Greeting Ignatius, who is also called Theophorus, to the Church of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, which is at Philadelphia, in Asia, which has obtained mercy, and is established in the harmony of God, and rejoices unceasingly in the passion of our Lord, and is filled with all mercy through his resurrection; which I salute in the blood of Jesus Christ, who is our eternal and enduring joy, especially if [men] are in unity with the bishop, the presbyters, and the deacons, who have been appointed according to the mind of Jesus Christ, whom He has established...

President Trump followed through after tweeting that he will publish an “unedited preview” of his "60 Minutes" sitdown to show viewers that the interview was a “vicious attempted ‘takeout’” by correspondent Lesley Stahl when he posted a portion of the interview on Facebook Thursday. “I will soon be giving a first in television history full, unedited preview of the vicious attempted ‘takeout’ interview of me by Lesley Stahl of @60Minutes,” Trump wrote. “Watch her constant interruptions & anger. Compare my full, flowing and ‘magnificently brilliant’ answers to their ‘Q’s.’” “60 Minutes” did not immediately respond to a request for comment....

PHOENIX — Maricopa County has already surpassed its previous early voting record, with more than 900,000 early votes cast since October 7. Thursday, 48 new vote centers opened across the valley, leading to more than 11,000 votes cast-in person in one day. Maricopa County data show more Democrats have cast their ballots so far this election season than registered Republican voters. Nearly 324,000 Republicans have voted early to date, versus nearly 379,000 registered Democrats. Another 225,000 voters have cast their ballots, including voters with no party affiliation. More than 45% of voters on the permanent early voting list have returned...

in my view, President Trump’s performance was measured, on message, and controlled. Thus, for any remaining undecided voters and Republican-oriented voters who may have been discouraged by the president’s chaotic first debate, Trump’s performance Thursday night likely reassured them and may even have led some to resolve to cast ballots in his favor. Moreover, the president’s performance reinforces an argument I made in a Fox News op-ed earlier this week: that Biden is ahead, but his victory is not a forgone conclusion. And make no mistake, it is within the realm of possibility that Trump will stage a comeback that...

In Thursday's debate, Joe Biden continually repeated the phrase "pay the price" or "pay a price" (at least eight times) when referring to foreign policy. Biden: "If I am elected, they [foreign countries such as China and Russia] will pay a price. They will pay a price. It has been overwhelmingly clear this election." This was subtle but clear message to the governments of those countries, a dog whistle of sorts: If Biden is elected, they will need to "pay the price" to deal with him. This was a missed moment for the President. Trump should have jumped on to...

Shift in tone dominates at final Trump-Biden clash BY BRETT SAMUELS AND MORGAN CHALFANT - 10/22/20 11:11 PM EDT President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden on Thursday clashed for a final time before Election Day, exchanging blows on the public health and economic crises facing the country in what was a decidedly more orderly — though still at times personal — contest than the first debate. The proceedings, which took place in Nashville, Tenn., were aided in part by a mute button that allowed each candidate to speak uninterrupted for two minutes about each of the six topics before...

Semi-political thought of the day... I think Keyshawn Johnson should sue the Biden campaign for their use of "Come on, maaaaaaaaaan"... Biden, now, are you really upset about Trump doing business in China, has a bank account in China? Well, consider they are literally 1/7th of the WORLD'S population, a SMART global business man would do exactly that, or in other words, it would be STUPID not to have a business relationship with China. (Oh, and don't forget, all of President Trump's holding are in a conservatorship, HE doesn't get to decide what happens, where it happens, when it happens,...

Senator Tina Smith (D-Minn.) is in a statistical dead heat with her GOP challenger Jason Lewis less than two weeks before Election Day, according to a new poll. A SurveyUSA poll released Wednesday shows Smith leading Lewis, a former congressman whose candidacy has been endorsed by President Donald Trump, by only 1 percent. It found that 43 percent of voters favored Smith compared to 42 percent for Lewis. Another 12 percent said they were undecided, while 3 percent said they would vote for a third party candidate. Smith's lead is well within the poll's 5 percent margin of error.

There are 149,596 more Republicans and 95,524 fewer Democrats on the North Carolina voting rolls in 2020 when compared to 2016. But there is one other big change among registered voters: there are now 415,210 more who are unaffiliated. The North Carolina Republican Party credits the surge in their registered voters to registration events and outreach since 2017. The North Carolina Republican Party credits the surge in their registered voters to registration events and outreach since 2017. But Western Carolina University political science professor Christopher Cooper says the second largest block of North Carolina registered voters is unaffiliated. “From the...

Rather than dumbing down the curriculum, advisers proposed that first and second graders study ancient China and Rome and learn the names of capitals. October 22, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) -- Earlier this week, Canadian media outlets broke what we are supposed to believe is a hugely upsetting story. Curriculum advisers handpicked by Alberta’s government, they reported, had made a series of unthinkable recommendations. Professors were called upon to condemn the proposals; commentators struggled to catch a breath; the New Democrats in opposition were frankly hornswoggled. The new recommendations, it turns out, include teaching seven- and eight-year-olds about ancient Rome, ancient China,...

The US Army said Thursday it carried out a drone strike against Al-Qaeda leaders in northwest Syria near the border, killing 14 jihadists, according to a war monitor. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) said the victims included five foreigners and six commanders. "US Forces conducted a strike against a group of al-Qaeda in (AQ-S) senior leaders meeting near Idlib, Syria," said Major Beth Riordan, the spokeswoman for United States Central Command (CENTCOM). "The removal of these AQ-S leaders will disrupt the terrorist organization's ability to further plot and carry out global attacks threatening US citizens, our partners and...

Imagine trying to get elected as a Democrat in a predominantly conservative town. That’s happening in Rogers County with those running for office hoping to turn their district purple... Young is running for State House District 23. She’s also the Democratic party chair in Rogers County, a group now working out of their new office in the heart of Main Street. "Rogers County was, the whole time I was growing up here for the last many years, it was Democratic and then it was slowly drifting towards being more Republican," Young said. Despite the Rogers County Democrats' push, Election Board...

A “coordinated attack” was carried out by armed gunmen in the early hours of Tuesday, according to the local mayor. Where Francis Leads, We Can’t Follow “Homosexuals have a right to be a part of the family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable because of it. What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered. I stood up for that.”That’s a quote from Pope Francis. Pope Francis—the Bishop of Rome, the Vicar of Christ, the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church. And not only has he come out in support of civil unions for same-sex couples: he has also...
