After a gun rights rally in Richmond came and went last week without the "violence, rioting, and insurrection" predicted by Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, Talia Lavin could not believe her eyes, and she urged the rest of us not to believe our eyes either. "It seems myopic at best to describe the Monday event as 'peaceful,'" Lavin wrote in a GQ article about the rally, which attracted thousands of armed Second Amendment supporters energized by Northam's gun control agenda. Lavin's reality-bending assessment reflects a Manichean attitude, all too common among gun control supporters, that casts sincere policy disagreements as a...

Just when you think today’s politics couldn’t get any more nuts, liberal billionaire 2020 Democratic candidate Michael Bloomberg decided to promote “Big Gay Ice Cream.” The company being promoted, Big Gay Ice Cream, has about the same level of cringe as Kellogg’s LGBT-themed cereal. Their “best-known cone” is actually called “Salty Pimp.”

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem (Music in The Bible) Psalm 101 Psalm 101 Of David. A psalm. 1 I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Lord, I will sing praise. 2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart. 3 I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. 4 The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do...

What took them so long? I kid, I kid… Practically everyone who watched this jaw-dropping CNN segment from Saturday night ridiculing Donald Trump supporters knew it would get made into an ad. The RNC just needed enough time to string together a few more contributions from leading Democrats to make it into a compelling theme.Behold the new GOP ad, “They Think You’re a Joke.” Fact check: Devastatingly true. RNC chair Ronna Romney McDaniel has already rolled it out as a fundraiser, the Daily Wire reported last night: “CNN anchor Don Lemon, The New York Times’ Wajahat Ali and winless...

Pretty much as predicted yesterday, the Palestinians have started weighing in on the Trump administration’s proposed Middle East peace deal and it sounds like a non-starter for them. On the plus side, Israel has officially accepted the plan, but that’s not going to mean very much in the long run if they don’t have a viable partner on the other side willing to work with them. Israeli leaders have agreed to a framework for a Palestinian state that would see the new country more than double in size with its capital located in Eastern Jerusalem, according to information provided...

Elizabeth, a Salvadoran mother of three, had grown increasingly desperate after waiting nearly five months in the dangerous border city of Tijuana, Mexico, for her turn to seek asylum in the United States. She was told there was an easier way: Pay thousands of dollars and be led across the border with her three children, ages 18, 9 and 7. Instead, according to Elizabeth, they were brought to armed men who kidnapped them and took them briefly to a farm. Eventually, they told her they would separate her from her oldest daughter if they crossed the Rio Grande. “I got...

A right-wing evangelical pastor has claimed the coronavirus is God's 'death angel' and says parents 'transgendering little children' and 'the filth on our TVs and our movies' are to blame for the outbreak. Christian Pastor Rick Wiles, who is the creator of the TruNews streaming channel, described China as having a 'godless communist government,' in an attempt to explain why the country had been hit so badly by the virus. He noted, 'plagues are one of the last steps of judgment' and warned Americans to 'get right with God.' The deadly coronavirus has left 131 people dead, with confirmed infections...

President Donald John Trump:Two Presidents before him received Nobel Peace Prizes, the first for “his decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development.” Noble efforts indeed, but alas, not very successful. The other received it for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama’s vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons” – none of which he’d actually done at the time, unless you count a rather sophomoric college newspaper piece...

Donald Trump launched a vicious attack on John Bolton Wednesday, claiming Bolton 'begged' him for a job and wanted to take the country into 'World War Six' before writing his 'nasty & untrue book.' The president took to Twitter to throw his bombshells at his former National Security Adviser - a move that came after Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell warned his party he doesn't have the votes to prevent Democrats' from calling Bolton to the witness stand in Trump's impeachment trial. 'For a guy who couldn’t get approved for the Ambassador to the U.N. years ago, couldn’t get approved...

The combined endowment of the Ivy Leagues totaled $135 billion at the end 2018, a figure that will be considerably higher in 2019. Hence the sharp observation that they are hedge funds masquerading as universities. If only they were so benign. As these institutions never tire of reminding us or themselves, they educate the leaders of tomorrow, are led by renowned professors, make use of research, grants and publications to shape the contours of modern debate, and spread their influence through vast alumni networks. I write with particular interest in my alma mater, Yale, where I graduated many years ago...

You’ve got to hand it to the Democrats -- they can hold their caucus together for the flimsiest of causes. The GOP, though, has all these RINOs who have to establish their independence; they’re willing to break party unity when it serves their own ambitions. Three senators – Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, and Mitt Romney of Utah – are rumored to be willing for witnesses to be called in the impeachment trial now underway in the Senate. Obviously, such a slowdown benefits the Democrats, who want the impeachment to headline news reports as long as possible....

"[God] seated [Christ] at His right hand in the heavenly places" (Eph.1:20). Christ occupies the highest place of power, prominence, authority, and honor. To exalt someone is to elevate that person in status, dignity, power, and honor. As God, Jesus possesses all power and authority and is deserving of all honor and glory. But when He was on earth, most people refused to give Him the glory He deserved. Instead they mocked and eventually murdered Him. Just prior to His death, Jesus prayed to the Father, "Glorify Thou Me together with Thyself, Father, with the glory which I ever had...

A man who lives like a Victorian and claims to be one of England's most eligible bachelors has finally met the woman of his dreams who shares his passion for the 1800s. Michael Koropisz, 24, a classical portrait painter from Stockport, Greater Manchester, refuses to watch television and writes with a quill and ink. The Victorian enthusiast insists on living in the past by dressing strictly in clothes from the 19th century and filling his house with antiques. Despite getting odd glances from strangers, Michael claims that his unique lifestyle leaves him inundated with offers from the opposite sex -...

Baltimore, MD — In a scene that has been replicated thousands of times at abortion facilities across America, an ambulance and fire unit responded to a 911 call for help on December 18, 2019, when a woman who had undergone an abortion experienced “possibly dangerous” hemorrhage. This incident took place at the Baltimore Health Center Planned Parenthood, located near downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Heavily redacted 911 records, including a recording and CAD printout, supplied to Operation Rescue by the pro-life organization Defend Life, revealed little about the emergency, except that the call was placed by a Planned Parenthood worker going by...

Zombie Viruses. Drug-resistant fungi. “Super-shedding” animals. Even as officials around the world are scrambling to control a new and increasingly deadly coronavirus outbreak, public health and infectious disease experts are sounding the alarm about climate change making the risk of other novel afflictions much more explosive. In recent years, scientists have linked most emerging infectious diseases to animals, especially wildlife. Much of that wildlife is being displaced by global warming and habitat loss, putting stressed species that are more susceptible to infection in closer contact with humans. Global warming can accelerate displacement by thawing, burning, flooding, or drying out habitats...

There has been a lot of water under the bridge since 2013 when CBS News first publicly announced the forensic evidence proving I was victimized by a long-term, remote effort to illegally spy on me and my CBS work through my computers. (You can watch the original news story below):CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO A half dozen independent forensics exams later, with uninvited government IP addresses definitively identified as pathways into my computers, with forensic testimony from a former NSA specialist, with a sworn statement of confirmation from a former FBI Unit chief, and with a former federal agent confessing to...

Democrats impeached President Donald Trump for putting his own political fortunes ahead of the national interest in dealing with Ukraine. But it's Joe Biden who should be in the hot seat for that. Trump is criticized for a July 25 phone call, when he asked the president of Ukraine for help investigating what Joe Biden did, as vice president, to get a prosecutor there fired. Biden's son was on the payroll of a corrupt Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, targeted by authorities. Democrats claim it was wrong to ask for the investigation. Trump's defense lawyers say there was every reason to...

FOX Sports apparently has no problem airing controversial ads during the 2020 Super Bowl — just not a pro-life commercial. According to NBC News, this year’s big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will include a commercial featuring drag queens/LGBTQ activists. Meanwhile, pro-life advocates with the new Faces of Choice organization said they have been waiting at least six months for an answer from FOX about their ad. The drag queen ad from Sabra hummus already is stirring up controversy. It features drag queens Kim Chi and Miz Cracker from “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” LGBTQ marketing...

Sen. Mitt Romney, a Utah Republican, was caught drinking chocolate milk out of a bottle on the Senate floor on Tuesday afternoon - a breach of the Senate impeachment trial rules. Under those rules, senators are only allowed to drink milk and water, and the beverages must be consumed out of a glass. A Senate aide informed Romney that he was in violation of the rules and the senator left the chamber with the bottle, returning with the chocolate milk in a glass, The Wall Street Journal reported. The glass was inspected and Romney was allowed to enter with it....
