George Conway Group knocks Trump with new ad ‘Mourning in America’

The Lincoln Project, an Anti-Trump group led by George Conway, a Washington, D.C., lawyer who is a frequent Trump critic and married to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, has released an ad criticizing President Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 60-second ad titled "Mourning in America" plays off former President Reagan's 1984 ad titled "Morning in America," which the Lincoln Project said highlighted the "positive impact" under Reagan's first term in the White House.

The Lincoln Project's ad instead paints a more pessimistic picture of the state of the country nearing the end of Trump's first term.

"There's mourning in America," the narrator of the ad says. "Today more than 60,000 Americans have died from a deadly virus Donald Trump ignored. With the economy in shambles more than 26 million Americans are out of work, the worst economies in decades."

How do we know that the wonderful Kelly Conway and her awful husband aren’t getting paid to allow her husband to say these bad things about President Trump, that man Kelly is supposed to represent?

Because I get furious everytime I read this. KELLYANN CONWAY NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!

If she can’t shut up that big mouth husband of hers, than I argue she is allowing it and maybe getting some money for it.

Fire the bitch and he’ll be gone soon after.

I agree, Fishtalk. There is something up with this level of Kelly/George perfidy.

That he would do what he’s done through Trump’s admin and Kelly would still be married to him is too much of a red flag for me.

Trump’s staffing, starting with Kushner & Co, of course has been his weakness all along.

Kellyanne...let me tell you something if you don’t already know it. Your husband hates that you’re someone important and he isn’t. He’ll try his best to put you in a position where you have to quit. If he’s not already knocking you around, he’ll be starting that soon.

It looks like they used locations in Democratic controlled locations.

Suppose Kelly was Trump’s lawyer? Would a lawyer’s spouse go out in public and say bad things about his or her spouse’s client?

If my husband ever did such a thing to betray me in my employment I’d leave him in a minute. Who would do that to someone they love? Someone they agreed to live happily ever after with?

Further, who would allow it, indeed remain married.

I stand by my assertion that BOTH KellyAnn and lovely husband are getting paid by somebody to allow it to go on.

I love my President but he needs to fire this woman or else I love respect in his handling of this matter.

LOL !! Part of Trumps Twitter reply :

I don’t know what Kellyanne did to her deranged loser of a husband, Moonface, but it must have been really bad.

Amen, this is one of the more baffling things DJT has endured. In no other professional setting would this clownish tag-team be allowed to remain.

Like I’ve said before. Trump should tell Kelly Anne that she either quits or divorces that toad. You can’t have a subversive within your ranks.

But there are so many more who are obviously worse and need to go as well.

Start with the whole Fauci, Birx, Redfield, Azar line.

Then of course there is Barr, Wray, etc.

Pompeo? The guy who left Gina behind him to run the CIA? Really, the whole State Department needs to be flushed.

And I’m sorry, but Kushner in there getting his daily orders from Murdoch, his father, etc., gotta go too.

I never trusted Mr. Goldman/Skull and Bones running Treasury, either. All the obvious evidence against the Clinton Foundation dumped into the IRS years ago, and Mnuchin’s team has done nothing!

Then too Wilbur Rothschild.

And what the F has Sonny Perdue been doing while our ag/food chain has been falling apart?

I know Ratcliffe has to make it through firs, but where is the massive flushing and downsizing of our treasonous 17 “intelligence” agencies?

And who’s gonna take the scrub to all those old Obama generals in the DoD?

It’s all fun and games DC Divide & Control UNIPARTARIANS until people start getting hurt or people lose everything.

535+++++George, Kellyanne, Rebecca vs. 330 MILLION - snowflakes - turncoats.

Brothers and sisters in the cities, suburbs, countryside, need to lock arms, ammo, ideas. It’s a BIG club out here and THEY are not in it.

Even more, I was just reminded of who Georgie Porgie’s partners are trying to take down Trump (they already endorsed Biden): Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, John Weaver and Reed Galen.

It doesn’t get worse than that as a list of undermining Dem/neocon political operatives who play on the GOP side to only bring it down.

That’s the MO for all of them.

“Today more than 60,000 Americans have died from a deadly virus Donald Trump ignored.”

The record plainly states that Trump did not ignore the virus, early on.

First time, in the tweet, that Trump seems to express a bit of impatience with Kellyanne.
