Democrat Luis Gutierrez , who happens to have been the first Latino congressman to endorse Barack Obama for president is simply outraged that the Obama administration is trying to bar illegal immigrants from private health care insurance..... this after the White House said it would move to bar illegal immigrants from buying private insurance in what's referred to as the exchange. GUTIERREZ: On the one hand, they say they're for comprehensive immigration reform. They call gatherings together at the White House to search for a solution to comprehensive immigration reform. And on the other hand, they drive the very immigrants...

This is a follow-up to the "Obama Backs Away From Missile Shield in Europe" article. While some people are calling Obama stupid, I don't think that of him at all. He is clearly trying to drive a wedge between us and our allies. All in his effort to weaken America.

The race to become the next governor of Virginia has gotten a lot closer. Right now, it’s effectively a toss-up between Republican Robert F. McDonnell and Democrat R. Creigh Deeds. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Virginia voters finds McDonnell attracting 48% of the vote while Deeds picks up 46%. Two weeks ago, McDonnell held a nine-point advantage. In August, McDonnell was up by eight. All of those figures include “leaners.” Leaners are those who initially indicate no preference for either of the candidates but answer a follow-up question and say they are leaning towards a particular candidate. Premium...

The main mob turncoat against ex-Gambino boss John A. (Junior) Gotti has identified 11 cops as being crooked - including storied ex-NYPD detective Bo Dietl. The stunning charges appeared in an explosive FBI report on police corruption in August, with the damning charges coming from Gambino hitman John Alite. Dietl, a frequent quest on the Don Imus radio program and a high-profile private detective, fed information to the Gambinos from the mid-to-late 1980s, Alite told the FBI. An angry Dietl denounced the charges Thursday, saying Alite was a "f------ liar" who had never met him. "On the job or retired,...

By day, Clinton resident Chris Adams teaches art classes to about 200 tweens and teens at Roy Junior High. After hours, the 34-year-old father of three produces abstract paintings about some of the weightier matters of the universe -- in particular, the end of the world. "There's a lot we do that's very unnatural in how we live our lives," said Adams, a self-described Christian and Mormon. "There's a growing tension with people -- perhaps it comes from 9/11 -- and we don't feel safe anymore." "But there's a general belief," Adams added, "that things will get worse and an...

This summer's melt of Arctic sea ice has not been as profound as in the last two years, scientists said as the ice began its annual Autumn recovery. At its smallest extent this summer, on 12 September, the ice covered 5.10 million sq km (1.97 million sq miles). This was larger than the minima seen in the last two years, and leaves 2007's record low of 4.1 million sq km (1.6 million sq miles) intact. But scientists note the long-term trend is still downwards. Arctic temperatures have been cooler this year than last year, researchers said, and winds have helped...

The liberals were crazy angry while George W. Bush was president. Part of it was that for a time after 9/11, they were made completely irrelevant — when people are dying, who is going to listen to a liberal? But another part of it is that it’s much easier to hate a person than to hate a concept — like conservatism. So they were able to channel all their hate into President Bush. And they were jumping-around-pooh-flinging-biting-each-other angry. I think a number of conservatives were secretly looking forward to the Obama presidency in hopes that liberals might just calm down...

Here is a list of ACORN’s crimes—take special note of number nine. 1. This is a group that was knee-deep in voter fraud during the president’s election. 2. There seems to have been zero accountability for this fraud by the group’s leadership. 3. ACORN does not appear to have any true ‘leadership’ to speak of. 4. ACORN has now been deeply embarrassed by two amateur journalists. 5. They were embarrassed because they were assisting two people—posing as a pimp and a prostitute—who wanted help getting a loan on a house to keep 13 El Salvadorian sex slaves. 6. They did...

VIDEO At Link HERE .A Houston man was handcuffed and assaulted by cops for posting anti-Obama flyers around his town, actions described as “criminal vandalism” by police and some local residents, despite the fact that giant pro-Obama murals are openly displayed in the same neighborhood for all to see. 21-year-old Mark Fuhre, an Alex Jones Show listener, decided to post the flyers even though the Infowars Obama Joker Poster Contest had ended, because he wanted to alert his neighbors to the cult of personality being manufactured around Obama and how the establishment is stifling any criticism of the President by...

China, Russia, et al. are talking about shifting their monetary reserves out of U.S. dollars. Gold has hit $1000 per ounce, even though wholesale and retail prices exhibit a deflationary bias. The United Nations has called for a new world currency to replace the dollar. What’s going on? All of these phenomena are early death throes of Federal Reserve notes. I balk at saying “the U.S. dollar,” because a “dollar” is still defined in law as a certain quantity of silver or gold, whereas the U.S. currency that now circulates here and around the globe consists of nothing more than...

Engineering and construction company Balfour Beatty PLC (BBY.LN) Thursday said it had agreed to buy U.S. professional services company Parsons Brinckerhoff for $626 million (GBP380 million), which it will fund with a rights issue to raise GBP353 million. The deal is intended to deliver on the company's strategy to boost its infrastructure business, especially in the U.S., where the industry has been promised an injection of public money under President Barack Obama's manifesto. "It makes us a strong player worldwide and, in particular, in the U.S., where we are just beginning to see government money come through and where we...

Polish PM Won't Take Hillary's 3 AM Phone Call You can be sure he would have picked up the phone for Bill, and he might even have picked up the phone for Hillary if he thought that she was willing to "channel" her husband and offer his view of the Obama administration decision, but when Hillary calls at 3 AM -- well, you unless you're married to her... Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed today that he declined last night to take a call from the U.S. informing him of the decision to scrap planned missile-defense bases in his country....

They also searched Zazi's apartment and the home of his aunt and uncle, both in the east Denver suburb of Aurora. How would you like to have dinner with Sarah Palin? This is the chance of a lifetime to experience an evening with Sarah Palin. The former Vice Presidential candidate and Governor of Alaska was selected as one of America's "Top 10 Most Fascinating People" of 2008 for a Barbara Walters ABC special in December 2008. Her oldest son Track enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 11, 2007, and was subsequently assigned to an infantry brigade. He and his unit deployed to Iraq in September 2008 for 12 months. She is, quite simply, one of the most talked about people...

Senior House Democrats told the Federal Communications Commission Thursday it should do more to stop Internet providers from playing favorites among content providers, brushing aside opposition from Republicans and some large telecom firms. Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., who chairs the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said at a hearing Thursday that he will put his weight behind a "net neutrality" bill introduced by Reps. Edward Markey, D-Mass, and Anna Eshoo, D-Calif. The bill would prevent Internet service providers from blocking or prioritizing legal content on the Web.
