MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle warned viewers before a break Tuesday that an upcoming segment would have "bad news for Democrats," a rare example of a daytime host acknowledging the liberal bent of the network's viewership. "President Trump's official merchandise bringing in more than just big bucks," she said. "I'm going to walk you through. There is a math to this madness. It is all part of the Trump campaign's digital strategy, and I warn you, it is bad news for Democrats." The left-leaning cable network draws a liberal audience, but Ruhle apparently making a nod to that fact on her...

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on Tuesday blasted right-wing commentators who have questioned National Security Council official Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman’s loyalty, calling such pundits “chickenshit.” After it was reported that Vindman would testify to Congress that he twice raised concerns to his superiors over President Trump’s infamous July call to the Ukrainian president, Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Brian Kilmeade, ex-Bush Administration official John Yoo, and CNN contributor Sean Duffy all suggested Vindman was a Ukrainian double agent. After playing a clip of Yoo claiming “some people might call [Vindman’s actions] espionage,” Wallace railed: “Except those people aren’t chickenshit...

Is that really all there is? – Some low-level flunky in the U.S. diplomatic corps claims to have been “concerned” about the July 25 call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, and therefore we are supposed to support the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment circus? Yeaaaahhhhhh….no. Not buying any of it. Sorry. God bless Mr. Vindman for his military service, but can we please get him out of our diplomatic service? Because, obviously his feelings are far too fragile to be a part of that difficult line of work. Literally, the only thing Vindman said in his opening...

In pursuit of the ever-popular Beltway sport of False Equivalence, it’s common to see today’s left-bent resistance to Donald Trump compared to right-wing extremist movements of the recent past, from the tea party movement to precincts further off in the fever swamps. This sort of talk is often the product of laziness or malice. But now and then something happens that makes left-right parallels unavoidable and accurate. One such incident, surprisingly, comes from the loose lips of a member of Congress, New York’s Tom Suozzi. According to the New York Post, the Nassau County Democrat had this to say about...
