On the last Sunday in May, Jeremy Lee Quinn, a furloughed photographer in Santa Monica, Calif., was snapping photos of suburban moms kneeling at a Black Lives Matter protest when a friend alerted him to a more dramatic subject: looting at a shoe store about a mile away. He arrived to find young people pouring out of the store, shoeboxes under their arms. But there was something odd about the scene. A group of men, dressed entirely in black, milled around nearby, like supervisors. One wore a creepy rubber Halloween mask.

No American president has denounced racism and “white supremacist” groups as often or as definitively as President Donald Trump has done over the past four years. Yet, this past week we were all treated to yet another Democrat/media hoax that desperately attempted to portray this President as a racist and white supremacist. As we discussed on Friday, this particular media smear job was for the first time led by Fox News, with White House reporter John Roberts tossing multiple on-air hissy fits on the subject and disgraceful debate moderator Chris Wallace repeating the long-debunked Charlottesville “fine people” lie during appearances...

They put the guns in Guns and Roses. The Azerbaijan military has released a bizarre heavy metal music video touting their war weapons and featuring lot of explosions amid a violent dispute with its neighbor Armenia. The guitar-shredding propaganda tune “Atəş”— or “Fire” — was performed by a group of local heavy metal rockers dressed in combat uniforms, according to footage uploaded to the country’s military Youtube channel.

. FILLING GAPS .ART-WORKS CONTINUALLY SURFACE after-the-fact, pieces not seen earlier when gathering up everything on a given Bible passage. Frequently now I’m finding new sites to explore—well, “finding” should read “being led to”—and often they contain new pearls. So, here are these fresh findings, unrelated to one another and presented chronologically. Viewing them will be rather like walking through a Biblical art museum with dozens of uncategorized offerings: no overarching theme except Christ as Savior and Lord. This is the fourth of such “retrospectives” in our long journey through Scripture. It seems almost inevitable that there will be more....

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has moved the Upper Peninsula back to Phase 4 of her MI Safe Start economic reopening phases after a spike of coronavirus cases in the region. The region will move from Phase 5, “containing,” to Phase 4, “improving,” starting Oct. 9. It’s the first region in the state to do so, although Whitmer has consistently warned that the reopening phases would go back and forth depending on the data. **SNIP** The change to Phase 4 will require people who can work remotely do to so, mean schools must follow stricter requirements for masking and place smaller limits...

President Donald Trump issued a powerful message this week about the value of individuals with Down syndrome in America. October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and an estimate 250,000 Americans have the chromosomal abnormality. Some go to college, while others own businesses and work as models, actors and artists. Some get married, and many serve as advocates and spokespeople for people with disabilities.

King Solomon once wrote the most annoying sound on the planet is a nagging wife. Obviously, he’d never heard what frothy-mouthed feminists sound like now that Judge Amy Coney Barrett will likely replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. After the first anti-Trump women’s march, I suggested everyday Americans take preventative action to keep the insane from driving us insane by investing in a good set of earbuds to drown out the whining.Unfortunately, earbuds cannot erase certain scenes our minds would prefer to forget, like the time anti-Trump “women’s march” feminists ran around in idiotic pink protest hats...

In its 4.5 billion year history, Earth has had to run the gauntlet. Numerous catastrophes have imperilled the planet, from massive impacts, to volcanic conflagrations, to frigid episodes of snowball Earth. Yet life persists. Among all of the hazards that threaten a planet, the most potentially calamitous might be a nearby star exploding as a supernova. Whan a massive enough star reaches the end of its life, it explodes as a supernova. The hyper-energetic explosion can light up the sky for months, turning night into day for any planets close enough. If a planet is too close, it will be...

The Spanish have reported an improvement to the HCQ treatment. Their "standard of care" includes HCQ. In a new study, 76 patients with Covid-19 were treated: 26 with "standard of care" and 50 with "standard of care" + a high dose Vitamin D analog (calcifediol ). For the group receiving calcifediol, only 1 (of 50) had to go to the ICU, and none died. For the group not receiving calcifediol, 13 (of 26) went to the ICU and 2 died.

North Carolina Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Cal Cunningham has admitted to sending sexual text messages to a California strategist who is not his wife. Cunningham apologized but said he would not drop out of the race in a statement to multiple news outlets late Friday. It’s unclear when the messages were sent, but at one point Cunningham says he’s “Nervous about the next 100 days,” which could be a reference to the election. One hundred days before the election would be July 26.

I think I know what’s really going on. Over at KAOS headquarters (otherwise known as Trump Tower), the show runners were recalling the palmy days of the Access Hollywood tape four years ago, when everyone said IT’S OVER!—PUT PENCE AT THE TOP OF THE TICKET NOW! The attempted sequel—the Melania Tapes—bombed, so someone said, “I’ve got it! Let’s go with COVID! Yeah, that’s the ticket!”

It’s just the flu, bro. Wonderful anecdote - I went to the chiropractor yesterday. Nobody on staff had masks on. The doctor said nobody needs to wear a mask in his office. I gave him a tip because I was so happy with his mask policies...and who tips a doctor? - Looks like this is the first week that no day had “deaths” over 1000. Deaths should continue to drop from here. One caveat to the deaths dropping that I have mentioned before - False positives from PCR testing will lead to massive numbers of asymptomatic cases. Since people die...

“Hezekiah … did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered” (2 Chronicles 31:20-21). In so many words, Scripture is saying that Hezekiah was the greatest king Israel ever had. We are told that his heart was so set on the Lord that no king before or after him was like him. Then consider the very next verse: “After these...

In April 2017, three months into the Trump presidency when it became blatantly obvious that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the “resistance” was going to use the filibuster to nix every possible administrative initiative regardless of merit, I wrote an op-ed for the Daily Caller titled, “The Filibuster Serves No Purpose In Today’s Divided Age.” In it, I argued that, since 1975 when the rules were changed to allow for so-called endless “virtual filibusters” to take the place of the ones where senators had to actually stand there and earn their delays by the sweat of their brows (and...

"My Word . . . shall not return to Me . . . without accomplishing what I desire" (Isa. 55:11). "Man does not live by bread alone, but . . . by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord" (Deut. 8:3). God’s Word is both productive and nourishing. The Bible contains many precious promises, two of which relate specifically to itself. First, the prophet Isaiah said that the Word is productive: "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout, and...
