We are going through a time unprecedented in modern U.S. history. We have pretty much shut down the largest and most robust economy the world has ever seen, all in an effort to blunt the effects of a pandemic commonly called the "Wuhan Virus", scientifically called COVID-19. But I'm perfectly comfortable with "Chinese Bat Soup Flu" - thank you very much. I don't stand on political correctness very often.
During this shutdown, slowdown, pause, or whatever you want to call it, many of our citizens have chosen to become armchair quarterbacks, sniping from the sidelines, telling President Trump how this situation SHOULD have been handled, how THEY would have handled it, and so on.
It's as if all these people sitting at home, complaining about how things are being handled, have this notion that President Trump needs their advice and that they are JUST THE EXPERTS to give it to him.
They would like us to thing that Trump is this helpless creature, stumbling about the White House in a daze, not knowing what to do, not in control of events, totally at the mercy of some scarf-wearing woman doctor and some short annoying doctor/bureaucrat waving his arms at the podium and giving secret hand signals to his buddies in the WH media room. They want us to believe that Trump, of all people, is being manipulated by these Deep State fools.
Fact is, President Trump could gone any number of ways to handle this situation and no matter what he did, we would still have at least half his supporters in the country screaming that is was NOT ENOUGH or that it didn't go FAR ENOUGH.
And remember I'm just talking about his supporters!
As for the other half of the country, the Democrats, the Leftists, the media, the entertainment industry (and I keep repeating myself), they utterly HATE President Trump and they will attempt to convince us that he is failing us on this 100% of the time.
So that said, let me quote something from Teddy Roosevelt that applies here.
"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."
Well one of the men we have in the arena is President Trump. I will not be one sniping at him from the sidelines as he makes his very difficult decisions in this UNPRECEDENTED situation and I'm optimistic that we will come out of this thing stronger than ever as a nation, and quickly too.

Agreed! Hindsight is 20/20. President Trump is doing perfectly, and so is his Administration. And there’s no such thing in reality as perfect in the Greco-Roman sense. So...perfect!
All of these critics would be shitting in their pants if they were in Trump’s position. They don’t impress me.
