The Federal Government has ordered U.S. Customs and Border Protection to seize all shipments of stevia, a plant extract used to sweeten beverages and other foods: After an investigation, CBP said it had determined that Inner Mongolia Hengzheng Group Baoanzhao Agriculture, Industry and Trade Co. (Baoanzhao) used convict, forced, or indentured labor to produce stevia extracts and derivatives, the agency said in a statement on Oct. 20. It added that those products are being, or are likely to be, imported to the United States. I love stevia, and this may hurt, especially early in the morning. But Customs seems quite certain...

Whether the issue is “Climate Change” or ways of dealing with COVID-19 the Radical Left ridicules anyone who would dare to question their positions on critical issues. They accuse those who question them or their claims of not believing in science. Consider the Yahoo News report that AOL posted on October 26, 2020, Bill Gates slams Trump's COVID-19 adviser as 'pseudo-expert' who's 'off-the-rails' which began with this excerpt: In a new interview, billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates sharply criticized the Trump administration for muzzling experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) while instead listening to White House...

As if racial issues werenÂ’t contentious enough, the debate surrounding Black Lives Matter (BLM) is rife with controversy. Half-truths and misinformation continue to dominate the national conversation. Consequently, we will explore each of these three components separately, including how they differ and how they overlap. But first, to provide...

A high court in Pakistan, ruling against a Catholic family whose 13-year-old daughter was allegedly abducted by a 44-year-old Muslim man, validated the girl’s marriage to her reported abductor. “Arzoo Raja had been taken from outside her home on October 13 and two days later, as the family searched for her, police announced that they had received marriage papers claiming that Arzoo was 18 and that she had converted to Islam to marry her 44-year-old abductor, Ali Azhar,” The Catholic Herald reports, adding, “The family were able to provide the authorities with an official birth certificate proving Arzoo was 13.”...

CHICAGO — Gov. J.B. Pritzker keeps telling Illinoisans that his coronavirus mitigation efforts are guided by science. "Science twice removed" might be closer to the truth, public records show. After combing though hundreds of pages of emails and a confidential coronavirus report obtained through the spoils of another man's Freedom of Information request, the big takeaway is that scientists advising Pritzker say coronavirus test positivity rates that guide his pandemic response are unreliable.

A Colorado ballot initiative aimed at banning late-term abortions in most circumstances has an uncertain future, with a recent poll labeling its fate “too close to call.” Colorado voters will vote on Proposition 115, which if approved will ban abortions after 22 weeks’ gestation except in the event of a life-threatening medical emergency for the mother. In a report released earlier this month, the American Politics Research Lab at the University of Colorado, Boulder found that 45% of voters opposed Proposition 115, while 41% said they supported it, and 14% were unsure. The report labeled the likely success or failure...

On Sunday, Claudine Aoun Roukoz — head of the National Commission for Lebanese Women and a prominent personality in the country — said that if Israel and Lebanon were to resolve issues involving borders and Palestinian refugees, “I do not mind that the Lebanese state makes peace with Israel…. Are we required to remain in a state of war? I do not have an ideological dispute with anyone, but my dispute is political.†Roukoz has been expressing such views on Lebanon’s national TV. Back on September 24, she wrote: “We all support the principle of peace and I hope to...

VIDEO AT LINK............ Hillary Clinton — Pelosi ready to unleash liberal tsunami after Biden win “I think we’re going to have to move quickly. And one of the areas we’ll have to move quickly on is the courts. We’re gonna have to move quickly on everything, election reform, climate change, COVID relief, expanding healthcare, everything that we care about.” “So let’s see what happens. But, you know, I’ve told the Obama campaign, I mean, the Obama — I’ve told the Biden campaign and the Biden transition, that they’re going to have to move really fast because let’s assume we take...

In August, Russian President Vladimir Putin ballyhooed the world’s very first coronavirus vaccine. The serum had yet to run through stage 3 trials but Putin assured the world it was safe and effective. So where is it? The number of infections in Russia is spiking, the dead are piling up, and lockdowns that had already been in place have been extended. On Wednesday, the Russian government imposed a nationwide mask mandate. You would think that if the vaccine was safe and effective, Russia would have been dosing thousands of front-line health workers and other essential employees. Instead, vaccine distribution appears to...

Coming off the worst quarter in history, the U.S. economy grew at its fastest pace ever in the third quarter as a nation battered by an unprecedented pandemic started to put itself back together. Third-quarter gross domestic product, a measure of the total goods and services produced in the July-to-September period, expanded at a 33.1% annualized pace, the Commerce Department reported Thursday in its initial estimate for the period. That came after a 31.4% plunge in the second quarter and was better than the 32% estimate from economists surveyed by Dow Jones. The previous post-World War II record was the...

I’m not at liberty to reveal my sources, but I have obtained a draft of President Joe Biden’s inaugural address. (Trump, unfortunately, won’t be there to hear it. He will be holding a competing rally at RFK Stadium, also starting at 12 noon on Jan. 20.) ** ** ** *** EXCLUSIVE CONTENT! This is the sort of story you shouldn’t watch just before turning in for the night. Documents gone missing in mid-stream - how did that happen? While it was clear this was a targeted theft I, like the “major overnight shipper,” had no clue how it was pulled off. As often happens in these circumstances, Sundance has a theory, apparently based on personal experience. So here’s what I think took place. The package, likely a Fed-X delivery, was intercepted by FBI agents using mechanisms for tracking and surveillance that open targeting through portals connected to DHS. As an outcome of the...

After 2016, it’s hard to have a lot of faith in the polls, so the question is, how do we assess the state of the race? In 2016, most state polls were as bad as national polls, and cherrypicking specific polls isn’t a great option either, as it lends itself to confirmation bias. So, in many ways, the best thing we can use to judge the state of the race is to analyze early-voting statistics. According to Gallup 62 percent of Democrat and 28 percent of Republican voters plan to vote early this year when they otherwise have been only...

Supporters of President Donald Trump are being targeted in Coronado, California with yard signs reading, “Racism Lives Here” that are designed to mimic Trump/Pence lawn signs. Several residents had the signs placed on their lawns or gates in the small island community, often where Trump signs or flags had already been displayed.
