While the AP doesn’t put it this way, those numbers mean that a plurality now disapproves of “protests in response to police violence,” whereas a majority approved of such protests in June. And this survey was conducted before the latest round of violence in Louisville and elsewhere. This shift is ominous for the Democrats: Just 35% of white Americans approve of the protests now, while 50% disapprove. In June, 53% approved, while 34% disapproved. But disapproval of the riots is growing among all ethnic groups. Note that Latinos sympathize with rioters even less than whites, which helps to explain President...

Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal have been accused of defending the Louisville police officers who killed Breonna Taylor and blaming the black EMT's boyfriend for opening fire first. Barkley and O'Neal were discussing Taylor's death and the decision not to indict any officers in her killing during the TNT pregame show ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets game on Thursday. Barkley argued that Taylor's death couldn't be compared to the police killing of black man George Floyd because Taylor's boyfriend Kenneth Walker first fired a shot at officers when they entered her apartment with a 'no knock'...

You know, I want to feel bad for the fact that Joe Biden’s evil wife keeps letting him embarrass himself in public, but then I remember that he wasn’t the greatest guy before becoming the medicated, senile shell of a human being that is currently running for president. Harsh? Maybe. Inaccurate? Not at all. The charade is becoming more difficult for Team Harris-Biden to keep up these days. When Grandpa Gropes isn’t pathetically slurring his way through yet another teleprompter fail, his handlers have him on a short leash and are yanking him out of the spotlight well before lunchtime...

On the latest episode of Two Mikes, Dr. Michael Scheuer and Colonel Mike discussed the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The Supreme Court Justice was known for her strict embrace of both feminism and abortion without restrictions. deaths of millions of pre-born babies. If you want to hear nice things about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, this isn’t the episode for you. It’s challenging to mourn someone who was responsible for the deaths of millions of pre-born babies.

Former NBA stars Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal pushed back on a lot of the outrage that racial activists have been fomenting in recent days over the death of Breonna Taylor, noting that the case, while tragic, did not belong in the same category as the death of George Floyd. “It’s bad the young lady lost her life, but, you know, we do have to take into account that her boyfriend did shoot at the cops and shot a cop,” Barkley said. “So, like I said, even though I’m really sorry she lost her life, I don’t think that we...

In 2008, Democrat Joe Biden mercilessly criticized late Senator John McCain as “an angry man” too afraid to confront Barack Obama to his face. It is an important reminder in the wake of an endorsement of Biden by McCain’s widow, Cindy. Friction during the 2008 election arose when then-Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin mentioned links between Obama and 1960s radical leader of a domestic terrorist group, Bill Ayers. McCain had resisted making such links for quite some time, but Palin finally put them at the forefront as the campaign was winding down. Biden, displeased, launched an attack on the...

Paunchy former New Jersey governor Chris Christie once threatened to sit on Mike Bloomberg — during a bizarre, jealous rant involving the Queen of England. The asinine threat is alleged in former governor David Paterson’s dishy new memoir, “Black, Blind & in Charge.” It was July 8, 2010. Paterson was leading New York and Christie was the Garden State’s top exec as they awaited the arrival of Queen Elizabeth at Ground Zero, where the royal was to lay a wreath. […] “I was told by the protocol people that nobody escorts the Queen but Prince Philip,” the rotund Jersey chief...

Long before arriving in the WNBA's bubble at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, the league's players resolved to devote their 2020 season to Breonna Taylor. Now, 195 days after her death and one day after a grand jury neglected to charge any of the three police officers who fatally shot her, the players are speaking out. Prior to the Minnesota Lynx's and Seattle Storm's WNBA playoff semifinal matchup Thursday night, Lynx superstar Napheesa Collier read a statement in response to the sentencing in Taylor's case on behalf of all of the players in the league. Connecticut Sun star Jasmine Thomas...

With many criticizing 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden of hiding in his basement for the majority of his campaign, presidential debates seemingly would be a good way for the former vice president to refute claims of a decline in mental cognizance and that he is pushing a socialist agenda. During a Friday interview on CBS’s “This Morning,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) doubled down on saying Biden should not debate President Donald Trump. Pelosi argued that Trump “has no fidelity to fact or truth” and “isn’t committed to our Constitution,” thus she asked “why bother” holding a debate with...

Today in history, on September 25, 1396, a major military encounter with Islam that demonstrated just how disunited Christendom had become took place. In 1394, the Ottoman Turks "were doing great injury to Hungary," causing its young king, Sigismund, to appeal "to Christendom for assistance." That appeal came at an opportune time. The hitherto quarreling English and French had made peace in 1389, and a "crusade against the Turks furnished a desirable outlet for the noble instincts of the Western chivalry." Matters were further settled once "men of all kinds" — pilgrims, laymen, and clerics returning from the Holy Land...

The tweet came in the early hours of Thursday after the officers who shot Breonna Taylor were not charged in her death. Jones is working the game between Army and No. 16 Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium in Ohio.

Nothing better symbolizes the peacemaking achievements of President Donald Trump than the reported agreement of Serbia and Kosovo to name a disputed lake on their border after the man who brought them together, overcoming centuries of conflict between a Christian majority and Muslim majority nation. First reported in the English Language version of Gazeta Express, a Kosovo-based publication, the naming emerged out the successful discussions mediated by Ric Grenell to normalize economic relations between the two nations. That agreement, which also resulted in Kosovo’s agreement to normalize relations with Israel and Serbia’s agreement to move its embassy to Jerusalem,...

The truth matters, at least it appears to with Charles Barkley. The basketball legend is once again speaking out, this time about the police shooting of Breonna Taylor. While essentially everyone else in the sports community is afraid to say anything that deviates one millimeter from the Black Lives Matter narrative, Barkley appears to know some of the details leading up to Taylor's death and isn't afraid to share his thoughts. On Thursday night during the TNT pregame show for game four of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, Barkley told Shaquille O'Neal that...

Former National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster on Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room” called President Donald Trump’s comments about not committing to a peaceful transfer of power “very disappointing.” Anchor Wolf Blitzer said, “Let’s talk about issues facing the American people right now. The president, very worrisome, refusing, I never thought I would see this or hear this, refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he were to use the presidential election. Did you ever think you would hear that coming from a president of the United States?” McMaster said, “No, Wolf, this is very disappointing. Really...

Now that the dust has relatively settled on President Trump’s commutation of Roger Stone’s sentence, it’s worth examining the issue of clemency and what the previous eight presidents have done prior to President Trump. Vocabulary 101Clemency refers to a variety of options – including commutation, pardons, remissions, and respites – that the president can grant to an individual or to a group. Clemency bestowed based on an executive order, such as that exercised by Jimmy Carter or by Gerald Ford, can forgive the crimes of hundreds or thousands of people in one fell swoop. Commutation is the complete or partial...

Um, Vox. You might have preferred to wait until after the election to reveal how both the Democrats and Silicon Valley billionaires have again embraced the dirty trickster co-founder of LinkedIn, Reid Hoffman. Both groups have gone through the motions of publicly keeping their distance from Hoffman after it was revealed that he financed Project Birmingham, a dirty tricks operation in Alabama to fool the voters into electing Democrat Doug Jones in a special election for the U.S. Senate in 2017. This sleazy dirty tricks operation was so over the top that even the Washington Post condemned it on December...
