Couple of quick thoughts here -- the Michigan lock down thanks to our illustrious Governor. The one size fits all lock down. So typical of a liberal. Same thing as the whole class gets punished because one student acted up. A normal person would have said something like this: Look -- we've got three counties in SE Michigan that are the hot spots; those we're going to lock down. The rest of the State -- county by county -- you figure it out. That's why we have counties. Do what's best -- you're all adults out there. But no. Let's...

"No ma'am," the South Carolina Republican said when asked Friday by Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum whether he believes there will be prosecutions in Durham's inquiry into possible misconduct by federal law enforcement and counterintelligence officials.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump “Concast” should open up a long overdue Florida Cold Case against Psycho Joe Scarborough. I know him and Crazy Mika well, used them beautifully in the last Election, dumped them nicely, and will state on the record that he is “nuts”. Besides, bad ratings! #OPENJOECOLDCASE 6:38 AM · May 4, 2020

They shut down the day before I was scheduled for a cleaning. Made appointment for 8am Friday, but they wanted me to come in today. Couldn't make that. Said something about sending me a text with a few questions that will need to be answered.... and another text on appointment day.

FNC's Maria Bartiromo gave voice to many viewers of her show "Sunday Morning Futures" during an interview with Sen. Lindsey Graham, asking him point-blank why he is not using his powers as Senate Judiciary Chairman to launch investigations into a wide variety of matters: MARIA BARTIROMO, FOX NEWS: I've got to tell you though, I mean, we've been talking about this now for three years and when I first came on the scene and said, "Look, this is a coup to take down Donald Trump, I got slammed." Everybody out there was just going on this, you know, "Russia collusion...

Democrats are far more likely than Republicans to say they'd report neighbors for holding a social gathering in violation of coronavirus stay-at-home orders, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen. "There is a huge partisan difference," Rasmussen said. "By a 44% to 31% margin, a plurality of Democrats would turn in their neighbors. By a 60% to 25% margin, Republicans would not. Independents are evenly divided. Other data I’ve released shows that a plurality of Republicans now believe the worst of the pandemic is behind us. Democrats strongly disagree."

Instead of protecting the most vulnerable, our illusion of protecting everyone could do nothing else but backfire. Of course it doesn't help that the governors of the northeast are all nearsighted, never looking for what Bastiat termed the unseen consequences. When all politics is political theater and grandstanding, sometimes the long-term consequences you don't fear happen much sooner, and to the detriment of the weak and frail.

Carrying the weight of a parent’s unhappiness is a heavy burden for a child. It makes sense that children prone to self-blame would develop anxiety from their mother's depression. We’ve all heard the saying, “If mom’s unhappy, everyone’s unhappy.” I think it’s a little unfair to moms, but it’s meant as a playful way of saying what most of us have experienced at some point: Moms set the mood for the family. If mom is unhappy, the whole family feels it. Mothers wield tremendous influence in the home, and for most families this isn’t a problem.Moms can have ups and...

We are currently in the third wave of the left’s attempts to totally deconstruct America into the image of the leftist utopia. There is no love of this country or its traditions or its Constitution among the left. Remaking it into a radical ideological hellhole is their only objective. The impoverished and criminals are sacrosanct and must be preserved. They enable the corruption and absolute power the left craves. Two classes, the rulers and the ruled, comprise the society that the left requires. This is absolute evil, and it is the way the world has functioned for centuries. They have...

It was a hot, humid afternoon in July, 1505. A brilliant young law student was traveling near the German village of Stotternheim in what was then Electoral Saxony. Having recently earned his Masters degree, he had by all accounts, a promising and lucrative law career ahead of him. But as often happens on hot summer days, the sky darkened without warning. Green leaves stirred and shook in the trees as a rising wind began to agitate the branches. It started to rain. Suddenly a bolt of lightning struck so near the traveler that he was knocked to the ground. Fearing...

U.S.—According to sources who dared to peek their heads outside this morning, God's brilliant creation is moving on after a long and difficult winter. It has been reported by several dirt-embedded journalists that flowers are continuing to bloom in a bright array of dazzling colors in spite of state governors' clear instructions to shut everything down. In addition, trees are sprouting leaves without any concern for clear state directives. "Even the sun, in a callous display of insensitivity, is shining brightly," said CNN reporter Deebles McNarderson. "It's as if the sun is completely unaware that we are in a national...

Italy, one of the European countries hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic, allowed millions of people to return to work on Monday, as it joins several nations tentatively lifting lockdown measures as infections and deaths appear to decline. More than 4 million Italians were allowed to return to work after a lockdown of about two months. Construction and manufacturing were allowed to resume, as was traffic in downtown Rome and street vendors, The Associated Press reported. “It’s something that brings happiness and joy, and people have been missing that these days,” vendor Stefano Fulvi told the AP. Fulvi added that...

When half the working class is facing economic devastation and the other half still has to show up to work, are we really all in this together? I’m a lawyer in New York City, currently working from home due to the coronavirus shutdown. For me it’s working quite well. Almost all of my work was done on computer, internet, and phone even when I was doing it in an office, so doing it from a home equipped with a computer, internet, and phone is not really much of an inconvenience. In fact, comparing the distance from my home to my...
