NEW NATIONAL POLL: DONALD TRUMP HAS BIGGEST LEAD EVER WITH CARSON A DISTANT 2ND…(40% to Bush 10%)

A new national poll out today by OANN and Gravis Marketing has Trump up to 40%, his YUGEST lead ever over his Republican contenders. Here’s how each candidate rated:

oann_trump_forty

While Carson’s lead more than doubled, he’s still a distant second place with the rest of the GOP field behind him. Not that Jeb lost a bit as both Cruz and Fiorina gained.

Here’s the info on the poll:

Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 3,567 registered voters across the U.S. regarding the presidential election. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2%. The total may not equal exactly 100% due to rounding. The polls were conducted on August 21-22 using interactive voice response, IVR, technology and weighted separately for each population in the question presented.

I don’t know nick. Have nothing against him. Really only began seeing his name after Donnie Trump announced.

But it occured to me this morning when some new numbers came out; nick must really be a mess. He’s been peeing into the wind for 2+ months now. Someone who loves him should tell him to just go take a shower and give it a reast.

Those were before this stretch of polling, except for the H1B.

He is still the better choice. Once people look more closely at Carson, they will have issues with some of his positions. He is a nice guy, but a little off the mark in very important areas. Cruz is better overall.

As id always the case, liberal “Conservatives” abandoned the conservative over a minor disagreement (h1B) and ran hat in hand to a far more liberal alternative while beating their chests over how conservative their idiocy was.

Proving conclusively what I have said for years.

Again.

Agree....and, last night’s non-answer to MEgyn didn’t help him, either.

He had the chance to hit one out of the park Trump-style, and he struck out. A simple “Yes” with an explanation of our existing laws, and what the 14th amendment is actually about, would have gone far.

As it is....his poll numbers continue in the single digits.

I know not, however, my best bet is that WE’RE paying for it as taxpayers. All of the money that gets donated on the 1040 probably doesn’t cover it, and I’ll bet that the deficit is funded by us.

Trump is the only one not owned by rich donors

All other politicians are owned by rich donors

Trump is the only one running that is saying build the wall and deport illegals, China, Mexico etc.

Go Trump!

He’s beating all the media .I’ve never seen anyone beat the media

Pray America is waking

I do so, every day. Time is really running out, otherwise. The damage that the Washington establishment's combination of perfidy & head in the sand stupidity, is destroying the culture that has made all of our historic achievements possible. (The real achievements, not the fuax progress that the Left extols.)

I got the sense Walker just gave up. He went very low key in his speech tone, and he seemed resigned to just going through the motions.

I think he will drop out.

This poll has 4 tiers, imo.

1. Trump - 40%, far above the next tier
2. Carson, Bush, Cruz
3. Fiorina, Kasich, Rubio, Huckabee, Walker
4. Perry, Paul, Pataki, Jindal, Graham, Christie, Santorum

The 4th tier should definitely drop out, but all of them with the possible exception of Santorum, are favorite son delegate dividers for their states. Big states too: Texas, KY, NY, LA, SC, NJ, PA. That would be a huge chunk to keep away from Trump and to bestow on someone else. They are all probably Bush operatives...maybe not Jindal and Santorum.

Not strange. Only a minority have ever voted purely on ideological lines. Those of us who have a clear philosophy of Government have always been a minority.

Maybe we’ll get a conservative in 2020, then.

“It is time for those below 2% to man up and drop out”

Let’s move that up to 5%!

“Are they getting some financial reward to stay in?”

Most likely they are there at the behest of the GOPe and they will get to keep for their personal use, any “unused” campaign funds. They are the GOPe’s flailing attempt to keep Trump from getting the nomination.

I am guessing the donor money is still coming in because like Trump says, they are being bought and sold.

It is an investment in the future for a lobbyist. They will give money regardless of the candidates chance at the presidency, because they will want favors in other issues where the candidate will have power.

If it’s a candidate with the support of the GOP-E it will never be a conservative.
