Revealed: Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Betrayed President Trump – Recommended FBI Director Chris Wray.. (Full title). ... Former US Attorney Joe DiGenova identified the culprit who betrayed President Trump and recommended Christopher Wray as the replacement for James Comey. It is crucial that the origins of the Russia investigation involving members of the Trump campaign be known. What was the impetus of the two-year probe into those in Trump’s sphere? Why were Trump associates spied on? Why was a document paid for by Democrats, using Russian resources, used in a FISA court to justify surveillance of Trump’s team? To answer these questions and more, Attorney General William Barr has appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham to conduct an inquiry. As the Associated Press reported, the inquiry will focus on whether the government’s methods to collect intelligence relating to the Trump...

Archaeologist Jinu Koshy has found thousands of rock drawings in Andhra Pradesh – including some of marsupials. How did it land there? And why? An upright standing creature that archaeologist Jinu Koshy believes to be a marsupial. | Anupama Chandrasekaran The landscape was a geological crumb cake – a ruddy tableland bristling with boulders, rocks and pebbles. Every step that archaeologist Jinu Koshy took was like a shuffle dance.A short while into the trek, echoes of bleating goats boomeranged, signalling an approaching ravine. Koshy stood at the nibbled edge of the chasm, looking for rock shelters. It was the 42-year-old archaeologist’s...

There was a time in American history -- nearly all of it up to the presidency of Woodrow Wilson -- when the federal government followed basic constitutional norms. With some unique and discrete exceptions, like the Civil War, Congress wrote the laws, the president enforced them, whether he agreed with them or not, and the judiciary interpreted them and assessed their compatibility to the Constitution. This is the separation of powers. My late friend Justice Antonin Scalia often argued that the constitutionally mandated separation of powers is the most uniquely American and liberty-ensuring aspect of the Constitution. James Madison, who...

[Catholic Caucus] Maradiaga, the Leader of the Mafia On May 1st, Crisis magazine published an article by Julia Meloni on the open letter accusing Pope Francis of heresy. We believe in it is gathered some important information regarding Cardinal Maradiaga, the man, one could say, who did most Mammon could do to elect Cardinal Bergoglio pope in 2013. For the record of future events, we reprint below the portions of that article dealing specifically with Maradiaga's activities. As the man behind the curtain in this Pontificate, it is useful to know what he does and what he did: On...

In one of the most compelling scenes of the 2006 movie "Bella," a handsome and charismatic soccer player named Jose is driving through a New York City neighborhood with his manager, Eduardo, on his way to sign a multimillion-dollar professional soccer contract. The camera suddenly cuts away to a young woman filming her toddler daughter, Loochi, as they play hide-and-seek in their backyard nearby. Loochi looks for a place to hide while her mother closes her eyes and laughingly counts. Loochi runs away from her yard, through the gate and between two buildings, through which viewers can now see the...

One of the things that separates leftists from normal people is their passion for political power. It is all-consuming. Among other things, this gives the Left the ability to plot and plan well in advance. This is clearly evidenced by leftists' patient march through American institutions. This was done not in one fell swoop, but step by step through the years. In solidifying their gains, the liberals are hyper-vigilant to any regression from what they've achieved in a way conservatives can only envy. A recent little noticed U.S. Supreme Court decision illustrates this latter point. This was Franchise Tax Board...

The playful, stainless steel, 41 in (104 cm) high rabbit, regarded as one of the most celebrated works of 20th-century art, was sold for more than $20 million over its pre-sale estimate. Christie's said the sale made Koons the highest-priced living artist, overtaking the $90.3 million record set last November by British painter David Hockney's 1972 work "Portrait of an Artist (Pool With Two Figures.)" The shiny, faceless oversized rabbit, clutching a carrot, is the second in an edition of three made by Koons in 1986.

With as many as four million migrants vowing to enter the U.S. illegally in 2019, nearly 100,000 apprehended in April alone, and 168,000 "families" released into the U.S. interior this year, the surge is on. President Trump is working at breakneck speed to get some semblance of a wall built, particularly at the critical crossing areas. According to a report from Townhall's Katie Pavlich, citing official Homeland Security releases, waivers are being issued to permit wall construction now. The Department of Homeland Security announced the issuance of two waivers Wednesday morning in order to expedite the construction of new border wall in parts...

The bewildering claim by Democratic presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden this week that that "there wasn't a single, solitary hint of scandal" during the Obama-Biden administration may help explain why President Trump refers to Biden as Sleepy Joe. Biden must have slept through the eight years of scandals that resulted in American deaths at home and abroad, the weaponization of our executive branch agencies, and the compromise of our classified information when he served as vice president under President Barack Obama. Try telling the family of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry that the Obama-Biden administration was...

There was a time when there were real liberals on the Left. That is, people who believed in liberty. Their disagreements with conservatives were profound, but they shared a commitment to free speech, religious liberty, and more. Today, however, those traditional liberals are nowhere to be found. The hard, authoritarian Left dominates Democratic politics. That is obvious on a number of issues, especially abortion. Consider the argument of Alabama State Representative John Rogers: “You bring them in the world unwanted, unloved, you send them to the electric chair. So, you kill them now or you kill them later.” Moreover, “some...

The two counts for which I have just received a presidential pardon, and of which I was “convicted” in 2011, after the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously vacated them, only to have a self-serving appellate judge reinstate them, were for wire fraud and obstruction of justice. The alleged fraud was reception of $285,000 in my office in Toronto while I was in England, from our American company, which was approved by independent directors, referred to in public filings of the corporation, but which the company secretary had not completely formalized, in what the trial judge correctly regarded, in the secretary’s case,...

“‘Pray, then, in this way’” (Matthew 6:9). Over the years people have had misunderstandings about the Lord’s Prayer (more accurately, the Disciples’ Prayer) that need correcting. First, Jesus’ words were not meant to be repeated as a formal prayer. The disciples had asked Him how to pray, not what to pray. And He hardly would have given them a prayer to recite after He had just warned against “meaningless repetition” (v. 7). Second, people often don’t realize that Jesus’ teaching here is simply a skeleton or pattern for prayer. As believers, we are to flesh out the skeleton with our...

Polling firm Zogby just released a new survey gauging POTUS Donald Trump’s popularity and overall job approval rating and, let’s just say, it isn’t going to make former President Obama or Democrats smile. The survey found that the president’s job approval has climbed to 51 percent, the highest of his tenure thus far and higher than Obama’s (48 percent) was at the same time in his failed, scandal-ridden presidency. What’s really noteworthy about the latest Zogby findings, however, is where the president is drawing a lot of his support.
