None of the three candidates for congress has more than 30 percent of the electorate's vote, according to a new poll. SAN ANTONIO – A year after Capt. Sam Brown was set ablaze when a bomb blew up his Humvee in Afghanistan, the 25-year-old West Point graduate endures a steady schedule of painful surgery and stretching to break up knotty burn scars. He also has another routine: checking a Web site that counts U.S. and coalition troop deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan. For Brown, it's one more regular reminder that the wars have not ended — something he says many Americans seem to have forgotten.

In a story on FoxNews Radio, truth broker Glen Beck is revealing how ACORN assists people in tax evasion in the process of helping them to buy houses. Beyond that; assisting in prostitution and condoning child labor in the illegal sex trade along with illegal immigration. Beck plans on playing an undercover video made by two people who were fed up with the corruption displayed by ACORN in their institutionalized voter registration fraud, their intimidation of voters. The corrupt manner in which members of congress are protecting ACORN ought to bring clearly to light just about every member of the...

U.S. Less Competitive Due to Wasteful Government Spending, Debt Video here. via ft.com Why did the World Economic Forum rate America as less competitive than it has in the past? In part, the WEF report demonstrated "particular concerns on the part of the business community about the government’s ability to maintain arm’s-length relationships with the private sector and in the perception that the government spends its resources wastefully." Yup, that sounds about right. It gets better though. America was rated very highly with regard to innovation and business efficiency, but we lost big points in the macroeconomics category, largely because...

A pro-family values California lawmaker who resigned after being caught on tape boasting about his sexual conquests denied Thursday that he had extramarital affairs, saying that "my offense was engaging in inappropriate storytelling." Mike Duvall stepped down Wednesday after a videotape surfaced in which was overheard telling a lawmaker about having sex with a lobbyist and another woman, including salacious details about how one mistress wears skimpy underwear and likes to be spanked. The 54-year-old Republican is married with two adult children. But Duvall said Thursday that his "decision to resign is in no way an admission that I had...

The math on this isn’t exactly rocket science. The administration blew 58% of the C4C money on overhead, leaving only 42% for the dealers and the car buyers. It amounts to $1.36 of administrative cost for every dollar in subsidies granted, a terrible conversion price for even Obama’s idea of redistributionism. What if the Cash for Clunkers program had been a charity rather than a government program? The Better Business Bureau would likely have classified it as a fraud. According to their guidelines, a reputable charity should spend at least 65% of their money on their charitable programs and no...

Here are some of the particulars: 45% crossed illegally based on rumors of a Bush administration amnesty.63% received Mexican government or media information supporting the notion of a Bush administration amnesty. 64% previously entered the United States illegally.80% desired to apply for amnesty.66%...

The President really has to watch this constantly return to these soaring cadences that deliver banalities. One cannot sound like Lincoln if there really is no message. It is time to move on, ignore criticism, and offer something that most can work with; instead, after 9 months we are getting a ‘they are mean to me’ whine at about every speech and photo-op, in the manner of biblical prophets who lash out at doubters. Obama never gives many concrete details, nor gets precise and concise, and now one wonders whether it is because he simply thinks he can go to...

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is planning to move several hundred Border Patrol agents away from the U.S.-Mexico border and will not secure a single additional mile of the U.S. border in fiscal 2010, according to the department’s annual performance report.

The document—“Department of Homeland Security Annual Performance Report: Fiscal Years 2008-2010”—was originally published by the Bush administration on Jan. 15 and was updated by the Obama administration on May 7.

Excluding the border between Alaska and Canada, the combined length of the U.S. borders with Mexico and Canada is about 6,000 miles (with almost 2,000 miles along the...

Joe Bastardi of Accuweather.com on Accuweather's website and again on Bill O'Reilly's show 9/9/09 presents irrefutable evidence which debunks claims by environmentalists that California's wild fires were caused by Global Warming. In a few short minutes and with just a few grafics of charts and images He debunks contempory claims of Global Warming entirely. Certainly, many far better than myself, have refuted the false claims of Global Warming and the so called human cause of it. But for obvious reasons, those whos attempts to do so have been thwarted by a biased agendized media, disinterested and dishonest politicians, and an...

NEW YORK: New York Governor David Paterson on Wednesday signed into law a bill that bans use of term "Oriental" in documents used by state agencies, public authorities and municipalities when referring to persons of Asian or Pacific islander heritage. The bill, sponsored by Assemblywoman Grace Meng and Senator Craig Johnson, was earlier unanimously passed by both houses of the New York State. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Paterson said that New York State champions the rights of immigrants and "I wonder why it was not passed earlier". Assemblywoman Grace Meng said the word "Oriental" is derogatory and offensive in...

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — It was just five months ago that Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. made the New Flyer bus factory here a symbol of the stimulus. With several cabinet secretaries in tow, he held a town-hall-style meeting at the factory, where he praised the company as “an example of the future” and said that it stood to get more orders for its hybrid electric buses thanks to the $8.4 billion that the stimulus law devotes to mass transit. But last month, the company that administration officials had pictured as a stimulus success story began laying off 320...

We’re not Dorothy walking down the yellow brick road and, Toto, we’re definitely not in Kansas any more! When I was growing up, I was taught that these are three topics that you simply don’t discuss. You don’t tell people how much money you make, you don’t tell people who you voted for, and religion, well, that’s just too personal. One little problem about keeping our mouths shut: a specific instruction from Jesus called The Great Commission. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy...
