Former Vice President and current Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden raised eyebrows when he made the solemn proclamation that “America is dead because of COVID-19” at a drive-in campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday. Biden warned that Americans will face a “dark winter” during the final presidential debate. He reiterated the message on Friday. “I think it’s up to thirty-thousand people have died. America is dead because COVID-19 [CCP virus],” Biden said. “Nearly one thousand seven hundred dead right here in Iowa.” Biden went on to repeat his signature phrase “we choose hope over fear.” Video below:...

Actor Sean Connery, the big screen’s first and most revered James Bond, has died, his family said Saturday. He was 90 years old. Connery died peacefully in his sleep in the Bahamas, having been “unwell for some time,” his son told the BBC. Best known for his seven turns as Bond, beginning with 1962’s “Dr. No,” the Scottish-born Connery freed himself from agent 007’s debonair typecast to play myriad other roles across a decades-long career filled with accolades, including an Oscar, two BAFTA awards and being named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999.

MADISON, WI — Does Gov. Tony Evers have a plan in case Election Day gets rough? It doesn’t appear so. Here’s your first indication: The Wisconsin Homeland Security Council, responsible for advising the governor on emergency preparedness, hadn’t met since December 2019. The council finally met Tuesday afternoon. And after a 10-month hiatus, bureaucratic members seemed more concerned about health care “equity” and climate change than they were about the potential for intimidation at the polls — or rioting in Wisconsin’s city streets following the election. The question of the National Guard’s involvement did come up. Council members were told...

"All Scripture is . . . profitable for . . . training in righteousness" (2 Tim. 3:16). God’s Word nourishes your spiritual life. We conclude our study of the character and benefits of God's Word by focusing on the benefit that ties all the others together: training in righteousness. Everything the Word accomplishes in you through teaching, reproof, and correction is aimed at increasing your righteousness so you'll "be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Tim. 3:17, NIV). "Training" refers to training or educating a child. The New Testament also uses the term to speak of chastening, which is...

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works” (145:8-9). If asked if you are a merciful person, you would probably answer, “I think I am merciful. To the best of my ability, I sympathize with those who suffer. I try to help others and when people hurt me, I forgive them and don’t hold a grudge.” All true Christians have a good measure of mercy for the lost and hurting, certainly, and that’s something to be thankful for....

“On this national day of remembrance we pause to honor the memory of every American life so egregiously taken from us by criminal illegal aliens,” the statement, emailed to reporters on Friday night, reads. “We solemnly stand with their families — our Angel families — who have endured what no American family should ever have to suffer.”

Disney specializes in bringing imagination to life, but its latest innovation takes this idea one step further – a robot designed with a realistic and interactive stare. The company’s imagineers unveiled a skinless humanoid animatronic bust, complete with movable eyes, eyelids and brows to create a human-like gaze. The robot is fitted with a chest-mounted sensor that uses motion detection to determine when a guest is attempting to engage, which activates a series of motors that control interactions. The engineers recently published a study titled ‘Realistic and Interactive Robot Gaze,’ in which they write: ‘We present a general architecture that...

A new book by Dr. Walid Phares, titled The Choice: Trump vs Obama Biden in US Foreign Policy is getting attention in Washington, D.C. and around the world. Released in late September, it stands alone as a definitive discussion and analysis of foreign policy and national security within a loud and crucial presidential election season which seems determined to focus only on domestic issues, personas, and inflammatory accusations. In The Choice, Phares examines the shifts in foreign policy that occurred during the Obama-Biden administration between 2009 and 2016, analyzes these shifts in strategy, and highlights the domestic and geopolitical consequences....

The phone call in March from President Donald Trump's adviser carried an urgent message. For days Trump had touted the off-label use of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine as a potential cure for covid-19, despite a lack of scientific evidence it worked and amid mounting concerns about the dangers to patients with underlying medical conditions.

For the past half decade, Europe has acted as a preview of coming attractions in American politics. The reaction to the confluence of immigration and terrorism on the continent foreshadowed the direction the Republican Party would take under Donald Trump. The surprise victory of "Leave" in the Brexit referendum hinted at Trump's unexpected elevation to the presidency. The terrible images from coronavirus-stricken Italy last March offered a glimpse into New York City's future. This week, when Italian authorities reimposed curfews, restrictions on business, and bans on communal gatherings, violent protests broke out in Turin, Milan, and Naples. Consider it a...

Longtime presidential ally and GOP operative Roger Stone will campaign with Rep. Doug Collins in Georgia on Monday in an effort to boost the Republican's Senate bid. Collins’s appearance with the right-wing provocateur and Trump ally on the eve of Election Day comes as he looks to shore up conservative support in the Peach State. The GOP lawmaker is locked in a tight race against incumbent Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R) as well as Democrat Rafael Warnock for a chance to finish Sen. Johnny Isakson’s (R) term. The jungle contest allows multiple candidates to face off regardless of party, and if...

Oh, those pesky laptop computers, and the problems they create for corrupt politicians in election years! Just two or three weeks prior to the Presidential election in 2016, it was files on the Anthony Weiner laptop that became public as the subject of an FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton, which helped seal defeat in her 2016 Presidential bid. This year, less than two weeks before the 2020 Presidential election, information retrieved from the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop revealing international money laundering and politically corrupt deals struck with the Chinese using the Biden name -- with new details...

Emotional extortion seems to be more widely and openly practiced these days. Just when I thought it couldn't get much worse, a young woman on TikTok proudly displayed the story of how she and her five sisters had "intense exchanges" with her terminally ill father. Her problem was that he was conservative and planned to vote for Trump. She explained — on index cards to background music — that the talks were hard because "we'll almost certainly lose him in the next few weeks/months." In the end, the father told them that he voted "for Biden-Harris 2020." The gushing daughter...
