These are incredibly stupid times. That should be the whole column right there, leaving it up to you to apply that unquestionably true statement to whatever it is you’d apply it to. But it doesn’t apply to one or two things or people, it applies to everything and everyone. You’re going to find something you agree with and to hate in this column, and that’s fine. Actually, it’s good. If you can’t get pissed off at someone you largely agree with every once in a while, well, you might as well be a Democrat. But these things need to be...

Reports that Kim is either dead or is in very poor health are increasing, but what comes after his demise is far from certain and could be horrific. Regardless, there is a lot of sentiment that seems to celebrate his demise. Be careful what you wish for in this regard, here's why. He also presides over a nuclear arsenal and a massive conventional military force that could lay waste to large portions of South Korea and bombard American interests and its allies in the region with ballistic missiles. If Kim goes, it is far from clear what we will get...

Doctors sound alarm about patients in their 30s and 40s left debilitated or dead. Some didn’t even know they were infected. The man was among several recent stroke patients in their 30s to 40s who were all infected with the coronavirus. The median age for that type of severe stroke is 74. As Oxley, an interventional neurologist, began the procedure to remove the clot, he observed something he had never seen before. On the monitors, the brain typically shows up as a tangle of black squiggles — “like a can of spaghetti,” he said — that provide a map of...

Actress and left-wing political activist Ashley Judd tweeted out abortion advocacy group NARAL’s new campaign Tuesday that condemns, as hypocrites, pro-life politicians who are encouraging an end to coronavirus lockdowns. “If they valued people’s lives, they wouldn’t be denying constituents essential healthcare or telling them to put themselves in unsafe situations during a pandemic,” Judd tweeted. “The NARAL Foundation is calling out their hypocrisy.” Abortion political lobbying group NARAL announced it has launched a six-figure ad campaign that targets pro-life politicians and officials who, the group claims, are placing lives at risk during the coronavirus crisis by denying massive vote...

We're in the middle of a pandemic that's killing thousands but, once again, all the death lobby cares about is killing thousands more through abortions. Next week, pro-abortion groups and Hollywood celebrities will unite for an all-day fundraising event dubbed "Operation Save Abortion" to benefit struggling independent abortion facilities across the country. The fundraiser will be hosted by Shout Your Abortion co-founder Amelia Bonow and Lizz Winstead, The Daily Show co-creator and founder of the Abortion Access Front or AbortionAF – formerly known as Lady Parts Justice, but that was too transphobic. The event will take place live on AAF’s...

Joining more than 1,000 others, Djemba Diatite stood for hours in line to feed her growing family, grateful for handouts of fruits, vegetables and soap. It was her first time accepting charity, but she had no choice. The coronavirus pandemic has turned her small world upside down. With open air markets closed, supermarket prices skyrocketing, an out-of-work husband, two children to feed and another on the way, Diatite said even tomatoes are now too expensive. “This is my only solution,” she said, relieved that a local group in her Paris suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois stepped in with help. Providing food aid...

A California church that police shut down on Palm Sunday for allegedly disobeying coronavirus health restrictions filed a lawsuit this month accusing Gov. Gavin Newsom and local authorities of violating its fundamental rights. The Sacramento Bee reports the Cross Culture Christian Center in Lodi and Pastor Jonathan Duncan argue in the lawsuit that Newsom and San Joaquin County health officials abused their authority through the public health restrictions. “Civil rights are not suspended by a virus,” the lawsuit states. “Fundamental and unalienable rights are, by their very nature, ‘essential.’” The National Center for Law & Policy in Escondido is representing...

Pastor Kevin Wilson and Lighthouse Fellowship Church on Chincoteague Island filed a federal lawsuit against Governor Ralph Northam for violating their religious freedom by targeting churchgoers on Palm Sunday. Police served a summons to Pastor Wilson for holding a church service for 16 people spaced far apart in a sanctuary that is rated for 293 people. The charge is violating Virginia Governor Northam’s COVID Order 55 with a penalty up to a year in jail and/or a $2,500 fine. On April 5, before the service...

Font Size: Every Democrat in the Senate has refused to acknowledge the sexual assault allegations against 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden that were brought forward by a former staffer, even after new evidence lends credibility to the alleged assault. The Daily Caller contacted every Democrat in the Senate, asking them if they would even consider the allegations by Biden’s accuser, Tara Reade, who has accused the then-senator of kissing her, touching her and penetrating her with his fingers without her consent in 1993. Each Senate office was given 24 hours to respond but not one did. Here Are All The...

As more states push to reopen their economies, many are falling short on one of the federal government’s essential criteria for doing so — having an efficient system to track people who have been physically near a person infected with the coronavius. An Associated Press review found a patchwork of systems around the country for so-called contact tracing, with many states unable to keep up with caseloads and scrambling to hire and train enough people to handle the task for the months ahead. The effort is far less than what public health experts say is needed to guard against a...

After President Trump announced he would be suspending immigration to the United States to protect the jobs and wages of millions of newly unemployed workers during the pandemic, the Spectator USA reported an “internal battle” broke out in the White House. Sources familiar with the situation told the Spectator that Kushner “is one of the loudest voices pushing back on a full ban and is seeking to carve out exemptions for refugees, temporary workers under the H1B visa program, and farmworkers under the H-2A visa program.” If that’s true, then Kushner achieved a total victory. The ban applies only to...

Despite several protests over California’s stay-at-home order to slow the spread of coronavirus, a new poll shows the vast majority of residents support the restrictions. Among those polled, 75% want the order to continue as long as it’s needed, according to a California Health Care Foundation/Ipsos survey. Only 11% wanted to stop the stay-at-home order, while 13% had no opinion. Among low-income residents, support was even stronger: 78% support the stay-at-home order and only 3% oppose it. The majority polled also said they are following various guidance from health officials, such as wearing masks, avoiding trips and staying at least...
