The NBA, however, fears that starting the season even in January could cost the league anywhere from $500 million to $1 billion in lost revenue, according to ESPN. Now, a multibillion dollar entity like the NBA might normally be able to weather losses even that substantive, if only for a year. RELATED: NBA Legend Named Special Reserve Sheriff's Deputy Things get a little hairier, however, when factoring in the great unknown of when fans will be allowed back en masse. Without that vital gate revenue, ESPN noted that projections have the NBA losing another $4 billion. That’s a potential loss...

Trump Train around the Baltimore beltway today! Went with husband and son and the FB page gives most of the pix and vids. Estimated about 50 cars. It started as a lousy weather day. Never got better than overcast but at least when we got on last half there was no rain anymore. Also, Raven-Steeler game going on so there was that "problem"!

When the Trump administration gave a well-connected Republican donor seed money to test a possible COVID-19-fighting blood plasma technology, it noted the company's “manufacturing facilities” in Charleston, South Carolina. Plasma Technologies LLC is indeed based in the stately waterfront city. But there are no manufacturing facilities. Instead, the company exists within the luxury condo of its majority owner, Eugene Zurlo. Zurlo's company may be in line for as much as $65 million in taxpayer dollars; enough to start building an actual production plant, according to internal government records and other documents obtained by The Associated Press. The story of how...

Two Republican Senate chairman said on Sunday they will not at this time subpoena Hunter Biden to ask the son of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden about his family's foreign business dealings, including with shady Chinese businessmen. Appearing in the first of back-to-back interviews on Sunday Morning Futures on Fox News, two days before Election Day, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham deflected by saying the matter falls under the jurisdiction of Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson. When Johnson appeared minutes later, the Wisconsin Republican said he wanted more documentation and witness interviews before seeking a subpoena. Both senators...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—As the Senate hearing on Big Tech went down today, an awkward moment ensued after the senators accidentally video-called Tom Anderson from MySpace. "Hey, guys, what's up!" Tom said as the horrified senators, who had been attempting to call Mark Zuckerberg, tried to hang up. "Long time, no talk! What's goin' on? Guys? Guys?" "I knew you guys would call back one day. I mean, I haven't been, like, waiting by the phone or anything like that, but it was always in the back of my head. Do you guys want to grab some lunch or something? I just...

Last night was the first Halloween with a blue moon for over three-quarters of a century, and visible in every American state, unless yours is in serious lockdown and your apartment is facing the wrong way. What's the expression? "This comes along once in a blue moon"? Pocket that for a Tuesday-night surprise, if you're a cable pundit. My deployment of the phrase two days out is for purely musical pleasure, from one of Rodgers & Hart's biggest hits: Act One You gulp your coffee and run Into the subway you crowd Don't breathe - it isn't allowed... Doesn't ring...

I’d come back [from campaigning] too tired to talk to [my wife, Neilia]," freshman Senator Joe Biden bragged to Kitty Kelley in a 1974 interview. "I might satisfy her in bed but I didn’t have much time for anything else." Because every woman just loves silent wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am. Not! That was perhaps the most loathsome statement Joe made during the interview but there were plenty more toe-curling moments. His greed, his temptation towards corruption and his ambition to install himself in the White House were already apparent in 1974. Oh yes! This is a long, long con. Before there was Joe...

One of the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter chapter in New York was arrested this weekend ... and the takedown is on video. Hawk Newsome was on the front lines of a protest in NYC Sunday, where BLM demonstrators were reportedly facing off with Trump supporters in the streets ... with cops in riot gear in the mix as well. At one point, Newsome came face-to-face with several officers. In the clip, it looks like he has his hands up and isn't resisting or posing an immediate threat before a bunch of cops force him to the ground in...

Former Vice President Joe Biden doubled down on his calls to ban “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines and to institute other gun controls on the final Sunday of his 2020 presidential campaign. Biden’s campaign wrote on his officialvTwitter account: “As president, I’ll ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, implement universal background checks, and enact other common-sense reforms to end our gun violence epidemic.” Breitbart News reported that Biden’s proposals not only contain a ban on the future manufacture of AR-15s and other firearms the Democrats label “assault weapons” but also a provision that could require every AR-15 rifle to...

Rep. Maxine Waters of California appeared on “The Joe Madison Show” on SiriusXM on Friday, and called black voters who plan to vote for President Donald Trump “shameful.” “I don’t even know where any blacks would be coming from that would be voting for Trump,” she said. “It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump. I don’t know why they would be doing it. I don’t know why it is on their minds.” Waters also seemed to express a lack of confidence in the polls. “But if we don’t turn out this vote and turn...

Former Second Lady Jill Biden and the family of George Floyd stopped in Tallahassee on Sunday to rally support among Black Floridians on the final day of early voting in Florida. Speaking to hundreds of Democratic supports on the footsteps of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, near Florida’s Capitol, Biden encouraged a last-minute turnout for her husband, former Vice President Joe Biden. “This is it. There are no do-overs,” Biden said. “If we win here, there is no stopping us.” **SNIP** “My brother’s life, my brother’s blood, is on the ballot,” Bridget Floyd said. Biden spoke of the racial injustice...

Ignore the polls. They are all put out by those who give you RussiaGate, Global Warming, and Covid Panic. These polls are not miscalculations. They are pure propaganda from proved liars. Here's reasons why I think Trump's victory going to be epic. 1. Counted early vote trends are in favor of Republicans. R's are already farther ahead in Florida than they were at this time in 2016. Gaslighting polls still show Biden ahead. 2. Campus voter outreach is mostly shut down due to covid. This has always been one of the most lucrative voter outreaches of the dems. 3. Black...

From the Post: By contrast, former vice president Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala D. Harris have consistently worn masks in public, and have held socially distanced events. When two people around Harris tested positive for the coronavirus in October, she canceled travel for several days. Asked about the difference between their approaches, Fauci said Biden's campaign "is taking it seriously from a public health perspective." Trump, Fauci said, is "looking at it from a different perspective." He said that perspective was "the economy and reopening the country."

Ivanka Trump, White House senior adviser and first daughter, has reportedly raised tens of millions of dollars for her father’s reelection -- even breaking former President Obama’s single-day fundraising record at a Texas stop in September. Last week – the final full week before the election – Trump, 39, raised $13 million at three California fundraisers and another in Detroit, The Hill reported. Within 9 fundraisers hosted by Ivanka Trump, she banked more than $35 million, a White House official told Fox News....

Explanation: What's happening at the center of the Trifid Nebula? Three prominent dust lanes that give the Trifid its name all come together. Mountains of opaque dust appear near the bottom, while other dark filaments of dust are visible threaded throughout the nebula. A single massive star visible near the center causes much of the Trifid's glow. The Trifid, cataloged as M20, is only about 300,000 years old, making it among the youngest emission nebulas known. The star forming nebula lies about 9,000 light years away toward the constellation of the Archer (Sagittarius). The region pictured here spans about 10...

While remaining true to the show’s original premise, its tone and tempo vary significantly from the ‘Supermarket Sweep’ of a generation ago. The world contains so many examples of the old cliché that one person can make a difference. One of the more recent happens to air Sunday nights on ABC.“Supermarket Sweep,” a game show originally created in the 1960s that featured a popular 1990s relaunch, has returned for another reboot. While remaining true to the show’s original premise, its tone and tempo vary significantly from the “Supermarket Sweep” of a generation ago—due in large part to the show’s latest...
