Instead of protecting the most vulnerable, our illusion of protecting everyone could do nothing else but backfire. Of course it doesn't help that the governors of the northeast are all nearsighted, never looking for what Bastiat termed the unseen consequences. When all politics is political theater and grandstanding, sometimes the long-term consequences you don't fear happen much sooner, and to the detriment of the weak and frail.

Looks like poster wrote their own opinion piece and title and used a somewhat related link to the Nursing Home article.
