a whole picture of what the Arctic is...

The coronavirus crash has completely impoverished New York City’s huge illegal-migrant population, so it needs a bailout from billionaires, says a far left group of open border activists. The advocacy group, Make the Road NY, wants to raise $5.5 billion from 120 New York billionaires to provide roughly $750 per week in aid for up to 1.2 million illegal migrants and their dependents. Numerous Democratic legislators back the campaign.

New York City’s system of “screening” applicants to elite public high schools based on their grades, test scores, attendance records and other criteria violates federal law by disproportionately keeping Black and Latino students out of the coveted schools, a new federal complaint alleges. Student advocacy group Teens Take Charge argues in a complaint set to be filed Monday to the U.S. Education Department that the lower admissions rates for Black and Latino students to the selective high schools show the selection rules have a discriminatory effect — even if the rules appear neutral on the surface... ...The complaint asks the...

The first question the fawning Scott Pelley of 60 Minutes asked former president Barack Obama during their interview this past Sunday was this: “What is your advice in this moment for President Trump?” Pelley was referring specifically to Trump’s continued challenge to the posted results of the November 3rd election. “When your time is up, then it is your job to put the country first and think beyond your own ego and your own interests and your own disappointments,” Obama pontificated. “My advice to President Trump is if you want, at this late stage in the game to be remembered...

As with pretty much all problems, more government is not the solution. The Big Government solution of forgiving student loans would just create more problems. Forgiving student loans is unfair; it rewards bad behavior and punishes good behavior. Forgiving student loans is impractical; it would be too expensive and there are too many questions that would have to be answered. And, most of all, forgiving student loans is just a bad idea. There are better solutions. The left will always clamor for more government. Especially in cases like this one where the problems are a lack of responsibility or leftist...

"DEFUND THE POLICE" AND THE DAMAGE DONE: Remember the debate over the meaning of the phrase "defund the police"? Repeated over and over on the progressive left, it seemed pretty clear -- it meant that cities should no longer fund, and thus effectively abolish, their police forces. But some Democrats worried that embracing such a radical proposal might hurt them politically, so they suggested that it actually meant re-directing some, but not all, funds from police to things like mental health treatment and affordable housing. Nothing too radical. Every time Democrats thought they had limited the political damage done by...

I discovered this series titled “What the Progressive Socialist Liberals Have in Store for Conservatives” only yesterday, and I read all six parts in a row non-stop. This is a masters-degree-level course on the history and lessons of government-sponsored genocide. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Some of the many embedded images are gut-wrenching, but this lecture series does not hold back any punches. The hosting website permits you to save these lectures as PDF files, and I recommend that you do so. The powers-that-be in the coming years will not want people to be armed with this knowledge. This...

Sen. Lindsey Graham says he was simply “saying hello” to Vice President-elect Kamala Harris when he fist-bumped her on the Senate floor. The friendly exchange was caught on video during a Tuesday vote on a Federal Reserve nominee — despite Graham’s claims of voter fraud in the election. “Just saying hello. I haven’t seen in her in a while,” the key ally of President Trump told CNN’s Manu Raju. “If it works out and they make it, I told her I wish her well and try to work where we can. We will know here in a month or so...

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Monday that his administration is considering a statewide curfew amid a surge in COVID-19 cases. Daily COVID-19 cases have doubled in California over the last 10 days, forcing the governor's office to pull "an emergency brake," Newsom said at a press conference detailing the state's response. A total of 41 of California's 58 counties are now classified as "purple," the tier of COVID-19 related spread requiring the strictest lockdown guidelines. Just 13 counties were classified "purple" last week. ...Newsom said his team is reviewing studies from France, Germany and Saudi Arabia on the “efficacy of...

Efram Zimbalist must be turning in his grave. I'm watching last night's episode of the FBI TV series. It is set in New York City, which in real life is being tor apart by left wing local politicians and their BLM and Antifa friends. Who are the bad guys in the series? A white supremacist group with a patriotic name. This series is off my list.
