Restaurants Are Toast - Not Satire This is totally devastating for all of the United States. Speaker Pelosi made an error when she voted down the fourth traunch of the Care Act because she thought that not all small businesses had bank relationships. The fact is that the only small business that do not have a relationship with a bank are drug dealers.Restocking their freezers and rent have to be included in the Care ActCall your congress person and you senators today and tomorrowWe need to work together with the Dems and rid this country of hate and haters.

President Trump on Monday declared that he alone has the authority to “open up the states.” Trump said the decision will be up to him “for many good reasons” — even though state governors have issued mandatory stay-at-home orders and have specific powers to do so under the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. “For the purpose of creating conflict and confusion, some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government. President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign reported Monday morning that it had raised $212 million in the first quarter of 2020. The figure, raised by the campaign, the Republican National Committee and joint fundraising committees, was a $56 million increase from Q4 haul in 2019. $63 million was hauled in during March alone, bringing the campaign’s total for the 2020 election cycle to $677 million.

For the purpose of creating conflict and confusion, some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government. Let it be fully understood that this is incorrect. It is the decision of the President, and for many good reasons. With that being said, the Administration and I are working closely with the Governors, and this will continue. A decision by me, in conjunction with the Governors and input from others, will be made shortly!

Posting this one under Bloggers & Personal so hallway monitors who love to badger Freepers about posting rules can move on to easier prey... We are going through a time unprecedented in modern U.S. history. We have pretty much shut down the largest and most robust economy the world has ever seen, all in an effort to blunt the effects of a pandemic commonly called the "Wuhan Virus", scientifically called COVID-19. But I'm perfectly comfortable with "Chinese Bat Soup Flu" - thank you very much. I don't stand on political correctness very often. During this shutdown, slowdown, pause, or whatever...

"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy" (Matt. 5:7). Mercy is a characteristic of true believers. Like the other beatitudes, Matthew 5:7 contains a twofold message: to enter the kingdom you must seek mercy. Once there, you must show mercy to others. The thought of showing mercy probably surprised Christ's audience because both the Jews and the Romans tended to be merciless. The Romans exalted justice, courage, discipline, and power. To them mercy was a sign of weakness. For example, if a Roman father wanted his newborn child to live, he simply held his thumb up; if he...

The Holy Week Musings of Pope Francis Fretting over the fate of Judas wouldn’t seem a high priority for a pope. But it is a subject that gnaws at Pope Francis. In 2014, the Religion News Service ran an article entitled “Pope Francis: Judas Wasn’t So Bad.” It quoted from a sermon in which he said all of Jesus Christ’s disciples were sinners: Judas was not the one who sinned the most: I don’t know who sinned the most.… Judas, poor man, is the one who closed himself to love and that is why he became a traitor. And they all...

CNN producer-turned media watchdog Steve Krakauer described his former colleague, CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, as a fame-seeking attention-getter who is “actively helping Trump get re-elected” while making the press look bad. “I don't think CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta is a bad guy. I worked with him at CNN, and he was a solid, competent reporter. If Acosta's goal was to be a great White House reporter, he could probably do it,” Krakauer wrote. “But that's not Jim Acosta's goal. Jim Acosta wants to be famous.” Krakauer’s media newsletter, Fourth Watch, has gained popularity for holding...

Crazed Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer prohibited big box retailers from in-person sale of seeds because according to her, food is non-essential.‘Crisis gardens’ or ‘victory gardens’ were always encouraged during a time of war or a time of crisis to supplement rations and boost morale. But the tyrannical governor of Michigan barred grocery stores and brick-and-mortar retailers from selling vegetable seeds. In late March Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer limited access of doctors from prescribing the lifesaving drugs hydroxychloroquine and Z-Paks to save senior citizens in the state from Coronavirus.Hydroxychloroquine and Z-Paks have are widely used by doctors the world over to treat the...

Prayers up for all the families suffering from the impact of this virus. And we're still praying that the spread starts fading with the warmer Spring weather and that an effective treatment and vaccine are developed before the next flu season starts. And we pray that our people are allowed to go back to work very soon and that our economy comes roaring back. Meanwhile, we may be hurt and slowed down somewhat, but we have faith in the long-run that "what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger." God willing, America will survive and we will survive and we...

Amazing coincidences! Pachamama bowl – Vigil of Easter in St. Peter’s – Annuario Pontificio At the end of the Amazon Synod (“walking together”) in October 2019, a black ritual bowl with markings associated with Pachamama, with demonic idol worship, was placed at Francis’ behest directly on the main altar of St. Peter’s Basilica, above the tomb of the Apostle Peter. It had red flowers associated with that demon cult. HEREToday I caught a video clip from Francis’ celebration of the Easter Vigil in St. Peter’s Basilica (which really ought to have been at the Lateran since, I dunno, it’s the...

Pope to Pro-Migrant Radical: ‘Count on Me’ Francis seeks open ports while closing churches ROME (ChurchMilitant.com) - Pope Francis is being accused of "detesting Italy, Italians and Catholics" after he penned a handwritten letter on Good Friday to one of Italy's most notorious open-borders activists, assuring him, "I am always available to help." In his epistle to Luca Casarini, an ultra-left militant who is being investigated for aiding illegal immigration, the pontiff wrote: "I am close to you and your companions. Thanks for all you do." Casarini lost no time in bragging to the media. "Pope Bergoglio replied to my letter, he is one of...

Yours truly was one of many who early on cheered the government for aggressively curbing everyone’s activity to slow the spread of COVID-19. At the time, it seemed such a clear choice between life and death. Admittedly, I was squeamish endorsing government controls, something I’ve spent decades writing to oppose. What could possibly go wrong? As Benjamin Franklin said: “Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." Franklin recognized a false trade-off when he saw one. It took yours truly only a couple weeks to see the same picture. Every...

Death penalty states have been asked to hand over their stockpiles of drugs used in lethal injections to instead help save the lives of hundreds of patients admitted to intensive care units after contracting the coronavirus. Seven medical practitioners and experts addressed a letter to state correctional facility directors urging them to turn over their supplies of sedatives and paralytics to hospitals where they can be used for intubation and mechanical ventilation in critically ill COVID-19 patients. “Health care workers across the United States are facing unprecedented shortages of vital resources needed to battle COVID-19,” the letter said. Scarce resources...
