NEW NATIONAL POLL: DONALD TRUMP HAS BIGGEST LEAD EVER WITH CARSON A DISTANT 2ND…(40% to Bush 10%)

A new national poll out today by OANN and Gravis Marketing has Trump up to 40%, his YUGEST lead ever over his Republican contenders. Here’s how each candidate rated:

oann_trump_forty

While Carson’s lead more than doubled, he’s still a distant second place with the rest of the GOP field behind him. Not that Jeb lost a bit as both Cruz and Fiorina gained.

Here’s the info on the poll:

Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 3,567 registered voters across the U.S. regarding the presidential election. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2%. The total may not equal exactly 100% due to rounding. The polls were conducted on August 21-22 using interactive voice response, IVR, technology and weighted separately for each population in the question presented.

All: sorry to hijack, but we seem to have a retread to discuss.

Hey darksheare...who do you think the retread is? I’m thinking pissant or tnmouth. What’s your reading of the chicken innards? (Or whatever unclean beasts you’re eviscerating in the UDT dungeon this week).

If Donald Trump starts playing smart and being thoughtful, serious, and appearing “Presidential”, and not being petty and vindictive with his critics, he’s the next President of the United States. It’s that simple.

I know.

It’s been trying to come out from back in my memory banks for two days now.

I’ve read that here before.

When I heard Jindal a few years ago make the major GOP response to some national event after the Dem response, I said to myself, “this guy is NOT ready for prime time.”

When I heard Obama speak for an event of similar import during the Bush era, before he was a candidate, I said to myself, “Oh, boy, we will be hearing more from this guy.” I have not heard a recent Jindal speech, so perhaps he has grown/learned.

Graham isn’t far from being at the point that any drop will be a negative number. I calculate he had around 22 people vote for him in the poll. A few cousins and his gay friends and he’s up to 22. But at least a few cousins must have dropped out ‘cause he went down from .70 to .60.

As id always the case, liberal “Conservatives” abandoned the conservative over a minor disagreement (h1B)

Cruz also wants legal status for the 40 million illegals in this country, and just a couple of years ago blushed to even suggest the idea of self-deportation, making him even more lefty on the issue than Mitt Romney. Cruz's opposition to amnesty is entirely defined by the phrase "I oppose a pathway to citizenship." He does not oppose legal status, and his opposition to a pathway is just hokus pokus, because once you give these illegals residence in this country, it is impossible to actually forbid them citizenship.

Some of the people in my area who said that they favor Trump were Obama voters. Others are local current and former government employees.

I like Susanna, but she has some bad metrics here in NM. State is ranked near the bottom many education, insurance, poverty measures - tough to overcome.

If you’re going to go Hispanic for the Trump veep, go with the guy who brings in the South, and the evangelicals, as a previous poster eloquently articulated. Cruz.

This remote fear still keeps popping up in the back of my head:

Okay, the polls now favor Trump by quite a margin. If this continues and especially if it continues with national "all people" polls and shows the majority of the American people want Trump and then

Through all kinds of shenanigans and manipulation, Jeb gets the nomination and then

Through MSM 24/7 Hillary media support, voter fraud and voter machine hijacking, Hillary gets elected President,

at what point do we

load the cartridge box. . Yes, Jeb at 10% and Hillary sinking fast with emailgate and the 80 other gates. . She still may be President. . Will That be enough to Water the Tree of Liberty?

Yeah he pulls from more than just repubs.... This isn’t a repub poll. As you noted, this is straight up registered voters.

Wow
