In a sign that the right-wing media's relentless defense of President Donald Trump may be cracking, Fox News host Tucker Carlson published an op-ed with Daily Caller co-founder and publisher Neil Patel zinging Trump for his call with Ukraine's president. "Donald Trump should not have been on the phone with a foreign head of state encouraging another country to investigate his political opponent, Joe Biden," Carlson and Patel wrote. "Some Republicans are trying, but there's no way to spin this as a good idea." Carlson and Patel added, "Like a lot of things Trump does, it was pretty over-the-top. Our...

Without a doubt, President Donald Trump has a lot of enemies in DC, both political and real — and sadly, some of them are supposedly members of his own party. The president has been under siege, literally, since before he took office in January 2017. Since then, he’s had to endure withering attacks on his motives, his character, his policies, and his family, up to and including an outright attempt to remove him from office and, if the deep state can manage, to throw him in jail afterward.

I am curious, how do you tell a grandchild (or child if you are younger) to not use profane language when the President of the US and many other public figures use profanity regularly?— Jeb Bush (@JebBush) October 5, 2019

Full-blown panic ensued in the fake news media when it was announced that U.S. Attorney General William Barr was in Italy meeting with government officials about the role of Italian intelligence in what has become popularly known as “Russiagate,” the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

- Maine event salutes education summit under George HW Bush - Bush draws laughs by doubting Trump’s attention span As an impeachment storm raged in Washington, former president Bill Clinton and former Florida governor Jeb Bush, son and brother to presidents, sought calmer waters in Maine. The two men appeared together at the University of New England in Biddeford on Friday, to mark the 30th anniversary of a two-day education “summit” held by President George HW Bush in 1989. All but one state governor attended that meeting, Clinton representing Arkansas three years before he beat Bush for the White House....

KEY POINTS President Donald Trump on Saturday morning slammed U.S. Senator Mitt Romney on his Twitter account. Trump also once again defended as “appropriate” a July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said at Northwestern University on Thursday that the House Democrats “might be forced to move forward on impeaching President Donald Trump before being able to ‘flesh out the facts,’” which he blamed on the White House’s “obstructionist acts and delay tactics.” The Chicago Tribune led its reporting on Schiff’s speech at the college – known for its journalism programs – with Schiff’s claim, despite the fact that the when Democrats raised concerns about the president’s phone conversation with the Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Trump released the transcript from the call. The Tribune reported on Schiff’s claim...

While President Donald Trump has been cleared of charges of Russian collusion, there is a better case of Russian collusion to be made against another U.S. leader: former Vice President Joe Biden. An investigation into Biden’s Russian ties is long overdue and urgent, as he is likely to declare his campaign for the Democratic Party presidential nomination sometime soon. While widely regarded as the moderate face of the Democratic Party, that perception might change quickly if more people were aware of his past work to further the interests of the former Soviet Union and Russia. Biden visited the Soviet Union...

A copperhead snake was left dead after getting a taste of ‘claw enforcement’ from a cat who protected her 81-year-old owner from the unwanted venomous intruder. The incident took place in Speedwell, Tennessee last week, where Jimmie Nelson lives with Shelly, his adopted shelter cat. Nelson says he heard a noise in the middle of the night. At the time, he thought it was just Shelly being playful. Two days later, however, he realized what the commotion was about.

Revelations that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s son, like former Vice-President Joe Biden’s son, had a cozy deal with a Ukrainian oil company bolstered her determination to press ahead with impeachment of President Trump. “There is a clear pattern of abuse of power here,” the Speaker alleged. “As President Trump knows, the compensation paid to members of Congress is far below adequate for their station in life. Yet, he viciously attacks the time-honored means that every other administration has accepted to overcome this inequity.” “Trump has billions of dollars with which to support the members of his family—giving cushy jobs to...

Turkey’s president, in his strongest warning yet, threatened Saturday to launch a military operation into northeastern Syria, where U.S. troops are deployed and have been trying to defuse tensions between Washington’s two allies — Turkey and the Syrian Kurds. Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s threats were a warning that a U.S.-Turkish deal to secure Syria’s troubled border with Turkey was faltering. He said a Turkish military operation against the U.S-backed Kurdish forces could begin “maybe today, maybe tomorrow.” The Turkish military has been dispatching units and defense equipment to southeastern Sanliurfa province in the past month. Erdogan had expressed frustration, threatening a...

President Trump exhibited a "proper exercise of power" when he asked for information on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden from Ukraine's president, Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett said Saturday. Appearing on "Fox & Friends" with host Griff Jenkins, Jarrett said the president "had every right to ask Ukraine to look into" whether Biden's son's work in Ukraine during his time in office represented a conflict of interest. "If the president is aware of potential evidence in the hands of a foreign government that a U.S. official, Joe Biden, misused his office to confer a...

As President Trump faces an impeachment inquiry over how he handled a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin said he wants to see former President Barack Obama's calls with world leaders for a proper comparison. "There's a lot about these calls that are strange, in the sense that we have no basis for comparison. We don’t know what presidents say to foreign leaders," he told "Fox & Friends" on Tuesday. "Only under Donald Trump have we gotten these transcripts either released or leaked. And I would love to know what did Barack Obama...

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6 NIV When you are a Pubbie in Moscow on the Potomac you have two choices, win ugly or lose graciously and the Party has been very gracious over the decades. These swamp creatures are fighting for their lives as you see crook after crook being exposed for who and what they are. Slow Joe is not going to survive this scandal since he...
