Ten years of scattering our seed corn throughout the world has left us little to grow employment. Obama is no better or worse than his predecessors. The first step in recovery is to admit ‘I am a deficit free trader’.
China sells us some 5 times what they buy from us. Trade deficits of various amounts exist with many countries.
Trade is we buy product from you and you buy product from us. Trade is not we buy product from you and ship you jobs, factories and Treasuries in return.
