Great comparison. By now everyone knows that Bernie Sanders denied he is a communist. Well, 54 years ago so did Castro on Meet The Press. This is a short 20 second video clip of both Sanders denying he is communist, and then Castro denying it back in 1965. Castro & Sanders Both Deny They Are Communists If Communism is so great, why do those promoting and running it deny they are communist?

An African-American couple pulled their best Jussie Smollet impression by attacking their own car and blaming it on the Trumpers! As WREG reported an African-American Southaven couple said they woke up Tuesday morning to find racist graffiti had been spray-painted on two of their vehicles. Southaven Police confirmed they are investigating the reported vandalism on Marcia Louise Drive, and the FBI is also looking into the matter. The couple’s pickup truck has two N****** spray-painted on it. A car was painted with the phrase ‘Leave N******’ and ‘Trump.’ “This had to be unnerving for a quiet family to come out...

Posted on February 29, 2020February 29, 2020 by Msgr. Charles Pope Flee to the Truth When Tempted – A Homily for the First Sunday of Lent The Gospel today says that Jesus was tempted by the devil in the desert. Hebrews 4:15 also affirms, For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.How exactly a divine person, with a sinless human nature, experiences temptation is somewhat mysterious, and yet the text affirms that He does. A Lenten antiphon from...

During his speech to supporters following the primary results in South Carolina on Saturday, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg bragged about the amount of money he's "investing" to oust President Donald Trump from the White House come November. "Some of you may remember back in Philadelphia in 2016, I spoke at the Democratic Convention and warned that Donald Trump was not fit for office. In 2018, I worked to help hold him accountable by supporting candidates who flipped 21 seats in the House," he explained. "That made Nancy Pelosi speaker and allowed us to begin holding Donald Trump...

So angry? Yes, of course. Conservative? Probably not, given that most individuals don’t marry spouses with differing political opinions. Male? Yes. White? No. There are other uncomfortable facts. Ferrill built his own guns, according to neighbors, using parts ordered out of catalogs. There’s no evidence those guns were used in the shootings, mind you — but the idea of someone being able to make their own guns undercuts, in a very small way, the gun control argument. The point is, this just didn’t tick enough boxes for the left, so it’s been quickly falling off the radar. This is how...

A few weeks ago, we featured a pair of articles—one on miscarriage, and one on the effects of low progesterone—that both mentioned the term “chemical pregnancy.” But what exactly is a chemical pregnancy, and why is it even called that? How common are chemical pregnancies, and do women even know they’ve had them? Are they even “real” pregnancies? This week, we hope to answer some of the questions and clear up some of the misconceptions surrounding the common phenomenon known as chemical pregnancy. We’re also sharing the personal experience of Johanna, who has had a chemical pregnancy—a pregnancy she wouldn’t...

There seems to be quite a few opinions about COVID 19, or the corona virus. Some say it's not a threat...that it's no worse than the flu or the common cold. Others think that it may be the end of civilization as we know it. What is the truth? Let's look at one truth first. The truth is that governments all over the world are taking it very seriously. As President Trump has pointed out he banned travel to and from the affected regions of China long before anybody thought it was prudent. Early on he also instituted mass quarantines...

A University of Waikato archaeological scientist is helping rewrite the history of ancient human movement across the Pacific. Dr Fiona Petchey, working with archaeologists, has been using radiocarbon dating - technology that is now much more precise than when dating was first done 40 odd years ago. She has most recently worked with a researcher from Berkeley to date the ancient site of To'aga, on Ofu Island in American Samoa. The research showed the site had been settled nearly 500 years earlier, 2800 years ago, than had previously been thought. Dr Petchey told Don Wiseman there has been a lot...

Tens of millions of dollars owed to California's schools were never paid, according to a new audit of the state lottery commission.“The lottery has not provided required funding to education,” according to the audit released Tuesday. Part of the mandate in the creation of the California State Lottery was that money raised from lottery funds was supposed to go to the state's schools. According to the state auditor's report, the lottery is supposed to increase its funding in proportion to any increase in net revenue, meaning that the more money the lottery makes, the more it’s supposed to pay out to the...

Greta Thunberg’s mother, Malena Ernman is promoting her family’s new book, “Our House is on Fire: Scenes of a Family and a Planet in Crisis.” She is using her daughter’s story as a tool for publicity. If the phrase “our house is on fire” is familiar it is because Greta frequently uses it when speaking in public about climate change. The parents of Greta work in the entertainment industry so they crave the stage. Ernman is a well-known opera singer in Europe and Svante Thunberg, Greta’s father, is an actor. Both parents have essentially all but given up their own...

Tony Romo made about $127 million as an NFL quarterback. He's on his way to making more than that as an NFL broadcaster. CBS and Romo have agreed to a multi-year contract worth approximately $17 million per season, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via sources informed of the deal. The New York Post first reported the news. With Romo's rookie deal set to expire, CBS avoided a potential bidding war with the most coveted football broadcaster by making him the highest-paid ever. In fact, his new contract is worth about twice as much as the reported high of $8...

I've been wondering why, if a man in King Co., Washington State in his 50s has died of the Coronavirus, apparently the first case in the U.S., that we haven't been told the RACE or ETHNIC BACKGROUND of said individual. I mean, is he of Chinese extract, or from the Orient? Did he have any dealings with people from the Orient in recent weeks or months that would explain him having been exposed? Two people in a nursing home in Kirkland, WA have also tested positive. Neither has done any traveling in recent months. But obviously, there's a common denominator...

"Pray at all times in the Spirit" (Eph. 6:18). Spiritual victory is directly related to the quality of your prayer life. Prayer is communication with God, and like all communication, it can be developed to maximum efficiency or allowed to languish. Which you choose will determine the quality of your spiritual life. Ironically, the freedom of worship we enjoy in our society and our high standard of living make it easy to become complacent about prayer and presume on God's grace. Consequently, many who say they trust in God actually live as if they don't need Him at all. Such...
