The evening-shift workers wanted their lunch breaks to coincide with sunset ... Swift says it has made changes so Ramadan will go smoothly this year. The workers or the EEOC can sue Swift if no settlement is reached.

The Obama administration is planning to revive high-impact enforcement of civil rights against policies where statistics show that minorities fare disproportionately poorly. Seven months after taking office, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. is reshaping the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division by pushing it back into some of the most important areas of American political life, including voting rights, housing, employment, bank lending practices [swell idea! Too bad nobody ever thought of it before] and redistricting after the 2010 census. As part of this shift, the Obama administration is planning a major revival of high-impact civil rights enforcement against policies,...

Listening to Fox News the other day, I was appalled to hear a radio spot sponsored by aRicherLife.org. The site, which is part of the propaganda apparatus of the National Fair Housing Alliance, makes some of its "media materials" available for those who may want to indoctrinate their employees, students, etc. These materials will help them to understand what the thought crimes are, and what they must think and say if they are to keep their jobs, friends, academic careers, and so on. To help analyze this specimen of anti-white propaganda, here is a transcript of the spot. The two...

By Michelle Malkin • September 1, 2009 01:06 PM President Obama told a student report last month that he would be making an address to schoolchildren on September 8: ServiceWire has the announcement and broadcast schedule for the speech. The Daily Paul picked up the story last week and linked to teachers’ manuals pegged to Obama’s address, which have now been linked on Drudge. The documents have a heavy activist bent: During the Speech: • As the President speaks, teachers can ask students to write down key ideas or phrases that are important or personally meaningful. Students could use a...

Origination Origination comes from Me not a book or verse yes from relationship for as my Word ( Jesus ) I knew you before you were formed is a deep depth not easily understood . A Kennewick man who apparently wasn't wearing pants has been accused of harassing a neighbor's horse. The Tri-City Herald reports the horse's owner spotted a bald man without any pants chasing the horse about 3:30 a.m. Friday in a corral. Benton County sheriff's deputies identified 26-year-old man, who lives next door, as the suspect and he was jailed for investigation of trespassing. Deputies also had been called to the home near Finley Thursday evening when the owner saw the same bald man scaring the horse enough to break through an electrical and barb-wire fence. He was wearing a black T-shirt...

A man living north of San Antonio says he has quite the animal sitting in his freezer -- and it may be a mythical chupacabra. Jerry Ayer, a teacher at the Blanco Taxidermy School in Blanco, Texas, told TV station KSAT that he's never seen anything like it. "Different, that’s for sure, very interesting," said Ayer. The find comes amid a number of strange sightings in the area. The animal is gray in color with leathery, hairless skin and large fangs. "The front legs seem to be a little bit longer than a typical coyote, very irregular and never seen...

Google Inc.'s Gmail service was knocked offline Tuesday in a severe outage that the company said affected a "majority" of users. It wasn't immediately clear what caused the disruption, which led Gmail users to get an "Unable to reach Gmail" error message as their computers tried repeatedly to reconnect to the service.

Yes, we can! With tax dollars!* * * * *Patrick Courrielche reveals at Big Hollywood that he participated in a teleconference call in which the National Endowment for the Arts --the largest funder of the arts in the U.S.-- encouraged artists to create pro-Obama art: I was invited by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to take part in a conference call that invited a group of rising artist and art community luminaries “to help lay a new foundation for growth, focusing on core areas of the recovery agenda - health care, energy and environment, safety and security, education,...

As predicted, Chris Matthews could hardly contain himself reacting to former Vice President Dick Cheney, (or Chee-neey, as Matthew peculiarly insists on over-emphasizing with the relish pretentious liberals used to affect when saying “Nee-ah-rrrah-wah” during arguments over the Contras and the Sandinistas). Cheney’s blockbuster interview on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace had all the usual suspects screaming in outrage Monday, with Matthews’ reaction particularly self-revealing, thanks to California Congressman Duncan Hunter. There was plenty of the usual blather about how we should be above this, misapplications of the Geneva Conventions, whether it works, and the like (issues we will...

This morning we posted an ad claiming to be from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Then a little while ago we received a call from the WWF legal eagle team and wouldn't you know, they told us the ad in question is fake. In fact, "WWF Strongly Condemns Unauthorized Ad Campaign". "World Wildlife Fund today issued the following statement in response to an ad posted on several Internet sites that has been inaccurately linked to our organization and contains messages and images related to the events of 9-11. "'WWF strongly condemns this offensive and tasteless ad and did not authorize...

Beloved Leader Obama to Address School Kids on September 8 This is truly CREEPY. Name one, just one, Western leader-----other than the obvious choices such as Aldoph Hitler----who have "addressed the schoolchildren" of a country. It's going to happen here on September 8. Source: http://www.ed.gov/admins/lead/academic/bts.html Go to that page and download the "learning materials." They are in the Word and Adobe formats, so you should have no problem. Read them over very carefully. All the the "learning materials" are about OBANANA-----not our country. No mention that we live in a democratic republic. It's all about his "leadership," his "vision" and...

With the federal government facing trillions of dollars in red ink, one might think that the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), which receives upwards of $30 million a year from the taxpayers, would want to show Congress it wasn't squandering money on propaganda for terrorist groups like Hamas. But that hasn't happened. Instead, USIP has issued a new report that twists reality to argue that Hamas has moderated and Israel needs to negotiate with the terror organization.

Mitt Romney told aides that he was dropping out of last year's presidential campaign because he didn't want to aid "a surrender to terror" by damaging John McCain's campaign, according to an account in the Boston Globe. The quote is from Sasha Issenberg's piece in the Globe magazine on Romney's past and future campaign, worth a read-through. Romney was considering last February whether to stay and fight, Issenberg writes: Eventually spokesman Madden’s BlackBerry buzzed with a draft from Romney. Staying in the race, he had concluded, would only weaken McCain’s prospects against Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. “In this time...

Two weeks ago, 51 percent said the war wasn’t worth fighting. Now this. I’m not worried yet — the left won’t upset our savior by pounding the table and Obama won’t lightly betray his core campaign promise on foreign policy — but if ObamaCare ends up watered down and Afghanistan still looks bad next year, he’ll need to throw them a bone. And with the polling already this bad, he’ll have all the political cover he needs. Like Politico says, if and when he does pull out, except it to be framed as a cost-cutting measure. Because he’s all about...
