Conservative member of Parliament Boris Johnson, who campaigned to leave the EU., is the clear favorite to replace May among bookmakers and party members, though he faces several challenges. Trump described Johnson, a former mayor of London, as a friend during his visit to the U.K. in 2018. The U.S. president also said Johnson would make a good prime minister, comments that irritated May at the time and for which he apologized. The delayed Brexit process and the widespread hatred of May’s deal triggered a surge in support for the populist leader Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, which is set to...

As President Trump ordered the intelligence community and others to fully cooperate with DOJ Attorney General William Barr in his investigation into the FBI’s probe of the 2016 presidential election, a key piece of evidence may reside in the early unmasking of Americans private communications, according to Sara Carter. Carter pointed this out in her appearance Thursday night on Hannity, with guest host Dan Bongino. Carter noted former UN Ambassador Samantha Power who unmasked nearly 300 people. These names will surprise Americans if they were to be made public, according to Carter. Earlier, Carter reported on this news site...

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed into law Thursday a measure outlawing the sale or possession of child-like sex dolls that lawmakers argue promote sexual urges among pedophiles. However, some groups have argued just the opposite, saying those dolls can help prevent pedophiles from acting on those urges with actual children. The legislation (SB 160) was sponsored by Sen. Lauren Book and was unanimously approved by both houses of the Legislature. Rep. Michael Gottlieb filed a companion measure in the House (HB 1107). “A person may not knowingly sell, lend, give away, distribute, transmit, show, or transmute … an obscene, child-like sex...

LONDON — Only one person, the joke doing the rounds in Parliament goes, can stop the disheveled, blond-haired, crowd-pleasing former foreign secretary, Boris Johnson, from becoming the country’s next prime minister. That is Mr. Johnson himself. One of Britain’s most recognizable, and now most divisive politicians, Mr. Johnson has a history of verbal gaffes, a poor record as a minister and many enemies in Parliament, not to mention among the voters who reject Brexit, which he helped persuade Britons to embrace in a 2016 referendum. But his charisma, flair for publicity and record of winning two elections as mayor of...

President Trump’s scorched-earth offensive against congressional Democrats this week is a clear sign he sees his path to reelection as being paved through battles with his opponents more than collaboration. The president’s decisions to walk out of a White House meeting on infrastructure and to belittle and poke Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) with personal attacks are likely to excite Trump supporters who like nothing more than his confrontations with the establishment. “Donald Trump is a fighter, there’s no ambiguity about that, and he’s going to fight for what he believes in,” said Bryan Lanza, a former Trump campaign and transition...

In December 2015 a report surfaced that Barack Obama intercepted communications between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US lawmakers. The Obama White House targeted Netanyahu because he opposed their insane nuclear deal with the Iranian regime. Obama later ordered Secretary of State John Kerry and UN Ambassador Samantha Power to snub Netanyahu at the UN. The Obama administration spent $350,000 trying to oust Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from office. In May 2011 Barack Obama urged Israel to hand over half of Jerusalem, the Wailing Wall, The Temple Mount, Old Jerusalem, and the tomb of Jesus Christ to the...

Joy Reid billed Rick Wilson as a Republican "media strategist." A more apt term might be "sadist," or perhaps "ghoul." Wilson appeared on Reid's MSNBC show this morning to discuss the possible impeachment of President Trump. He began by analogizing Trump to the homicidal OJ Simpson, warning that Simpson "got away with it." Wilson urged Dems to adopt a go-slow approach to impeachment. Three times, he advised them to up the Trump admin "body count," while encouraging Dems to inflict a "death of 1,000 cuts," and to "raise the pain level."Get the rest of the story and view the video...

Francis Approves Missal Containing Serious Mistakes Pope Francis allowed the publication of a new “translation” of the Italian Missal, Perugia Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti informed the general assembly of the Italian Bishops on May 20. Among its major falsifications is a phantasy-translation of the Our Father. Instead of “do not lead us into temptation” the Italian Francis Church will say “don’t abandon us to temptation.” Another falsehood is introduced into the Gloria. “On earth peace to people of good will” will be replaced in the Francis-Church by “on earth peace to the people, loved by God.” The correction of the words...

Theologian responds to criticisms of letter to bishops concerning heresies of Pope Francis May 24, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — In the recent “Open letter to the bishops of the Catholic Church,” a number of Catholics accused Pope Francis of the canonical delict of heresy and asked the bishops to take action to address this situation. The letter has not surprisingly been the target of a number of criticisms. These criticisms are not always easy for the general Catholic reader to assess, because the document is long, precisely rather than accessibly formulated, and sometimes technical in its language. These features of the...

CNN’s Anderson Cooper had some tough questions for Facebook’s Head of Global Policy Management Monika Bickert in an an interview that aired on Friday night, at one point telling her if the social media giant is going to be in the news business “you’ve got to do it right.” Cooper started off the video by pointing out that a doctored video of Nancy Pelosi appearing to be drunk has been spread over a million times on the social media site even though Facebook is aware it is a fake. “They’re not even commenting on it,” he said, before introducing Bickert,...

Full Header: "An insider at the San Francisco psychiatrist association convention gives us a whiff of why they're called 'shrinks'" Remember the golden era of blogging, around 2005 or so, when blogging was really good? Back then, people who were experts, or else really, really, observant, blogged with photos and told us all about the world around them, observing the absurdities the media was missing. Think of the all-time greats, such as Zombietime, or Tim Blair, or well, you probably have some favorites. It's not there much anymore, but happily, there are still some instances of this kind of blogging...

I sit down on a plush, blue-grey booth seat and admire the freshly cut daisies on the table in front of me. It’s a rainy day in Fort Wayne, Indiana, so the warmth of the spicy crispy chicken sandwich I prepare to sink my teeth into enlivens me. Unthinkingly, I tune in to a conversation happening at a window table to my right. “Here at Chick-fil-A, we treat our colleagues in the back kitchen as well as we treat our customers,” I overhear a supervisor sharing with a new employee. I smile to myself as I consider how this rule...
