A Milwaukee man arrested on a charge of trying to buy machine guns to carry out an attack on a Masonic temple to "defend Islam" had first wanted to travel to the Middle East and kill Israelis but abandoned that plan as unworkable, federal agents said in court documents. Federal prosecutors charged 23-year-old Samy Mohamed Hamzeh on Tuesday with unlawfully possessing a machine gun and receiving and possessing firearms not registered to him. ...

Could the Hillary Clinton e-mail saga end with FBI Director James Comey resigning in protest? Ken Cuccinelli, the former attorney general of Virginia, knows the laws regarding classified information firsthand. In his private practice, Cuccinelli defended a Marine lieutenant colonel court martialed on charges of possessing such information outside a secure facility. He says Clinton’s actions in the e-mail scandal clearly satisfy all five requirements necessary to sustain charges of mishandling classified material, and constitute a breach perhaps even more glaring than the one for which General David Petraeus was convicted.

U.S. stocks moved back into the red Wednesday after the Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged and said "economic growth slowed" since its last meeting in December. "Inflation is expected to remain low in the near term," the Fed said in new, more cautious language, that suggests the central bank won't be quick to raise interest rates again. "Lower oil prices and weak global economic growth would make the Fed more cautious about its tightening policy. The second interest rate increase in March has become unlikely," said Jia Liu, research fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research in emailed...

Even though I beat him in the first six debates, especially the last one, Ted Cruz wants to debate me again. Can we do it in Canada?

EXCERPTS Welcome to THE KELLY FILE, everyone. I'm Megyn Kelly. Just ten night from right now at this very hour, ten republican candidates from a field of 16 will stand on a stage in Cleveland, Ohio. (snip) Joining me now, FOX News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt who is intimately involved in the debate process, as I can attest firsthand working with you at length and already today, we had a lengthy meeting doing one of the most important things you can do in the presidential process which is to come up with questions for these guys and potentially gal,...

In Jesus' high priestly prayer in John 17, He says: "And now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was" (v. 5). Here Jesus alludes to a position He held before creation. It is a tacit claim to His participation in the eternal glory of God. In the fourth century, the church faced a serious crisis with respect to the deity of Christ. The Arian heretics denied the deity of Christ, claiming that Jesus was a creature who was adopted into a special relationship with God. In their controversy with...

Another nice catch from the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross brings into sharp relief another aspect of the danger to national security that Hillary Clinton’s secret e-mail system created. Chief of staff Cheryl Mills lost her Blackberry in March 2010, a little over a year into Hillary’s tenure at State, which had been used with the unauthorized and non-secure homebrew Hillary server. She reached out to the State Department to inform a familiar figure of the loss: Records obtained by The Daily Caller through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit show [Cheryl] Mills revealed that she lost her Blackberry in...

A vulture that flew across the border between Israel and Lebanon was captured on suspicion of being a spy. The vulture was attached with a tracking device from Tel Aviv University, raising the suspicions of residents of Lebanese town Bint Jbail who captured the bird. "[Locals in Lebanon] caught the bird for sure," bird ecologist Ohad Hatzofe said according to CNN. "They were holding the bird in their hands." Staff at Gamla Nature Reserve were able to track the vulture as it crossed the border but lost signal shortly after the bird entered Bint Jbeil. The bird had been allowed...

Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly said Wednesday she will be "surprised" if Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump sticks to his decision to skip the network's GOP debate tomorrow night. Trump's campaign announced Wednesday evening he would not be participating in the seventh Republican primary debate after Fox mocked him for questioning Kelly's objectivity. Instead, the billionaire will host a fundraiser in Iowa for veterans and the Wounded Warrior Project. "I'll be surprised if he doesn't come," Kelly said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "I know he says he doesn't want to now, but I'll really be surprised because I...

Bernie Sanders is right about one thing: Hillary Clinton is Wall Street's candidate of choice. It's where she has been leading the real "War on Women" with the good old boys for years. Today, American women earn more bachelor's, associate's, graduate, and doctoral degrees than men. They also open small businesses and create jobs at record rates. Small businesses, entrepreneurship, and risk-taking have long been the engines that have driven the American economy. So why did liberals start waging an all out assault on these foundational values the very moment women rose to parity with men in these measurements? Do...

The new guidelines, updated for the first time since 2009 and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, come from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force—an independent volunteer panel of primary care doctors that makes prevention-based medical recommendations. The panel previously advised that adults should be screened for depression when mental health services were available, a limitation the panel says is no longer needed now that screening services are more widely available and accepted as a part of mental health care. Better yet, the panel gave its recommendation a "B" grading, which means depression screening must be covered...

Hello folks. Taxcontrol here and I am taking over the Brewer/Vintner ping list from Red_Devil 232. The list is for all that work with yeast to produce alcohol. So Beer, Wine, Mead, Spirits, even fuel producers are all welcome. So some questions: - I am going to assume that you want to be on the list unless you tell me otherwise - How often is an approprite regularly scheduled ping to the list (any time a relevant article is posted, weekly, bi weekly, monthly)? - How often should we cover recipes and when? Friday perhaps? - any other thoughts or...

For years MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews has accused conservatives and Republicans of opposing Barack Obama simply because he's the country‘s first black president and therefore, they're a bunch of racists. "Who‘s going to watch a debate between the two Cuban guys? Who‘s gonna watch a debate between Rubio, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz? Who cares!" Matthews said on his show Tuesday night.

For months now, angry strangers have been showing up at Christina Lee and Michael Saba's front door with a curious demand: "Give me back my stolen phone!" Sometimes, families will show up; other times, it's groups of friends or a random person with a police officer in tow, according to Fusion. Despite using different service providers, everyone who bangs on their door has been led to the suburban Atlanta home by a phone-tracking app. The problem -- as the couple desperately tries to explain visitors -- is that the missing phones aren't at the house and never have been. They...

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump's Twitter squad is pushing the idea that Donald Trump rage-quitting the Fox News debate because he thinks Megyn Kelly is mean to him makes him as presidential as Ronald Reagan, because Reagan also skipped a GOP debate in Iowa. For all his faults, Ronald Reagan ran a campaign of optimism and small government in 1980. That campaign ended in a landslide over incumbent Jimmy "malaise forever" Carter. No one would mistake the "Trump train" and its never-ending anger, xenophobia, and even class envy for a campaign of optimism. Sure, Trump, like Reagan, wants to "make...

The former first daughter, 35, has not been shy about her political ambitions, though where she'd begin her career in politics is anyone's guess. Last March, Chelsea reportedly told Sky News that she'd "absolutely" consider seeking office. "She's clearly politically adept," says our Clinton supporter. "People at these rallies think she's prime for a run." Wednesday night's Chelsea Clinton event is being co-hosted by tennis great Billie Jean King and billed as an "LGBT reception." Gay rights were also very much on Chelsea's mind at last week's fund-raiser, where she assured donors that her mom would use executive action to...

Attempting to describe Donald Trump in conventional political terms is like trying to explain a smart phone app to a Neanderthal. Despite the candidate's claim to be "conservative," looking at Trump's "political" past, one would find ample support for policies at the heart of an avowed leftist; including progressive taxation, gun control, and single-payer healthcare. Even if one were to afford Trump the benefit of the doubt that his views have genuinely "evolved" rightward since his days of palling-around with the likes of Al Sharpton and Hillary Clinton, the man remains more a chameleon than a conservative. For example, where...

The University of Ottawa yoga class that was canceled due to concerns of cultural appropriation will be returning with an Indian instructor. In November, the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa informed yoga instructor Jennifer Scharf that her class catering to students with disabilities would be canceled because of the "cultural issues and implications" involved with a white woman teaching a yoga class. [...] Now, CBC News reports the yoga class is returning to the University of Ottawa with an Indian instructor named Priya Shah. Unlike Scharf, who had been teaching the yoga class for seven years, Shah became...

Another explanation is that he sees trouble ahead for Hillary Clinton. Because of his close relationship with former NYC police Chief Ray Kelly and others in the law enforcement community, he might have the inside track on the FBI investigation into the former Secretary of State’s handling of classified documents and questionable foundation-related activities. Democrats have done a fine job of completely dismissing the FBI inquiry, but the possibility that Clinton could face serious legal hurdles may be encouraging Bloomberg’s ambitions. The probe is not, as some Hillary backers have claimed, scandal-mongering by right-wing zealots. It is a serious investigation,...
