Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is asking residents to tattle on their neighbors if they believe they are violating the governor’s stay-at-home order. Gov. They are the enemies of the people. They’re cry-babies. They’re corrupt. They’re biased. You all know this. They whined that there was no daily White House press briefing. Now, we have President Trump, Vice President Pence, and their team fighting the Wuhan coronavirus giving daily updates and now they’re complaining. There is a possibility that some liberal networks could cut the cord on airing these briefings (via Daily Beast): On the one hand, their ratings have never been higher, and viewers’ appetites for the live sessions have shown no signs of dwindling. On the other hand, journalists and executives at...

In order to understand the logic of the Chinese authorities, you need to know what China is. In modern China, there is not a traditional nation-state, but a party-state. They have no separation of powers as in Western countries. Nevertheless, there is still a particular division of power in China. Power in China is divided among several opposing communist groups. The most famous are the Communist Youth League (CYL) faction and the Shanghai faction. The CYL faction was significantly weakened in 2016 by the secretary-general of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Xi Jinping. Former CCP secretary-general Hu Jintao and current prime...

The unproven claim that an antimalarial drug can cure coronavirus - called a 'game-changer' and a 'gift from God' by Donald Trump - has been promoted by a crypto-currency lawyer who has made a string of bogus claims, DailyMail.com can reveal. Gregory Rigano made a series of Fox News and conservative and Christian radio appearances to tout the idea that chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine 'cures' conronavirus. The anti-malaria drug is now the subject of series of clinical trials, including in New York, where the state received 10,000 doses. It has been praised by Trump repeatedly - but the first time he...

As of this morning, New York reported over 33,000 cases of coronavirus, and 325 dead. The state, however, estimates that it is still two to three weeks away from suffering under the deluge of peak infection. Accordingly, the New York Times reports that the state has requested 85 refrigerated trailers from FEMA to house the anticipated number of bodies as a result of COVID-19. New York City has additionally purchased 45 refrigerated truck trailers on its own, Bloomberg says, with each one being able to hold 44 bodies, respectively: Michael Lanotte, executive director of the New York State Funeral Directors...

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume expressed his concerns over Thursday's "nerve-wracking" press briefing from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. Pelosi spoke to reporters on Thursday as the House of Representatives is set to vote on the $2 trillion emergency stimulus bill that was passed unanimously in the Senate late Wednesday night, but her presentation was not assuring, according to Hume. "Watching Nancy Pelosi brief on the coronavirus bill is nerve-wracking," Hume tweeted. "She keeps getting into sentences you wonder if she can ever get out of. She finishes most of them somehow, but they’re not always coherent."

British scientist Neil Ferguson ignited the world’s drastic response to the novel Wuhan coronavirus when he published the bombshell report predicting 2.2 million Americans and more than half a million Brits would be killed. After both the U.S. and U.K. governments effectively shut down their citizens and economies, Ferguson is walking back his doomsday scenarios. Ferguson’s report from Imperial College, which White House and other officials took seriously, said that if the U.S. and U.K. did not shut down for 18 months, and isolation measures were not taken, “we would expect a peak in mortality (daily deaths) to occur after approximately 3...

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, #EnemyOfThePeople. – Hat tip to the guys at the Conservative Treehouse for calling this one out. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is now heavily lobbying the Trump Administration to not move ahead with an executive order beefing up mandates on Big Pharma and other medical supply multi-national companies to bring their damn supply chains out of China and back to America. Because of course this is what the CofC is doing. The CofC is one of the most anti-Trump – and in this case, anti-America – institutions in the nation’s capital. It has used its...
