Ohio Southern District Court Judge Michael H. Watson rejected voter advocates’ request to suspend rules in a Sunday order. Judge Watson was appointed by President George W. Bush, beginning service as a Judge of The United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio on October 1, 2004. Ohio’s rules for matching signatures on absentee ballots to those on file are burdensome for voters but not enough to change them ahead of the Nov. 3 election Judge Watson agreed with Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose that the process ensures integrity in the state’s election procedures. Watson wrote that...

President Trump, speaking during the annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, vowed to sign an executive order requiring health care be administered to babies born alive. The President said his executive order would “ensure that all precious babies born alive, no matter their circumstances, receive the medical care that they deserve.” “We believe in the joy of family, the blessing of freedom, the dignity of work and the eternal truth that every child born and unborn is made in the holy image of God,” he said. Trump further stressed the importance of a child’s right to life, calling it a “sacrosanct...

Cortez Lamont Edwards, 29, on Wednesday posted the video, in which he showed the Louisville Metro Police Department responding to an unspecified crime scene in front of his home. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal appeals court on Sunday temporarily halted a six-day extension for counting absentee ballots in Wisconsin’s presidential election, a momentary victory for Republicans and President Donald Trump in the key presidential battleground state. As it stands, ballots will now be due by 8 p.m. on Election Day. A lower court judge had sided with Democrats and their allies to extend the deadline until Nov. 9. Democrats sought more time as a way to help deal with an expected historic high number of absentee ballots.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale was hospitalized Sunday after he threatened to harm himself, according to Florida police and campaign officials. Police officers talked Parscale out of his Fort Lauderdale home after his wife called police to say that he had multiple firearms and was threatening to hurt himself. Police Sgt. DeAnna Greenlaw said Parscale was hospitalized under the state’s Baker Act, which allows anyone deemed to be a threat to themselves or others to be detained for 72 hours for psychiatric evaluation. “Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we...

Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett is in the grip of “dogmas.” So goes a criticism made by, ironically, the most dogmatic of people. In fact, the gripe reflects a certain dogma-born prejudice. Oh, I don’t speak of the anti-Catholic, anti-“religious,” anti-pro-life and anti-conservative varieties, though they’re also present. Nor do I refer to how a Muslim nominee would never be subjected to such scorn. Rather, the prejudice here is seldom recognized and something even good people may exhibit. “The dogma lives loudly in you,” Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) told Barrett in 2017 during the latter’s nomination hearing for the...

Fall is in the air, along with a distinct smell of panic among Democrats and the media. Leaves are turning yellow and orange as presidential opinion polls are slowly but inexorably shifting favorably toward President Trump, turning the electoral map a brighter shade of red to match the leaves. There is a chill in the morning air, especially among deep state corruptocrats waiting for the next report or indictment from the few in Washington D.C. committed to the rule of law. The Chinese virus has been an effective club against Trump making America great again during the past year The...

...“To Zoroastrians, fire is the physical form of God’s energy. It’s in all Zoroastrian rituals,” Mr. Bhandara explains. “We say that the fire has warmth and light. Light is a metaphor that cuts through the darkness of ignorance, bringing one face to face with the truth of the divine.” ...The supreme deity in the faith is Ahura Mazda. Zoroaster, or Zarathustra in ancient Persian, was actually a prophet after whom the religion came to be known among Westerners. Cyrus the Great, founder of the first Persian Empire circa 550 B.C., was a Zoroastrian. While Persia served as an incubator for...

Screenshot of Senator McSally from foxnews.com cropped and scaled by Dean Weingarten With the Supreme Court and circuit courts on the line, the makeup of the Senate has become critical to the restoration of Second Amendment rights in the 2020 election. In Arizona, Senator Martha McSally is running against Gabby Giffords husband, Mark Kelly. Kelly is ahead of McSally in many polls. The polls may not catch all voters, but they are worrisome. The left sees the McSally Senate seat as vulnerable. Kelly was instrumental in founding Americans for Responsible Solutions (ARS), a far-left gun control organization, after his wife,...

If White Privilege is a thing and “Black Disadvantage” a fact why do all these white women keep pretending that they’re black? That’s easy; because over time being black, or indeed any “person of color” in America, has evolved from being a distinct disadvantage to being an advantage in many lines of endeavor – especially academia (and politics: I’m talking to you Elizabeth). Current case in point: Jessica Krug, George Washington University African history professor who teaches introductory-level history and advanced courses on African studies. I would like to see a syllabus for Jessica’s “introductory-level history” class; I’m certain that...

2020 isn’t a normal year and it certainly isn’t a normal election. You see, normal elections are marked by Democrats attempting to buy votes with an endless array of government handouts, freebies, special interest priorities, or any number of other big government promises. Historically in a normal election year, the Republican message has been focused, in large part, on simply counter-messaging the Democrats’ false promises. In the past this has left Republicans appearing milquetoast and created a scenario where the Democrat-controlled media could force national Republicans into a defensive position, rendering them poorly equipped to offensively control the narrative. But...

Joe Biden, during a speech to the U.S Conference of Mayors on Saturday, claimed he was elected to the Senate “180 years ago. He seemed to realize what he said but did not correct himself. Breitbart noted that, ff that was true, Biden would have been in the Senate in 1840 with the likes of John C. Calhoun, James Buchanan, Franklin Pierce, and Henry Clay. On Friday, Biden appeared on MSNBC but lost his train of thought and host Stephanie Ruhle bailed him out: “For example, the paycheck protection act. You know, one percent of the money has gone out....

Rep. Omar posted a tweet shortly after midnight that linked to Trump’s calling for an investigation. It included a video of a game show contestant unveiling a card showing $750, a reference to a New York Times report that said the president paid that amount in federal income tax in 2016.
