I'm late to the show here, but one thing you have to understand about Bill Clinton is that he does not have a guilty conscience. Narcissists do not feel guilt.

Nothing is their fault at all. They know the words "I'm sorry," but they are incapable of being sorry or "feeling your pain." They can only feel their own pain and it's always someone else's fault.
