Does the Wuhan virus, which arguably escaped from a Chinese virology lab, supersede the rights guaranteed to American citizens under the U.S. Constitution? U.S. Federal District Judge William Stickman IV has ruled in a case brought before him that there is no pandemic exception to the U.S. Constitution and that the Bill of Rights cannot be trampled with impunity whenever there is a health emergency leftist ideologues try to exploit to impose their desired control over every aspect of our daily lives. As Reason Magazine reports: A federal judge on Monday has ruled that lockdown restrictions imposed by Pennsylvania Gov....

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden earned an endorsement from the National Postal Mail Handlers Union on Wednesday. The union’s president slammed President Trump’s treatment of the United States Postal Service in its endorsement, and touted Biden for his “history of supporting” the postal service and postal workers. “NPMHU members are facing unprecedented times. Despite the USPS being the most trusted federal agency, often it feels as if our work is undervalued and unappreciated by elected officials. We’ve seen attacks against our rights as workers, the service we provide, and the constitutionally protected institution we work for. We need a leader...

The margin favoring Democrats in the generic ballot for the House is slipping, from about 8 points to about 6 in the last few weeks (one could say the Dem lead has had a bad haircut). Given GOP redistricting advantages in several states — especially Ohio and North Carolina, and to a lesser extent in a few other states — plus the fact that Dems win big majorities in minority-majority districts, Dems may need at least a 6-point advantage to hold control of the House. Dems have invested heavily in districts they picked up in 2018, but overall, the House...

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok said on Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Live,” that history would see him and all the government agents that worked on the counterintelligence investigation into possible links between the Russian government and Trump campaign officials as “patriots.” Tur asked, “25 years from now, how does history see you?” Strzok said, “I think it sees all of us as patriots who were working as hard as we could to defend America against a Russian threat, against a Russian attack on our elections that helped elect the 45th president of the United States.”

by Jacob Harding A campaign surrogate of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is under federal investigation for soliciting sex with minor boys. Federal agents raided the Illinois home of Jerry Harris, who gained notoriety due to his role in the Netflix documentary Cheer, Monday afternoon as part of a probe into messages sent to minors asking for explicit photos and to meet for sex. The solicitations were flagged for authorities by the 21-year-old's employer. The Biden campaign had been using Harris, who has over a million followers on Instagram, as part of Biden's push to sway young voters and "win...

Restaurants in Pennsylvania are being asked to self-certify with the state that they are following the COVID-19 guidelines. And those that do will be permitted to increase their capacity. The self-certification for restaurants requires them to submit online through the DCED’s website that they meet all of the state’s coronavirus prevention guidelines. The submission form will be available online starting on September 21. “Self-certifying your establishment shows your employees and customers that you care about their health and well-being, and demonstrates your commitment to helping mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the commonwealth,” said Secretary Dennis Davin of the Department...

A nurse who met her new partner on a dating app not realising he was a convicted child rapist and murderer came home from work to find her two daughters knifed to death. Vitaly Molchanov went on the run after the killings of Yana Saprunova and Elena Saprunova, aged 13 and eight and a major manhunt was launched. One month ago divorcee Valentina Saprunova, 40, moved 1,600 miles with her daughters from her Siberian home to move into her new boyfriend’s flat, convinced she had found true love. The nurse had met Molchanov online via a dating app around six...

A man was spotted using a live snake as a makeshift face mask on a public bus in England. The unidentified man was taking the bus from Swinton to Manchester on Monday with the snake wrapped around his neck when another passenger snapped a photo of the bizarre moment. A passenger, who wished to remain anonymous, said she first believed the man was only wearing a “funky mask” until the reptile started slithering over the handrails, according to the BBC.

Political waves come unexpectedly. That is especially the case when it comes to the House of Representatives. In 1994, nobody expected the House to flip to the Republicans for the first time in 40 years. The Contract with America was seen as a curiosity, Rep. Newt Gingrich’s (R-Ga.) vanity project. The media roundly lampooned it. And then November rolled around and history was made. In September 2006, George Bush wasn’t that popular, the Iraq War wasn’t going that well, but most pundits and most Republicans thought the House would hold. Then the Rep. Mark Foley (R-Fla.) scandal consumed Washington, and...

Protests in 140 cities across America in the wake of the death of George Floyd devolved into violent looting and riots that have destroyed black lives, black livelihoods, and black monuments. At least 26 Americans have died in the riots, most of them black. The first two weeks of these deadly riots were officially the most destructive riots in U.S. history when it comes to insurance claims. The looting, vandalism, and arson that took place between May 26 and June 8, 2020, will result in at least $1 billion to $2 billion in paid insurance claims, Axios reported on Wednesday....

Because he was deaf when he wrote them, Beethoven never heard his “late quartets”. This is a remarkable anecdote; an inhuman feat of human creativity. I was reminded of a resonant anecdote while reading in the Spectator US of a meeting between British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and his wife and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—bear with me. The article described that the Laborite couple later sent the laborious couple a book of poems by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, a 17th century Mexican nun and poet. The Spectator describes her as “a poet known for her proto-feminism and...

All of my life, I have said that the left’s moral compass is broken. And all of my life, I was wrong. Why I was wrong explains both the left and the moral crisis we are in better than almost any other explanation. I was wrong because in order to have a broken moral compass, you need to have a moral compass to begin with. But the left doesn’t have one. This is not meant as an attack. It is a description of reality. The left regularly acknowledges that it doesn’t think in terms of good and evil. Most of...

Writing at UncoverDC.com, historian Larry Schweikart has a terrific analysis arguing that the Democrat Party has made a huge miscalculation in its exploitation of the China Virus crisis, a blunder that likely has already cost the Biden/Harris ticket – or is it Harris/Biden? – the election. Schweikart further argues that the blunder will result in Democrat losses up and down the ballot. Arguing that the Dems overplayed their hands on the China Virus and really rolled out their Soros-funded riot strategy too early in the summer, Schweikart says those mistakes have allowed President Trump to own the “law and order”...

A BALLERINA from the world famous Bolshoi Theatre was dismembered and dissolved in sulphuric acid after a blackmailer threatened to reveal nude photos, cops believe. Biden’s Counterfeit Catholicism The prospect of an anti-Catholic Catholic presidency Journalist George Neumayr's new book, The Biden Deception: Moderate, Opportunist, or the Democrats' Crypto-Socialist?, debunks the myth that Joe Biden is a moderate candidate, detailing how Biden's policies have only become more radical over the years. The following excerpt is focused on how Biden's platform stands against the teachings of the Church: Neumayr calls Joe Biden's Catholicism "counterfeit," based in part on Biden's radical stance on abortion, particularly with his reversal on the Hyde Amendment.Perhaps more priests should follow Church law and ban Joe Biden from Communion.Biden's faith and voting record...

A "GIANT" rat "big enough for a Sunday roast" has sparked horror on social media after it was found in London. The rat was spotted in an alley in Camden, north London, at the weekend and a picture of the creature was posted on Facebook by LJ Bowen. She wrote that the rat looked like a capybara, the largest living rodent in the world - which can grow to 4ft-long, 2ft-high and weigh up to 10 stone - and is native to South America. More than 100 people commented on the snap after it was shared to Facebook. One person...
