What on earth is the Republican Party thinking? Or rather, what is it foolishly ignoring? The Obama administration has handed Republicans and conservatives a huge club with which to pound their Democrat opponents and to my knowledge, it has been ignored almost entirely. Certainly the biased media has ignored any discussion of the topic but then that is to be expected nowadays. The national media no longer serve their nation; they slobberingly serve only their Democrat masters. The issue? After decades of the Democrats scaring senior citizens prior to every election with phony accusations that the Republicans would reduce or...

I was very disappointed with biased news coverage of the recent funeral of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass. If I didn't know better, I would think that he was being considered for sainthood. Is this the same man who was responsible for the death of Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick? Is this the same devout Catholic who divorced his first wife, Joan, after 25 years of marriage? Wasn't he involved in the drunken escapades of the younger members of the Kennedy clan in Florida? During the funeral Mass, I was appalled to see that President Barack Obama was allowed...

GENETICS, UFOS AND THE BIRTH OF THE ANTICHRIST Written by Vladimir Moss Introduction If the first half of the twentieth century was distinguished by an amazing increase in our knowledge of the physical world, the second half was distinguished by an even more amazing increase in our knowledge of the biological world, and especially the world of human genetics and human reproduction. The vital break-through here was the discovery of DNA in 1953. Then came the introduction of the contraceptive pill, in vitro fertilisation and surrogate motherhood. As one journalist put it: “First, contraception severed the connection between sex and...

President Barack Obama delivered his much-debated speech to schoolchildren Tuesday, sticking to scripted talking points on the importance of education, personal responsibility, good study habits and hard work. "I'm calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education...and to do everything you can to meet them," Obama said in a televised speech aired live at schools throughout the nation. "Every single one of you has something that you're good at. Every single one of you has something to offer." Leading up to the controversial talk, parents and conservative groups voiced opposition to a perceived federal intrusion...

It is not just the career safe seat members of Congress and the Senate who are vulnerable to getting caught up in the arrogance and elitism of power. Relative back bencher Baron Hill from Indiana's 9th District might well have surged into the lead in the contest to see which member of congress had the most out of touch and arrogant attitude during the town hall meetings. You have to watch this video to believe it. It starts right after he has announced that there will be no videos allowed and goes into question and answer. The first question is...

My friend argued with me that Obama just wanted to tell the kids to stay in school and treat others nicely, and listen to your teachers. Fine... there is nothing wrong with telling kids that... My problem is the one who is saying it. The drop out rate will not decrease because Obama said stay in school. It starts at home, with a solid foundation and parents who are involved. Both of my sons are great students and great kids, I believe it's because their mother and I do their homework with them every night, we talk to their teachers...

You might think a major metropolitan newspaper that boasts "The Midwest's largest reporting team" on its front page would report on a suburban demonstration attracting thousands of people. In the case of the Chicago Tribune, you'd be wrong. Today's Tribune print edition makes no mention of yesterday's Tea Party Express protest in New Lenox, Illinois, located only 36 miles from Chicago's Loop. The Southtown Star did cover the event on its Web site, noting: About 6,000 people packed the hillside venue at The Commons Performing Arts Pavilion for the protest, part of a nationwide Tea Party Express tour that includes...

Otis McDonald is a great American. In the 1960s, he wore an Army uniform and served with distinction. He then moved home to Chicago were he began a family. Meanwhile, he busied himself during the days with work at his local union. Eventually, he led the effort to integrate his union and ended up as president of the union. In recent years, McDonald looked around Chicago and decided that he could do something about the shadowy areas of the city outside the bright lights. He went into impoverished, crime-riddled neighborhoods as a community activist. Yet his work inevitably meant he...

Families who fail to get health insurance could be fined up to $3,800 under a health care reform plan proposed by a top Senate negotiator. Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., who as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee is leading talks among the "Gang of Six" senators to hammer out a bipartisan compromise, offered what he described on Tuesday as a "framework" and not a "final product." But the detailed proposal comes just days ahead of a self-imposed Sept. 15 deadline for such a deal. Baucus is pushing his committee members hard to hammer out a bill, and those details come...

Ynet has obtained a copy of the first letter kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit sent to his parents from captivity in September of 2006, just three months after his capture. The letter was apparently written one month after the kidnapping, and in light of the many Arab phrases used was probably dictated to the soldier by his captors. Go to link for copy of hand written letter The letter says: "To my mother and father, brothers and friends, I send you Shalom. My health is deteriorating daily, I am especially struggling emotionally and this is causing me much depression. I am...

U.S. consumer credit plunged $21.6 billion for July, which was 5 times projected by economists, and is a 10% drop in total credit. June credit plunge had originally been projected at $10.3 billion and was revised to $15.5 billion. Banks are restricting lending terms and job losses make Americans reluctant to borrow. WHOA!This HUGE contraction of credit is getting worse, not better as the liars in Washington have been saying.

I really admire Van Jones, Obama's former "green jobs" appointee. Some would say it's maybe even a crush. He wrote "The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems." He also co-founded both the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights and Green for All. I met him at a Green For All conference held in Memphis several years ago and I was impressed by his vision, his leadership skills, and the way people flock to him. So I was disappointed to see that, after being the victim of a weeks-long smear campaign by Fox News' Glenn...

The Battle of Gog and Magog Gary DeMar, Sep 08, 2009 It’s good to see that someone agrees with me that Gog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is not Russia: “Gog is not a present or future leader from Russia,” writes Joel Richardson author of The Islamic Antichrist . “Russia is not spoken of in biblical prophecy. Despite all of the hype and discussion that has been devoted in recent years to casting Russia as the leader of a soon-coming invasion of Israel, the Bible nowhere expresses any such thing.” Richardson still agrees with many end-time prophecy writers that “the...
