Interviewed by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, New Jersey governor Phil Murphy praises Donald Trump for having been supportive of New Jersey’s health care needs, but Wallace reminds him: One area, however, Governor, where you haven’t gotten help, either from the president or from Senate Republicans, is on the question of state aid -- federal aid, passed by Congress, signed by the president -- to go to states like yours to pay for, uh, first responders, teachers, and all the services, with the huge revenue hit that you’ve taken because of the coronavirus. You’ve said this week -- your...

WASHINGTON - Former Vice President Joe Biden Monday called for an immediate $13 minimum wage increase for essential workers and criticized President Trump for viewing these front-liners as “disposable” amid the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking at a virtual town hall with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the apparent Democratic nominee proposed giving employees required to work through the public health crisis - many of whom are minorities and are working in a “war zone” - a $13 minimum wage increase on top of their current salaries to ensure that they can sustain their families, especially if they were...

Michelle Obama blamed nonvoters, not Republicans, for President Trump's election in 2016. In her soon-to-be-released Netflix documentary, Becoming, the former first lady opened up about her frustration with those who didn't vote in the 2016 election. She claimed it was the fault of apathetic citizens that Trump won in 2016 and that President Obama didn't have a Democratic majority in the House and Senate when he was in the White House. "So, the day I left the White House, and I write about how painful it was to sit on that [inauguration] stage," Obama explained. "A lot of our folks...

The European Union raised over $8 billion for the development and "universal deployment" of a COVID-19 vaccine and other medical treatments during a virtual global summit Monday that the U.S. did not participate in, prompting doubt about the Trump administration's support for those efforts. Senior administration officials said that the U.S. is supportive of the summit and that the administration has already provided $2.4 billion in total for the coronavirus response, including economic assistance, global health funding and humanitarian aid. But two officials who briefed reporters would not say why the U.S. skipped the summit. The pledging marathon will continue...

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas House Speaker Dennis Bonnen, R-Angleton, is warning major retail stores that not following guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus could hinder the ability of smaller businesses to reopen. Rep. Bonnen ticked off a series of tweets Monday citing “some of our largest home improvement superstores” and saying that workers are not wearing masks or keeping six feet of distance. “What we were seeing in Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, what have you, is they were not doing social distancing among their employees. They were not wearing masks. That’s all White House guidelines,” he told Capital...

WASHINGTON - States across the country are moving swiftly to reopen their economies despite failing to achieve benchmarks laid out by the White House for when social distancing restrictions could be eased to ensure the public's safety during the coronavirus pandemic. These governors' biggest cheerleader is President Donald Trump. A slew of states - such as Texas, Indiana, Colorado and Florida - have pushed forward with relaxing social distancing guidelines as the number of people testing positive in many states has increased in recent weeks and testing continues to lag. White House recommendations released last month encouraged states to wait...

It’s just the flu, bro. Post lockdown there will be many virtue signaling/CYA actions taken. A few unpleasant ones to watch for- 1. Temperature scans to be permitted entry 2. Additional mandatory vaccine requirements 3. Inability to push tables together in restaurants 4. After a few coughs being asked to leave 5. Signs saying something unpleasant is “For your safety” Most of these things apply to private business but they are a result of trying to be seen to be stricter than whatever the government is doing. These aren’t the biggest issues in all of this but they will be...

The New York Attorney General's office is looking into NBC News over reported claims of sexual harassment there, investigative journalist Rich McHugh revealed to Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Monday night. Host Tucker Carson began the interview by asking McHugh if he had heard that the New York AG has been "investigating" NBC News over "sexual abuse, sexual harassment claims." "Well, that's kind of amazing," Carlson reacted. "So, just to be completely clear... the New York Attorney General's office is looking into NBC News. Remarkable." It was announced earlier Monday that NBC News chairman Andy Lack will leave the...

Actor Paul Giamatti gave U.S. Attorney John Durham some credit for informing his character on Showtime's Billions. The Hollywood star plays fictional U.S. Attorney-turned-New York Attorney General Chuck Rhoades, who is loosely based on former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, on the show, but Bharara isn't the only inspiration for the role. Speaking with GQ last week, Giamatti revealed that Durham influenced the portrayal of his character too. "There was a guy that was interesting to me early on, and his name is John Durham," he said. "And he’s actually the guy who William Barr tagged to do the investigation of...

You understand why San Fran Nan wonÂ’t call the House back in session, right? ItÂ’s because she and Chuck Schumer are trying to shame Mitch McConnell into keeping the Senate shut down. Why? Well, itÂ’s obvious: They want to keep the Senate shut down in order to prevent the confirmation of President TrumpÂ’s judicial nominees and other key nominees like John Ratcliffe, who is up to become the Director of National Intelligence. Luckily, McConnell is having none of it, and called the Senate back into session this week with his main goal to specifically get those nominees moving again. He...

In what is a massive milestone for Boeing and potentially for unmanned aerial combat systems as a whole, the company officially rolled out the first of three pre-production unmanned teaming aircraft, which is the central component of a total system called the Airpower Teaming System, or ATS for short. The War Zone was part of a small roundtable of journalists that talked with two of the minds behind ATS ahead of the official unveiling and we learned a lot about this potentially game-changing system, to say the least. ATS is designed to work with manned aerial assets in the 'loyal...

I don’t believe President Trump was ever worried about Joe Biden being a serious threat. Biden has a long history of gaffes and has proved himself to not be the sharpest knife in the drawer throughout his career. Throughout his decades of public service, the former Senator and current Vice President has earned a reputation for often saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. We just found one tweet from VP Biden that dates back in 2015: https://twitter.com/VP44/status/642020367108861952?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E642020367108861952&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rightjournalism.com%2Fvideos-biden-on-rape-survivors-it-takes-an-enormous-amount-of-courage-to-stand-up-and-tell-your-story-you-give-millions-of-women-hope%2F Well, that didn’t age well. I wonder if that goes for Tara Reade as well? As the recent rape accusations emerged...

The Lincoln Project, an Anti-Trump group led by George Conway, a Washington, D.C., lawyer who is a frequent Trump critic and married to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, has released an ad criticizing President Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic. The 60-second ad titled "Mourning in America" plays off former President Reagan's 1984 ad titled "Morning in America," which the Lincoln Project said highlighted the "positive impact" under Reagan's first term in the White House. The Lincoln Project's ad instead paints a more pessimistic picture of the state of the country nearing the end of Trump's first term. "There's mourning...

WASHINGTON — States left cash-strapped by the coronavirus crisis shouldn’t count on federal bailouts — especially those run by Democrats, President Trump told The Post on Monday. During a sit-down in the Oval Office, Trump echoed recent remarks by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who last month refused to open federal coffers for “blue state” governments — including New York’s — that have been hit hard by the pandemic. “I think Congress is inclined to do a lot of things but I don’t think they’re inclined to do bailouts. A bailout is different than, you know, reimbursing for the plague,”...

WASHINGTON — President Trump said Monday that “everybody” enjoyed his White House coronavirus briefings — including himself — and vowed they will be back, just not daily. In an Oval Office interview with The Post during which he predicted a strong economic rebound from the coronavirus crisis by the end of the year, and offered his opinions on presumptive Democratic challenger Joe Biden’s best pick for a running mate and the sex-assault allegations facing the former vice president, Trump said the briefings were must-see TV. And he credited his frequent clashes with reporters for making engaging content.

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Monday ripped Joe Biden’s denial of a decades-old sexual assault allegation by a former Senate staffer — and said that Republicans get treated far more harshly than Democrats when accused of sexual misconduct. “I mean, his choice of words weren’t very good when he, you know, dismissed the allegation,” Trump said of Biden during an interview with The Post in the Oval Office. “But he’s got to fight his own battles, and we’ll see how he does.”
