You already know AOC is just a puppet. This video is a nice breakdown of the people controlling the strings. Well worth watching , IMO The guy who does these videos is a good script writer, so his videos are generally quite watchable

The US Government has been scorned for lifting its ban on experiments to engineer bird flu which could infect humans. Research into viruses will soon be allowed to carry on, despite experts warning people could die if the pathogens break out of laboratories.

Former Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen lied to Congress about a Trump Tower project in Moscow and he's going to jail for it in a few months. So, "we shouldn't be surprised that he lied again" when he showed up to testify on Capitol Hill last week, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) noted Friday on Fox News. Democrats have been trying to find evidence against Trump that could be grounds for impeachment. Or at least it sure seems that way. But, as it's looking more and more like special counsel Robert Mueller's report is going to say there's not one shred...

Caught a case of the bad weather blues? If so, you aren't alone. Severe winter weather is rearing its ugly head across the country and chilling the U.S. economy. So far this month, four of six major economic reports have cited the harsh winter as putting the damper on output and sales. Three of the four reports blaming the weather came in worse than expected. (Read more: Is winter weather really burying the economy?) Here's a look at weather references in recent reports. January ISM manufacturing This report disappointed when it was released Monday, registering at 51.3 versus economists expectations...

...Because He’s Not President Anymore"Former President Barack Obama made some nasty comments this week about the United States and President Donald Trump while delivering remarks in another country. Obama suggested that America wouldn’t be able to handle a crisis with “common sense,” later adding that the world would be much better off if there were “a million Barack’s” in the world.[snip]After arrogantly trashing the Trump administration and U.S., Obama then claimed that the world’s future would be much brighter if there were a million prototypes of himself and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Expectations among Democrats are sky-high as reports have emerged about special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation coming to an end. In fact, expectations are so intense among some elderly, ill critics of the president that they say they want to try to hang on to see how the story all turns out. As a World War II veteran, Mitchell Tendler had been part of the forces that fought Nazism. And he lived through many historical milestones of the 20th century: the Korean War, then Vietnam, Watergate and the impeachment of President Bill Clinton...

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar ripped former President Barack Obama in an interview published Friday, belittling his "pretty face" and saying his agenda of hope and change was an illusion. She cited the "caging of kids" at the Mexican border and the "droning of countries around the world" on Obama's watch — and argued that he wasn’t much different from President Trump

The Mueller Report, written by Mueller himself with a forward by Alan Dershowitz, a seeming Trump ally (perhaps) is now on pre-sale via Amazon. How can this be? Legally, the report must first be submitted to Barr, who will then decide what will or will not be released to Congress/Public?.....I have been trying make sense of this for many days.....and the only logical conclusion I can come to is that the Mueller Investigation really may be one of the largest sting operations in our history.....I hope I am correct.

WASHINGTON – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign arm sent out a fundraising plea minutes before Thursday’s House vote on an anti-hatred resolution, asking for dollars to defend her and liberal allies Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. “It’s official – AIPAC is coming after Alexandria, Ilhan and Rashida,” the email began, referring to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. “Rashida, Ilhan and Alexandria have at times dared to question our foreign policy, and the influence of money in our political system. And now, lobbying groups across the board are working to punish them for it.” The House passed a resolution Thursday afternoon...

“At the very root of the modern liberal movement is the loss of the consciousness of sin.” –J. Gresham Machen (p.64) I’ve been working my way through a new series entitled “The 10 Commandments of Progressive Christianity.” It’s an examination of 10 core tenets of progressive (or liberal) Christianity offered by Richard Rohr, but really based on the book by Philip Gulley. We come now to the second of these tenets: “Affirming people’s potential is more important than reminding them of their brokenness.” The core issue in this second tenet is the issue of sin. Are people sinners? If so,...

“Dutch author and sociologist Ruud Koopmans said this week that Muslims are more difficult to integrate into Western society than other migrant groups because of a literal interpretation of the Quran prevalent among Muslims.” Koopmans called this a “threat to world peace.” Most Muslims agree that “Muslims should return to the roots of Islam,” while a whopping “75 percent think there is only one interpretation of the Qur’an possible to which every Muslim should stick.” That interpretation is normative Islam, and the one that resulted in over 11 million Muslims being murdered for not being Muslim enough since 1948, along...

Serious question: Does Pelosi think Omar is mentally disabled? Watching this clip after yesterday’s spin, I feel like tomorrow she’s going to tell us that Omar is developmentally the equivalent of a four-year-old. “No, really, I caught her playing with dolls during a caucus meeting once. We’re going to hire someone to watch her during the day.”

The blast radius from the alleged racist and homophobic attack on Jussie Smollett continues to grow – and we don’t mean the actor’s future on Empire or his next court appearance. As Smollett faces multiple felony charges for supposedly staging the widely reviled assault at the end of January, the Chicago Police Department has now opened a probe into leaks that came from its officers and officials during the early days of the case. “An internal investigation has been opened,” the Windy City’ cops’ Sgt. Rocco Alioto confirmed to Deadline on Friday. “I would like to point out that a...

In an ideal world, the president of the United States would succeed in negotiating a nuclear arms treaty with a foreign government — and do so with full congressional support; his lawyer would respect the attorney-client privilege and not reveal confidences publicly; Congress would abide the old adage that politics ends where the water’s edge begins and lie low when the president is overseas on a delicate mission; the president would not engage in a grievous constitutional over-reach that provokes a congressional negation; no one in his administration would have a top-secret security clearance who failed to be truthful to...

Dozens of employees at Northwestern Hospital have been terminated for allegedly accessing Jussie Smollett’s medical records. Smollett was taken to the Chicago medical facility following his alleged attack by two men back in January. The Empire actor, who is currently out on bail, has since been charged with disorderly conduct and filing a false report, a felony. Smollett’s legal team, however, told ESSENCE in a statement that they will “mount an aggressive defense.” The hospital employees are alleged to have gained access to Smollett’s medical chart after Chicago police and prosecutors claimed the actor staged his January 29 attack, CBS2...

Tools designed to fight trolls are being used to crack down on dissent "All the army forces inside and outside the barracks, assemble," the Facebook post reads. "Read our commands carefully before the raid." A few lines later. "Don't comment. Don't curse. Just report them." It's military talk, but they're not soldiers. It's a Facebook raid, conducted on July 12th against an independent Vietnamese news site called the Khmer Krom News. Below the post, dozens of comments weigh in with support: "Damn them, let’s finish them off," and "I set up dozens of accounts for this =))" "DON'T COMMENT. DON'T...

Carmine J. Persico, the unpredictable leader of the New York-based Colombo crime family who the authorities believe had a strong hand in the assassinations of the mob bosses Albert Anastasia and Joey Gallo, died a prisoner on Thursday in a hospital in Durham, N.C. He was 85. His lawyer, Benson Weintraub, confirmed the death, at Duke University Medical Center, but said he did not know the cause. Mr. Persico was serving a combined 139-year sentence at a nearby federal prison, in Butner, N.C. Mr. Weintraub had been representing Mr. Persico in litigation against the Bureau of Prisons. Mr. Persico contended...

The Iowa Supreme Court ruled that the state's Medicaid program must cover sex reassignment surgery for transgender people. The court ruled Friday that the Iowa Department of Human Services discriminated against two women by denying their Medicaid claims for transition-related care. “The ruling means that many transgender Iowans will be able to obtain life-saving medical care that they were unable to get in the past," said John Knight with the American Civil Liberties Union, which represented the women. The state argued that transition-related surgeries were not covered by Medicaid because they were "cosmetic, reconstructive or plastic surgery." It specifically banned...
