Senator Tina Smith (D-Minn.) is in a statistical dead heat with her GOP challenger Jason Lewis less than two weeks before Election Day, according to a new poll.

A SurveyUSA poll released Wednesday shows Smith leading Lewis, a former congressman whose candidacy has been endorsed by President Donald Trump, by only 1 percent. It found that 43 percent of voters favored Smith compared to 42 percent for Lewis. Another 12 percent said they were undecided, while 3 percent said they would vote for a third party candidate. Smith's lead is well within the poll's 5 percent margin of error.

SurveyUSA poll could be a worrying sign for the incumbent. A poll conducted earlier this month by the same firm showed her with a 7 percent lead over Lewis, while another from mid-September gave her an 8 point lead. A RealClearPolitics average of recent polls shows Smith maintaining a 5.8 percent lead as of Thursday.

Only 43% for the incumbent? Not a good sign this late in the game, particularly for a DEM with the MSM providing cover.

There may be many surprises in 11 days.

It seems like those whose party has the presidency don’t go out in big numbers during the in betweens.

Hence 2018. And of course cheating.

But Trump folks are gonna likely vote R down the line and I i can’t WAIT for max rose to be gone!!

Staten Island/part of brooklyn district.

Staten Island Trump land but brooklyn part kills us.

Max Rose sounds like a nasty idiot in his commercials.

You can’t crticize him because he flaunts images of his bandaged head in Iraq. Like that entitles him to a congressional seat for life.

he IS a nasty idiot.

I appreciate that he served.

But he marched with antifa against the police on Staten Island.

That was suicide, election-wise.

I have No Idea how he won last time. Maybe the paesani were lazy in 2018 and didn’t get out there and the brooklyn part kills us.

But I am thinking we are taking this seat back with a vengeance.

I will be very upset if we don’t.

The dems always find the votes to magically win in MN thanks to voter fraud. I hope he wins.

Flipping a MN State Senate seat - Canary in the coal mine ?

If that happens, the canary has long since left the coal mine, and the explosion is being heard in the basement in Wilmington, DE.

Flipping MN, would be the cherry on the top of the whipped cream on the Sundae.

Interesting. No hyperlinks to the polls mentioned in the article. No easy way to check methodologies.

Go figure.

Both Lewis and Smith are using the poll in their facebook posts. Lewis to say “I’m gonna win this!” Smith is saying “look out here he comes please vote for me!”

I’m in central Minnesota. Biden/Smith are toxic. Very few supporters are vocal about their support of the two. I am sure there are some closet supporters but if outstate shows up. Both Smith and Biden are done.

if billions in damage to the Mini apple, calls for defunding police, and the insane ramblings of Omar arent enough to turn this state red, I dunno what it would take...
Maybe whats left of the Minneapolis backbone will finally firm up, wise up, and vote their incompetent democrats out.
