Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on November 20 during a brief visit to Russia, the Kremlin announced Tuesday. In September, Russia raised a brief alarm in the Middle East after apparently detecting a joint Israel and US missile launch test in the Mediterranean. Dear Friend of CV, 720,000. That's how many people last month gave up. They've stopped looking for jobs. The Labor Department today reported that participation in the labor force is at a 35-year low. Some good news at last. The illegal immigrant crisis has been solved. The UC Berkeley student government has banned the term “illegal immigrant” from its discourse, deeming the phrase racist, offensive, unfair and derogatory. In an unanimous vote, student senators passed a resolution that stated the word “illegal” is “racially charged,” “dehumanizes” people, and contributes to “punitive and discriminatory actions aimed primarily at immigrants and communities of color.” The resolution passed 18-0; therefore, we no longer have any illegal immigrants in this country, because there is no longer such a thing as an illegal immigrant. Revise your Newspeak dictionaries accordingly.

In an exchange with Eric Cantor, Obama acknowledged a report from the CBO that suggested 8-9 million people would lose their heath insurance because of Obamacare. And this was in February of 2010: Did you notice how even then he minimized the 8-9 million who would lose their health insurance as a small part of the 300 million in this country, just as he and his acolytes are doing now?

Let the blame game begin over ObamaCare’s oversights. The nation’s largest health insurer, UnitedHealthcare, claims the Affordable Care Act is responsible for forcing it to boot doctors from its Medicare Advantage program that serves thousands of elderly patients in the New York metro region. CEO Jack Larsen, under fire for separating seniors from their MDs, took out full-page ads to explain that cuts in Medicare spending forced the insurer’s hand.

A group of US scientists have created the world’s smallest human liver which can survive for forty days and works like the real thing – using a 3D printer. The mini-livers, made by California-based medical research company Organvo, are just half a millimetre deep and four millimetres wide but can perform most of the functions that a real liver can. The printer builds up 20 layers of hepatocytes cells, which carry out liver functions, along with two major types of liver cell. It also adds cells from the lining of a blood vessel. This allows the liver cells to receive...

"Thank you very, very much," Clinton said as the crowd continued to clap loudly. "Wow." She was there to accept an award from the Mexican American Leadership Initiative, or MALI, which seeks to encourage cross-border philanthropy and dialogue between Mexicans...

The White House is considering whether to name a civilian to lead the National Security Agency for the first time ever. The current head of the NSA, Keith Alexander, a four-star Army general, plans to step down in the spring. The move could help lead to more transparency and oversight in the wake of disclosures by Edward Snowden about the scope of the NSA's controversial surveillance programs. But finding the right civilian...
