A 30-year-old Russian man with a degenerative disease has volunteered for the world’s first human head transplant operation. Researchers have seriously questioned the feasibility of the operation proposed by Italian surgeon Sergio Canavero. Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka says he will travel to Moscow to participate in events marking the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe on May 7 and 8, but he will not attend a Victory Day military parade in the Russian capital on May 9. A military veteran was reportedly detained and charged by Valdosta State University police in Georgia Friday after she took an American flag from a group of protesters who were walking on it.
