European airlines on Tuesday urged national capitals to coordinate measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, saying the current patchwork of restrictions is hobbling a return to regular travel around the EU. The hurdles have included “chaotic border restrictions along with confusion about quarantines, varying passenger locator forms and test requirements,” Airlines For Europe (A4E) director Thomas Reynaert said in a press conference held by video. To overcome the piecemeal measures, A4E urged a “common approach”, backing calls from the European Commission for a central color-coded map of areas in the bloc where the virus risk, is high...

Speaking at a veterans’ roundtable discussion in Tampa Bay, Fla., the Democratic presidential nominee said, “Harris/Biden administration is going to relaunch that effort and keep pushing further to make it easier for military spouses and veterans to find meaningful careers to ensure teachers know how to support military children in their classrooms and to improve support for military caregivers and survivors so much more than we do...

An unidentified flying object in the skies of New Jersey Monday had residents believing aliens were about to beam down to the Garden State until it was actually identified — as a Goodyear Blimp. Twitter video of the “New Jersey UFO sighting” racked up more than 555,000 views. But naysayers were quick to debunk the extraterrestrial sighting — noting that it was nothing more than the Goodyear Blimp flying overhead near MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, where the New York Giants lost 26-16 to the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night in the season opener.

Frank Lloyd Wright originally proposed The Mile-High Illinois in the 1950s. Innovations in construction materials and elevators are necessary to reach the one mile height and beyond. We may see the first mile-high skyscraper by the middle of the 21st century. The undefeated champion of the skies right now is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which stands at 2,717 feet (roughly half a mile) and is the tallest building in the world. by Joe Callen Former legendary NFL player and coach Mike Ditka on Tuesday that he can't for the life of him understand why football players are protesting police brutality and racial injustice by refusing to stand for the national anthem.
