Americans are being misled by President Obama and the Republican Party in the health care debate. That is right, the Republican Party. Both are ready to foist a huge joke on the Democratic party, truly left-wing Obama Supporters and the American people.

U.S. wealth, measured in assets under management, has fallen farther than its transatlantic cousin's. LONDON -- As market participants reflect on the anniversary of the collapse of Lehman Brothers, so emerges the sobering consequence of the market crash that followed: North America's wealth has now fallen the most out of any other region in the world, allowing Europe to step up to the plate as the world's richest continent. North America, defined as the United States and Canada, had $29.3 trillion in assets under management in 2008, while Europe had $32.7 trillion, according to a survey by the Boston Consulting...

WASHINGTON (AP) - For the first time in nearly 30 years, the Environmental Protection Agency plans to strengthen standards for water pollution from coal-fired power plants. The agency said Tuesday that equipment required to reduce air pollution has increased the harmful contaminants in water discharged by power plants. It also said that existing regulations are not enough to protect water quality and wildlife.

Now THAT is what I call bipartisan!Monday evening, the Senate approved a measure sponsored by Senator Mike Johanns (R-NE) that would block ACORN from receiving grants for mortgage counseling, Community Development Block Grants, the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, and other programs. Such a provision is not included in the House version of the housing bill, so it will not become law unless House negotiators approve of the change to the bill in conference. With ACORN under fire for enabling child prostitution, tax cheating, voter registration fraud and embezzlement it's about time Congress started to bar the group from collecting federal funds....

Last night, the Senate voted to strip funding in the THUD appropriations bill from the corrupt Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN). The vote came after news broke that the non-profit, which was indicted in several states for voter fraud last fall, was using your tax dollars to counsel a couple acting as a pimp and prostitute on how to commit housing and tax fraud to operate their "business." To be sure, this story is probably only the tip of the iceberg. Even after making national news for this recent scandal, indictments of voter fraud and its radical...

I think by now, we all realize that “you will be able to keep your insurance if you like it”, and “we will pay for all of this without raising taxes on anyone making less that $250,000″ are probably not exactly accurate. And, of course, Rep. Joe Wilson (R. S.C.) exposed the “illegal aliens” will not be covered myth. However, thanks to Scott Harrington’s article in Monday’s Wall Street Journal, we learn that certain other statements made by the President last Wednesday night were, well,” not exactly”.

A PETITE blonde knocked out a Coldstream Guard, hurled another into a disco sound deck and battered one of their wives at a dinner dance. Martial arts instructor Ashley Wolfe - who is just 5ft 3in - went berserk when male soldiers kissed and danced with each other, pretending to be gay. The 24-year-old Canadian, in a striking red satin dress, yelled "This should not be allowed in the British Army" - then went on a rampage, knocking over burly soldiers from the elite regiment like skittles.

Yesterday, the United States Senate -- perhaps finally starting to see the train coming down the tracks bearing down upon it in the form of vicious public scorn of Congress and anybody, from any party, who inhabits (or infests) the place -- voted 83-7 to voted to approve an amendment that would preclude ACORN from receiving DOT and HUD federal funding in the future. My initial take is that this is a very good thing. ACORN has been receiving federal dollars -- under both Democratic and Republican administrations -- going back to the early 1990s (something like 53 million, in...

Rep. Joe Wilson's outburst last week is drawing new recriminations on the House floor, with a member of the Congressional Black Caucus suggesting that a failure to rebuke Wilson is tantamount to supporting the most blatant form of organized racism in American history. In an obvious reference to the KKK, Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., said Tuesday that people will put on "white hoods and ride through the countryside" if emerging racist attitudes, which he says were subtly supported by Wilson, are not rebuked. He said Wilson must be disciplined as an example. ~~ The punishment is expected take the form...

Following President Obama’s speech to Congress last week, support for his health care reform plan increased steadily to a peak of 51% yesterday. However, the bounce appears to be over. The latest daily tracking shows that support has fallen all the way back to pre-speech levels.

People mourning the loss of a loved one are six times more likely to suffer cardiac arrest, potential proof that you can indeed die of a broken heart, Australian researchers said Tuesday. According to a Heart Foundation study of the physical changes suffered immediately after a profound loss, grieving people were at significantly higher risk of heart problems, said lead researcher Thomas Buckley. "We found higher blood pressure, increased heart rate and changes to immune system and clotting that would increase the risk of heart attack," Buckley said.

NBC's Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd does not fault the state-run media for ignoring the communist-Truther Van Jones controversy. He says it was a waste of time. For the record-- Van Jones was in charge of doling out $80 billion of Stimulus money to selected green projects. He was certainly no low level czar as Chuck Todd suggested.

He is looking a bit sweaty and stressed. Must have heard his ACORN army is falling apart.

This story is disturbing in and of itself. Any unprovoked physical attack like the one displayed on this video is enough to make one’s blood boil and desire for justice rise. But the really outrageous element is the way the authorities have handled the beating. According to stltoday.com, Belleville Police Capt. Don Sax said originally that the assault was racially motivated. Today, Sax has retracted his statement, saying that the act of two black students punching a white student in the face repeatedly while other black students chanted “Boom, boom, boom!” and “Beat his ass!” did not have a racial...
